Great to do with small kids! My two boys aged 10 and eight had a good time doing this activity. It was slow paced and meant that they didn’t have to walk around too much. We got to see everything and our tour guide was very friendly.

We learned a lot about Nizwa, local culture and traditions. Maybe a shorted, more focused tour would have been better for us.

If you’re looking for a unique tour around Nizwa Souq and The Old Village, Nizwa Tourism Carts is the company to book. I was so impressed with the level of knowledge from Qusai. He really took his time during this tour it did not feel rushed like other tours I’ve been on in the past. He also recommended a lovely local place to eat which was delicious food btw (Al Aqr). In addition, he has a great eye for photography / videography and knows the best spots in Nizwa. I cannot thank Qusai enough, definitely one of the best tour guys I’ve ever met and so friendly. It was an amazing memorable experience.

The tour was great and very informative and takes you around all the main spots. The guide was on time and very friendly..

We were a group of 8 people (including children) and had taken a big cart for our tour. Our driver/ guide met us at Nizwa souq parking at the designated time and then took us around. The tour started from Nizwa souq then to Nizwa fort and then to various parts of Al Aqar village. During the entire tour our guide was telling us the history and the importance of each place and even patiently waiting while we took photographs! The entire tour lasted 1.5 hours and ended at the same place from where we had started. It is definitely a must do activity if you wish to really see the real Nizwa!!!

We pre-booked through their what’s app. We made an appointment for 4 o’clock and we received a call exactly at 4 from the tour guide asking about our whereabouts. He came to us within 5 mins. The tour was thorough and he explained everything very well. He was a very respectful and polite gentleman.

Seriously, it was an amazing part in our business trip to Nizwa on 18 November 2022. The Tour guide gave us an elaborative explanation about the attractions in Nizwa and all the surrounding ancient monuments. The carts are very comfortable and new. The carts owner is friendly and tolerant.The Tour guide had a tablet to show recent photos and videos for all the surrounding ancient landmarks that we couldn't visit/ enter due to time constrain. The Tour was for about 35-40 mins and cost 1.5 OMR per head

A very nice experience because of the new information, though I read about Nessia before my arrival but the brother guide's morning story acknowledged and delivered me with new and exciting information in my memory which illustrates the depth of his knowledge of his country's history, and I felt that I was living the past during his guidance and understanding of the village, and I thank all the brothers for welcoming me, although I was late to get them, but they welcomed my delay which embarrassed me.
