Falaj Daris Hotel was the perfect base for exploring Nizwa's incredible heritage sites. This single-story, traditional-style hotel offers a peaceful retreat just a short drive from Nizwa Fort and Souq . The highlight is the fantastic outdoor pool set in a beautiful Arabian-style garden—a refreshing oasis after a day of sightseeing . Rooms are spacious, recently refurbished, and clean, with direct outdoor access that adds a unique, airy feel . The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with tips or arrangements . On-site dining offers both buffet and à la carte options, and it's one of the few places in Nizwa serving real beer . While the breakfast could have more variety , the overall value, comfort, and relaxing vibe make this hotel a top choice. I visited near the end of a long heritage trail, and the pool was exactly what I needed. Staying in this object has been very dissapoing. First of all, I reserved two rooms a week before our overnight stay. Day before they send a message saying the pool is under renovation. Once we arrived to the hotel and asked why only a day before we were informed of this, receptionist told us we can get a refund and find another accommodation. To that we replied that we don't want to look for another one for that day, but if they had informed us a week before, we would have. We asked if we can have a complimentary breakfast instead, to which he first said no, but after few minutes offered it to us. Secondly, if hotel is more than half empty, why is there a need to put another guests in adjoining room? Noise isolation between rooms is very poor, and I could barely sleep because of the noise. If you have so many rooms empty, do not put people next to one another. Would not recommend stay in this hotel, as their communication is very bad.

My stay at falaj Daris Hotel was an excellent experience that truly deserves praise. The hotel stands out for its high level of cleanliness across all facilities, reflecting great attention to detail to ensure guest comfort.

Comfortable hotel, with mamy service like: a varied breakfast (sweet and savory), a swimming pool, a gym, a lounge bar, a good restaurant. The rooms are nice and quote large, with comfortable beds and a mini bar. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was good. The hotel is a bit far away from the city center and the breakfast quality could have bene a bit higher.
