Room was good. Downside with the buffet dinner drinks are not included with what you paid for. Pool and pool area was not really clean. Also at the balcony there was a lizard that got in our room which my kids was really scared of. Staff were nice but when we asked for the manager to complain about drinks not included they ignored us and nobody spoke to us.

I had an amazing stay at Crowne Plaza Sohar. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. There was a great variety of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, juices, and local dishes. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. A special thank you to Chef Mr Vaisakh and Mr Selva for preparing such wonderful breakfast dishes every morning. His attention to quality and taste made the dining experience truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and outstanding food.

The rooms were incredibly spacious—much larger than we expected! Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the comfortable bedding to the elegant décor. It’s one of those places where you walk into the room and immediately think, “I could live here for a while!” We happened to visit during an October Fest celebration, and it turned our stay into something truly memorable. The energy, music, and decorations brought such a fun and festive vibe to the evening. A special mention to Chef Minas and Chef Vaishak, who did an outstanding job. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could really taste the passion and creativity behind each dish. Their hospitality and personal attention made the experience even more special. The staff overall were courteous and professional, always ready with a smile and eager to help. Whether it was at the reception, the restaurant, or housekeeping—everyone made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Crowne Plaza Sohar is definitely one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Oman. If you’re looking for a place that blends comfort, great food, and excellent service, this is the place to be.
