Small Group Guided E-bike Tour In Nice's Organic Vineyard

My husband and I took this tour with Juan during a trip to Nice. I had booked the tour months in advance :) and Juan was great about communicating with me, prior to our arrival. The meeting place is easy to find, the bikes are in EXCELLENT condition and Juan gives very clear instructions and directions while out riding. Even though the ride takes place on winding roads with traffic, I always felt very safe and it is obvious Juan takes safety seriously, which I appreciate. The bikes also have a nice amount of "juice" to get up the hills very easily, without much effort. I own a similar pedal-assist bike and mine requires way more effort than these - I'm going to have to upgrade! As to the wine, I am a non-drinker currently and found the tasting to be very informative and I enjoyed smelling the wines - then my husband drank my share. :) The winemaker was very friendly and he's got quite a large setup, from what began as a passion project/hobby. We loved taking an off-the-beaten path tour and we enjoyed chatting with the other couple on the tour as well. This outing was a standout highlight on our trip to Nice and I would highly recommend it.

Absolutely the highlight of our trip. Juan was an excellent guide and the bike ride was gorgeous. The connection that they have with the winery makes the tour feel more personal and it was just an incredible experience all around.

This experience was our favorite activity in Nice hands down!! Riding electric bikes through a few city blocks into the beautiful Nice countryside, then into beautiful wine country of Ballet!! Best guide ever, she was patient and very informative about the area and the history! We loved Mr.Spizzo too!!!

10/10 would recommend to anyone I know! The ride was a blast and the vineyard was gorgeous. The wine was so good we had to buy a few bottles to bring back home. Juan was incredible as well - very kind, knowledgable, and fun to hang out with. This was absolutely a highlight of our entire trip.

We had a wonderful day with Marion on our e-bike adventure. She was very good at giving instructions for the new e-bike members in our group. The winery was great with beautiful views. Marion was also very knowledgable about the winery. The picnic was lovely sitting under a fig tree. After the tour Marion took us to have delicious gelato. Very good tour and highly recommend.

This was a rare experience with the Heart (owner/wine maker) behind a small vineyard in Cote d'Azur! Our host, Marion, was so familiar with all of the workings of the region and the vineyard, nevermind her English was outstanding! Our small group of 10 riders were proficient on bikes, making navigating the city streets of Nice possible. The ebikes easily powered us up (and back down) the hills to the vineyard. This was a highlight of my time in Nice, France!

Amazing day with Marion! The bike ride was beautiful. Small family run winery. There was only 5 of us on the tour. We had the winery to ourselves. The wine is amazing! I recommend getting the packed lunch that they provide. We had a lovely lunch under a fig tree. The fresh figs were yummy. Highly recommend.

We did this e-bike and vineyard tour in early September and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nice! Our guide was Marion, and she was approachable, fun, and so knowledgeable about wine. Her relationship with the vintner was very fun to see and you can tell this is a project of love for her. The e-bikes made this tour possible and Marion’s guidance on the bikes was helpful as well. You do cycle on roads for most of the journey there and back; however, I did not find it difficult at all.

We did the Welcome to Your Vineyard E-Bike Tour and it completely exceeded every expectation. The scenic ride through the hills above Nice on the e-bikes was pure joy – effortless, beautiful views of the Mediterranean and countryside the whole way, and such a fun way to explore beyond the city. The family-run vineyard was charming and authentic, the wine tasting was excellent, and the whole atmosphere felt relaxed and special. **Juan the guide was amazing** – so friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made everyone feel completely at ease. He kept the group safe, shared great insights, and really elevated the entire day with his energy and care. If you’re in Nice and looking for something memorable that combines light adventure, stunning scenery, and delicious local wine, book this tour without hesitation. Fantastic experience would highly recommend. Marion was a wonderful guide - thoughtful, friendly, knowledgable and genuinely wanted to make our whole holiday beyond just the tour as good as it can be. The bike ride was very nice and the bikes in excellent condition. The ride up was about 90 minutes. There were 8 of us in the group which was a perfect size. We spent around 3 hours at the winery which was very enjoyable and insightful. We looked through the vineyards and in the cellar with commentary from Marion and the owner. We tasted 5 wines - one rose, two white and two red which were delicious. The tour offered to arrange a picnic lunch for us for additional €20 which was a very nice fresh bagel, chips & a drink. Would recommend this option. You could also purchase a glass of wine for lunch at €6 and buy bottles for around €25. We really enjoyed the experience which felt very authentic with tour guides that made it a really fun day and not at all transactional.

We had an exceptional time! Marion was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She made our tour very memorable and enjoyable. Marion engaged so well with our group that as a result, we all bonded as though we had been friends for a very long time! We would highly recommend the electric bike & winery tour through Viator! What an incredible experience! Riding the e-bikes through town and up into the wine region with the "Nice E-Bike & Organic Vineyard Tour" by Bike and Wine (bikeandwine.fr) was an absolute highlight of our time in Nice. Our tour guide, Juan, was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable about the area and deep in wine expertise. We visited the Collet de Bovis Winery, where Juan clearly has a wonderful connection with the owner, Jean Spizzo. The variety of organic wines from the vineyard—whites, rosés, and reds—was fantastic. Finishing the day with a smooth ride back along the Promenade des Anglais on a beautiful day made it completely unforgettable. Plus, Juan kindly shared a great list of local places to eat and drink in town! I can’t recommend this tour enough to anyone looking for a great ride paired with excellent local wine.

We had a great day e-biking to a small family vineyard. Juan was our guide an he was awesome. We got to meet the owner of the vineyard & learn the history of the area. We also got to enjoy a nice picnic lunch, taste some wines, and enjoy wonderful views. This tour is a must do.

This wine tasting tour was absolutely awesome! Juan did an absolutely outstanding job leading the e bike tour safely, kept us very engaged, and was extremely knowledgeable of all the wines. 10/10!

My husband and I had the best time on this bike/wine tour. Juan was the best host - so friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive even before we got there. I ended up getting pregnant after booking this excursion and was worried/thinking about cancelling but I’m soo glad we didn’t! It was a gorgeous ride, so much fun (the e-bike was so helpful and easy), and Juan went the extra mile to provide me with some non-alcoholic beverages so I still felt apart of the group. We also met some awesome people from all different countries and ended up extending the experience by all having drinks at a cafe afterwards (it was the perfect size small group). 10/10 experience overall.

Juan was the consummate professional. He knows his history and his wines. He also was a very safe and throughtful e-bike leader for mom and I. She is 64 and handleded the trip really well! Also the vineyard he took us to had really great wine! I highly recommend the white aged on oak!

Well organised from beginning to end. Juan was an excellent guide who made our first time in eBikes really easy and safe. We had a very warm welcome at the vineyard and an extremely interesting tour ending in a tasting and a delicious picnic lunch. If you want a different authentic day out, look no further.

Highly, highly recommend this tour! Juan is a gem of a guide. He's hardworking and really cares that guests have a great experience. One of the best I've experienced. My husband was unable to ride an e-bike because of a back injury and Juan helped us arrange an Uber for my husband to meet up with us at the winery. I did this tour with my two sons, ages 21 and 18 and they absolutely loved it! It was an easy ride (e-bikes are great!) and Juan made sure we were all safe -- he took great care to give us instruction throughout the ride. The winery tour was so unique. We have toured lots of large vineyard wineries in the past. It was interesting to see a small, independent, organic winery and the winemaker welcomed us into his home. This activity was one of the highlights of our vacation!

Juan did an amazing job with our bike and wine tour! We felt totally safe riding through the streets and hills of Nice. He gave us very specific instructions for how to ride through various traffic-y areas. The vineyard was beautiful and Mr Spizzo gave us wonderful guidance on his wines, their notes, and how each wine was made (& what features it garnered because of the way it was made). Juan also made our tour personalized - we stopped for coffee and gelato at the end per each guests request! Thank you so much!!!

We had Juan as a guide. He was full of great information, an amazing coach on how to use the bike and navigate the streets, and just a great person to spend our day with while on holiday. The bikes were fun, the wine was delicious, and we all learned a lot. I am so happy we added this experience to our trip!

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours, getting to know and see the beautiful wine region of Nice. Marion was an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. And we were welcomed so warmly by the winemaker, Monsieur Spizzo. The e-bikes were very easy to use and so caters for all levels of fitness. We opted for the picnic lunch and would highly recommend And the wine was delicious!

Incredibly fun bike ride! Juan guided us safely through some of Nice's streets, uphill towards a very cozy vineyard in Nice. No problem with such good information along the way and an electric bike. Such an incredible view along the tour! We then got an introduction to wine production and wine tasting of absolutely fantastic rose, white - and red wine ☺️ Highly recommended!

An excellent experience with our guide, Juan! They can order you lunch if you like, as well. We had a picnic in the vineyard, which was delightful. We had a private tasting with the owner of this family owned organic vineyard. Delicious wine! A wonderful day with lots of great photo ops.

Juan is a wonderful guide. The pickup point was around the corner from our hotel so easy to find. The tour leaves from there and winds thru the city before heading up into the hills to the local winery. The bikes are more than adequately powered so it was no problem getting up the hill.

Marion was very sweet and led on a a great bike trip!! The scenery was amazing and the owner of the vineyard was so welcoming ! We felt Like we were at Grandpa’s home . Highly recommend this excursion

Everything about this tour was amazing. I knew it would be good because prior to the trip the tour guide was communicating details. The actual tour was well run and a special experience.

I found this experience last minute and booked immediately for the next day. Marion was so kind and made the experience even better with our conversations. The e-bikes made the trip so much easier and the views were amazing. The wine tour itself was a lot of fun as well. 10/10 experience, would recommend!

One of our best tours with our guide Maryanne who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The wines were fantastic and our best and most unique experience as a family seeing a bespoke wine maker up close and personal. We learnt a lot and had the chance to see the non touristy and genuine, quieter side of nice. A tour that's worth the time and money. Not to be missed.

Juan was fantastic. Very informative, fun, knowledgeable. He guided us on bikes on the hills and when to shift. He was knowledgeable in the vineyard to answer questions. The vineyard was amazing. The owner talked to us, answered questions. Wine was great - the tasting was fun. We had a small picnic and got to know the others in our tour. This was one of the best tours we have ever done in all our travels. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend biking with Marion to the winery. She gave us clear direction before & during our ride. Felt very safe riding with her. The electric assistance bike made the ride enjoyable. Mr. Spizzo, the wine maker, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He served our tasting himself. Marion and Mr. Spizzo were a great hosts!

This is the second bike tour I have done with Marion and Juan and let’s just say I will keep coming back!! The bike tour itself is stunning as you venture through wine country, but the actual wine tour is an intimate, educational & authentic experience that anyone who loves wine needs to enjoy! If you are in Nice, this tour is a must!

The host was incredibly nice and friendly. The trip was gorgeous and the wine and vineyard was wonderful.

I would highly recommend this tour, Marion was very helpful, she kept time and her instructions on cycling the electric bike are superb even for a newcomer in Nice. The owner of the vineyard was available to take me through the wine making process and the wine is excellent.

We had a great time throughout the experience. Biking was accessible for people of all fitness levels with the electric assist. Beautiful views of the Mediterranean while having a glass of wine and lunch at the vineyard. Juan was very knowledgeable of the winery and had excellent recommendations of places to visit around Nice.

Juan was an amazing guide. We got up the hill safely to the winery. The E-Bikes were very nice as was the winery. We met the owner and tasted some nice wines and then had a picnic with a glass of wine overlooking the sea and city. We purchased a bottle of wine as well. Top notch tour. Highly recommend this tour.

We enjoyed a nice Sunday bike ride from Nice to the countryside. For those who haven't ridden in a while, it's not as daunting as it seems. Juan was our guide and did an amazing job instructing us and keeping us safe before and during the ride. There are a couple of stops along the way to overlook the city. The winery was a small family owned winery with a passion for quality. We enjoyed the tasting and learning about the history, wine making regulations, and harvesting process. It was a nice way to spend the day. Plan ahead to bring a nice lunch that you can pack on your bike for a picnic overlooking the region.

This was a truly fun and great experience. The tour guide Juan was amazing and guided the group through Nice to the vineyard very well, making sure everyone was enjoying it. This tour was the highlight of my 18 day trip to France! Marion is an exceptional host and the bike ride was relaxing and fun! It is THE way to see Nice in my opinion. My Spizzo’s winery is amazing, beautiful and he shares his tradition of winemaking in an enjoyable way. Marion does a wonderful job, has an excellent command of the English language and is herself well travelled. The wine is delicious and the perfect way to experience wines from Bellet(Nice). My only regret is flying with just a carryon so the wine will live in my memories. If you are looking for an incredible way to experience the South of France do this tour- you won’t regret it!

Hands down, an amazing tour. From the second we met Juan to the end, we felt like family. Everything was flawless, well organized and fun. I would not hesitate in booking this tour again.
