Fran was an engaging tour leader. She was a bit late. She talked quite fast. It was quite noisy when we’d stop to discuss a topic. She moved pretty fast. My daughter in her 20s thought she was great. Some of us older folks just tried to keep up. Overall an interesting and engaging tour
Sophiane was a fantastic guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and so much fun and she led my wife and me around Vieux Nice with fascinating stories about the history and culture of this beautiful city. Sophiane mixed in with important historical foundations and events of Nice with hilarious anecdotes. We loved our tour with her!
Our guide was 30 minutes late. She seemed a bit discombobulated. She was also a bit unprofessional for my taste.
Great tour with Kylene. Very informative. Interesting stories and history. Good recommendations for bars and restaurants
Amazing tour with Federica and Ryad in Cannes with all the highlights. I recomend for sure. Great views in Cannes and around.
We had Katie as our tour guide and I loved her personality. I also really enjoyed how she showed us pictures of how nice,France was in the past compared to now. She made my tour amazing
My girlfriend and took part on the Nice free tour as well as the Monaco tour. We had a lovely and enthusiastic guide named Jenny. Hopefully you will also meet her. She speaks fluently english and will help you whereever she can! Greets from Iran and Poland :-)
We a had a great time during our tour! It really spiced up our stay in Nice, we found out interesting informations and tips where to eat, we wouldn’t know oterhwise. Rafael really did our stay more interesting in Nice.
Our guide Rafael was truly amazing. Well informed, courteous, polite and very helpful. He made us totally familiar with Nice.
A great way to start to get to know Old Nice. The history, influence, culture, and language. Kathryn was really clear in her explanation and pay each and every member in the walk individual attention! Really enjoyed this walking tour. Not too taxing. Pace is good!
We had a great tour today with tour leader rafael mother. He was a great tour leader. He knew tons about Nice and made the tour both interesting and fun. Highly recommend
We took the walking tour of Nice with Rafael and had a great time! He was very friendly and engaging and had a lot of interesting information and tips regarding the city. He took us through the vegetable, flower market and gave us some free time to explore. He always pointed out where we could refill our water bottles and find bathrooms! I’m so glad we did this on our first day, as we saw many interesting & beautiful places that we went back later to revisit. Definitely a must do!! Thank you Rafael & best of luck to you!
Kate was a lovely guide. We learner a lot and enjoyed the tour. The tour was 2.5 hours, giving a really good overview of the city, with good tips about places we can visit on our own
I did the Free Walking Tour of Nice on Saturday with Lucas . He was a brilliant guide and storyteller. We had a 20 min stop in the market and later another short stop at Azzuro for ice cream . Best ice cream ever! . We climbed up steps to the waterfall and it was well worth the walk. Amazing view and cool breezes . Really enjoyable morning. Thanks Lucas
This was a great way to get a quick tour of old Nice. Between the architecture, the market vendors, and the views from the old fort it was an easy and enjoyable walk. Polina did a great job of hitting the highlights of the city. Highly recommend the tour and Polina!
I took the free walking tour on a Tuesday morning in Nice woth Eleanna. She is an amazing guide. She keept a good voice tone and speed, she answered questions, she gave ua time for pictures and even snack break. I recomend
I am glad that we decided to join the free walking tour the very last minute. Communication was very efficient, we got accepted without previous booking. And our guide Natalia- young, very positive and happy girl was really nice. We definitely left Nice knowing more about it. Yes, 1860 forever in our minds ;DD And “the end quiz” is a very good idea! Highly recommend. Labai rekomenduoju.
The walking tour route is very well thought through - it was a great combination of having a route that covers a lot but also with frequent breaks and a relatively relaxed pace to be able to take in and explore the different sights. Our tour guide Lukas was great - he had a good mix of sharing information on the tour, but also recommendations for restaurants and tips on places to go, and his own opinions. There were also some entertaining stories about bank robberies, Elton John etc. so it didn't feel like all a history lesson! We did the free tour scheduled on Saturdays (you pay what you feel it was worth at the end) - would highly recommend to anyone visiting Nice, do it early on in your trip as an introduction to the city.
Wow Nica ishte shume e bukur, por Natalia e beri edhe me interesante me entuziazmin e saj. Faleminderit shume nga ana e saj, i rekomdandoj te gjithe atyre qe duan te shohin dhe te mesojn per historin e Nice. Merci beaucoup Natalia i appreciate you!!! See you next time :)
Best tour ever Fun and very accurate Reccomend it to anyone not from nice Also a chance as a solo traveller to meet people
This was a great way to see and learn about the city! Natalia did our tour and she was super fun and excited about the history of the city. We learned a lot! It was a hot day out and she was accommodating, picking spots in the shade, etc. She also gave us recommendations of where to eat and other nearby towns to visit - this was our first full day in France, so that was very helpful. The tour isn’t overly long (2.5 hours) and is free. Highly recommend. (You do end up in a different place than you start, so be aware of that, but Natalia offered to bring us back to a point close to the start.)
It was a wonderful experience taking part in both the walking tour and the pub crawl! Great way for a solo traveller to meet new people and learn a great deal about the city. All of this because of a spectacular guide, Natalia! Very friendly, made sure everyone was having fun and overall a wonderful personality!
Amazing tour full of interesting and true facts!!! The guide Lukas was super friendly, caring and spoke English wondeefuly! This was Definitly the perfect choice! We saw all the best sports of the old town and the castle Its very well organized
Polina was super friendly and made our experience even better. She was so toughtful and made little snack breaks and showed us Nice trough her own eyes. Definetely do this tour on the first day. We made some important discoveries of what we needed troughout our trip.
It is the best way to visit the city. The tourguide was friendly and very prepared. Recommended for solo travelers also, I met the best people!
The free walking tour was great! Informative and with a friendly vibe. Our tour guide was Natalia and she was the perfect guide, she knew everything by heart and told us about the city in the best storytelling-way - always with a smile.
The tour was very great and our tourguide was so nice!! I would recommend it and would do it again;)
The walking tour was perfect mix of history, marvellous sightseeings and tremendously fancy spots in Nice. I really enjoyed it: Natalia, our guide, was cheeeful and passionate. I would definitely recommend!
It was not my first time in Nice but I decided to join a tour by curiosity and I have to say that I was definitely right. I did the free tour in English with Natalia and I learnt many interesting anecdotes about the main squares, characters and buildings that made the identity of Nice in a short amount of time. Also, the guide took her time to explain us everything, was interactive with us and we didn't feel stressed during the tour. So thank you for your recommandations and the discover of a city I thought I knew :)
The favorite part of this tour was the recitals of the history on each landmarks. although my tour guide, Natalia wasn’t from Nice, she thoroughly summarized all the details about the Palais de Justice, outdoor market, Russian Cathedral, Place Rossetti, and Fontaine du Soleil with the controversy on the Apollo Statue, etc…I will refer to my family and friends when they come to visit Nice one day. Thank you Natalia for giving me this opportunity to learn about Nice and hope to see you again.
I had the chance to take the free walking tour of Nice. It’s highly recommended. I learnt a lot off history and visited the top places at the city. Finally got great advices about what to do in the spare time. Jodie is an excellent guide, really cute and gentle.
I took the free walking tour on Monday, June 28, with Jodie. As I've always found to be the case with free walking tours, it was excellent! Jodie is very personable and really knows her stuff, and I really enjoyed talking to her. We even got to stop for ice cream and at the open-air market, which was awesome! I would highly recommend this tour! Also, please remember to tip generously! That's the way that these guides earn their money and they deserve every penny they receive and more!
My husband and I (both late 60s) joined Shawn and a delightful group of about 15 visitors from all around the world for a 2+-hour walking tour of Nice. It was grand! Shawn is charming and informative and told us a lot about the city. We learned oddles even though we are annual visitors to Nice. We would happily join Shawn on another tour! Highly recommend!
I did the free walking tour of Nice today, and it was really awesome! Our guide, Jody, was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, she showed us lots of cool spots around the city, and kept us entertained. I highly recommend you take this tour!
We did the walking tour on Monday. Well what can I say! It was fab. Mark was verinformative with local knowledge about Nice; the history, food recommendations and other places to visit - he also added some interesting stories. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. Thanks Mark.
We’ve been to the Free Walking Tour in Nice on Sunday morning and it was a very informative and interesting tour around Nice with nice stops such as Flower Market, Old Town, Colline de Chateau. It was crowded, we were around 40 people which did not really disturb me. I can really recommend.
For me free walking tour is always a good way to sightseeing around a place, due my experience at this kind of tour, I think they could improve the quality of the tours, Paula our guide was good, but she could have given us more information about somethings important in the city, and some of the information she provided weren’t totally right. Before I visit a place I search about the history and stories about that and I confess that I got disappointed. I know it’s a free tour but if they can improve probably they are going to attract more people and of course more tips.
We really enjoyed the walking tour. A mixture of history, culture, interesting stories, local food recommendations and some light hearted fun. Mark was excellent with tips for anything from day trips to local restaurants!
Rich was our guide today. A wonderful raconteur with interesting and amusing tales about Nice. Almost 3hours but was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend and not just to acquaint yourself with Nice.
I took the Tour in Niza in English and it was amazing with Paula!!! She is a very nice guide. She knows a lot about the city. She answered all of my questions, and gave a lot of tips of what to do and eat. I recommend this a lot!!!
The night walk tour was interesting! The building deemed significance when we knew the stories behind them. Our tour guide, Paula was very knowledgeable and friendly during the walk tour. It is free of charge and very beneficial to add to the Nice experience!
I did the free walking tour with Isabela last week and it was the best thing I could have done!!! This girl is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also super kind and helpful. Thanks to her out trip started in the best way possible!!! Thank you Isabela for the amazing tour!!!
Discovery of Nice at night with Isabela. Lights, art and culture. Good tips (musea and going out). A different tour than the day walk so you can do both!
I have never been to Côte d'Azur, so I thought it would be a good idea to acquainted myself with this beautiful city by taking a free walking tour. I've taken free walking tours in several European cities but none compared to this. Our tour guide Lili took us to places we would never have found on our own. She was passionate and very enthusiastic about the city, as a proper tour guide should be. Got to learn some interesting facts and stories about Nice. Loved the tour and would highly recommend it to other's. So if you want a great tour of Nice, don't mind burning off a few calories and the chance to maybe even make new friends, give the Free Walking Tour of Nice a go!
Amazing tour guide! Really knew the area and suited the group, gave us time to look around and do stuff, 10/10
Our tour guide Damir was great, he is very fond of France and he showed a great deal of knowledge of the region and its culture. Damir actually helped us a lot during our sightseeing.
The free walking tour was excellent would highly recommend! A good distance was covered and hit all the main sites, as well as ample rest breaks. Darmir our tour guide was fantastic, knew lots about the city and have a nice brief history. He was very friendly and gave lots of good tips. Thanks!
We bumped into de group when the tour just began, but the guide let us join anyway. It was completely worth ir! Very fun stories and visited amazing places. Our guide, Rich, definitely knows a lot and makes the tour very pleasant!
Isabella was our guide and she was absolutely amazing and very nice. We started at the old Town of nice and ended on the castle hill with a nice view over Nice. She gave us many recommendations regarding general things to do around the French Riviera and the best places to get some food. If you are looking a nice overview over the old Town, we can definitely recommend you to do this tour!
