Provence Countryside Small Group Day Trip With Grasse Perfumery Visit From Nice

What a fabulous day we had exploring Canne, Grasse, Gourdon, and St. Paul de Vence! The weather was gorgeous with each stop we enjoyed beautiful scenery and experiences. Our tour guide, Adrienn, was a delight! Her knowledge of the Cote de Azure region and France (as a whole) was truly amazing and appreciated! What a lovely day in south western France - we couldn’t have planned a better day! Thank you Adrienn for your engagement, professionalism, and friendship😊🇫🇷😊🇫🇷😊!!!

Catia our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly and informative. St. Paul Vincent and Gourdon were beautiful.

Although the tour was moved from Tuesday to Friday, it was a superb tour. Largely because of our guide Pasquale. He was informative, a delight to be with and very accommodating to our needs.

The tour was very well organized - and very interesting . The mini bus was new and comfortable- our tour guide Pasquel was polite, knowledgeable,upbeat and a complete joy!!!

We had a great time, our guide Ian provided a great day for us. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. We are able to visit several villages and a really amazing waterfall!

Our guide was the best part for the trip. Pasqual is the best. St Paul is one of the most beautiful places to see.

Our guide Adrianne was simply wonderful. The Mercedes van was very comfortable given that there were only two couples on this day. Our guide picked us up on time at our hotel and also dropped us off very close to all the major sites. Adrianne was very knowledgeable and was also able to answer all our questions in English very well. The amount of free time at each site was perfect and we returned to our hotel on time. We highly recommend this tour if you wish to see the Nice hinterland and its amazing scenery and towns.

Great experience on all the places. Some reviews have said no need to go to Cannes but we had a great time there. It is different than the small towns but the views of the city, beaches, and hotels are worth it. Marlon was great driver and guide. He was super knowledgeable about all the towns. We were picked up promptly by monsieur Antoine in a clean and very comfortable van. He was very informative and friendly- he was able to communicate very nicely with two teenagers and keep them interested in the tour! His English was immaculate. Our trip included Cannes, Grasse and Téo fantastic Provence villages in the mountains- Gourdon and St.Paul de Vance. Just absolutely gorgeous and well worth the trip. We highly recommend this trip and this tour guide:)

Had a great day out with Stefan as our driver and guide. He couldn't have been more attentive and had an excellent knowledge of Cannes, Grasse, Gourdon and Saint Paul de Vence and everywhere in between. Nothing was too much trouble and any instructions he gave us (e.g. meeting places, times etc) were clear and appropriate. If you do a tour with this company and are lucky enough to get Stefan then you're assured of a great experience.

Thierry was our fabulous, funny informative, caring and captivating guide. He has such an expansive wealth of knowledge and joyously delivered engaging answers to anything group members asked. Our family of Mum, Dad and two young adults all immensely enjoyed an exceptionally delightful day which included a tremendous balance of seriously breath-taking views, and amazing sites which were both interesting and dazzling. The old cliffside villages; absolutely awesome! The timing at each stop was just right for sight seeing eating and shopping (if preferred), and we all agreed that every stop, including the fascinating perfumery, was well with the visit. Thanks for a brilliant day Thierry. A true highlight of our holiday.

Loved finding perfume that was best for me. It was so cool learning it. Seeing other towns in the area was fantastic.

This full day trip took in a great mix of the variety of Provence sites. From the glamour of Cannes, perfumes of Grasse to beautiful quaint old villages

We had a lovely day in Provence! The group paired with my husband & I for our tour cancelled, so we ended up with our own private tour on the last day of our honeymoon!! Overall, the van was very comfortable. All of the stops we made were beautiful. We loved the perfumery, the villages, and got some amazing photos! Definitely would recommend if you’re staying on the beach and want a day to see the countryside, I’d say it’s worth it!

Be careful - they’ll forget to pick you up & blame the system’s date messing up. We had our whole week planned accordingly, and it was a bummer they messed this day up for us.

Pick up at hotel and return to hotel so you can truly relax all day and not worry about traffic. Small group makes it very intimate so you never feel like being part of a herd! Guide was a local who is very well informed. His English was impeccable because he was born in the UK.

There are a lot of interesting sites we were brought to within one day. The tour guide was very friendly and knew a lot of facts about the local region.

The guide was nice but could have telled us more about the surroundings during the car drives, instead he often turned on loud music.

The title says it all. At first I expected a run of the mill tour, you oooh and aahhh and point and take pictures. This tour was not that at all. Our tour guide Kad, was amazing. He was knowledgable about all of the locations we visited and would add in some great trivia facts about sights as well. He was witty and funny and made the experience an amazing one, while at the same time keeping us on schedule to see the most of everything on the tour. Never in my life did I expect to see such beautiful towns and landscapes. From breathtaking mountain top villages like Gourdon and Saint Paul de Vence to secret lavender fields hidden in the mountains. Truly spectacular. The Fragonard perfume factory in Grasse was also fantastic where you are able to see the historical process of perfume making and purchase smells of your hearts' desire, AMAZING!!! Thank you Kad for making this experience one of a lifetime of memories. I will never forget the beautiful sights, sounds, and smells I experienced on the tour.

I think it’s good to know that this Viator is very reliable! They are on time for the trip. The tour guide is friendly and it’s make the trip fun. And I felt safe too! We loved the trip.

It was a really nice day! The time went by fast. Pierre was great. Safe driver who shared a lot of great regional information. All the towns we visited were super lovely.

This was a really great day trip full of different things and interests. Nora was our driver/guide and she was great and very informative. I loved visiting the hill villages as well as seeing the perfume factory in Grasse and the sweet and jam factory. Highly recommend this trip

The tour was wonderful, despite rain! Because of the small group, our guide Thierry could be flexible, for example, taking us to the costume museum instead of the perfume factory tour. Thierry displayed excellent knowledge, grace, and thoughtfulness.

One of the best trip had. Our guide Nora was very knoledgeble, friendly, it was a pleasure to have her as guide. Provence is gorgeous, the villages visited are full of history, very pitoresque, full of colours and art. The landsvape is fabulos. We definetly will return.

Enjoyed our trip through the country side visiting medieval villages. It’s nice to see how the folks go with their daily lives. I know it makes me appreciate life. Nora our tour guide is excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. Excellent tour guide.

Small group is so much more enjoyable to be visiting and driving around. The last stop was too short so a better planning is needed.

Loved the towns of Gourdon and St Paul de Vence. Did not care for Cannes or the perfume factory visit in Grasse. Would have preferred to spend the entire day in Gourdon & St. Paul de Vence instead. Our driver Terry, was very professional and navigated the narrow roadways extremely well, but would have liked to have been given more info about the history and info about the areas we visited. He also made us reservations at a lovely restaurant in Gourdon which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The towns we visited were amazing as was the countryside we travelled, but our guide Thierey was what made our day! Such a knowledgeable person with much detail about the history of the places we toured. It made it so enjoyable to have the extra information. He was very supportive as well, to get me in and out of the vehicle due to my knee. So patient and accommodating. Overall though a magnificent day. Highly recommend to anyone who wishes a great tour of South of France Provence....

Our guide took the time to give each individual special attention. History and commentary were excellent. Very courteous, patient and humorous. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend.

Great communication from Tour Azur in the lead up and post tour. I enjoyed our small group and made some lovely friends on the day. I liked seeing the mountainous areas of Provence, which I’d not be able to get to myself. Franciska was a great guide and went out of her way to make our day special.

Rolf was an excellent guide , very informative. Got to go on stage at Cannes, had a wonderful meal in Aix en Provence.

We had a great time on this day trip - we were able to visit several beautiful and interesting small towns and viewpoints that would have been very difficult to get to on our own. Our tour guide Eric had interesting stories and facts to share about the history of each location. Would definitely recommend!

Great guide and enjoyable day. Would have liked a little more time in Grasse at the perfumery rather than Gourdon but I’m sure others would have preferred it the other way.

David was A fantastic tour guide that advised us well all the way and it was a highlight of my holiday . Davis is an excellent driver , very attentive and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone that would like to see the country side around Nice .

The amazing views and small mountain towns. An absolute must see. Our driver, Tolf, was excellent too with some fantastic local stories.

Tour Azure rang me 10pm, night before the tour to say they have cancelled the tour. Do not recommend Tour Azure, unreliable. I now have to wait for my refund

This was an amazing trip! Thierry has been amazing with us, showing us some little gems that were not on the list but worth it. He's been very sociable, fun and very knowledgeable. I totally recommend this trip. Side note: Cannes is very much overrated and frankly does not need to be included in the trip (it was our group's agreement) but thankfully it wasn't that much time spent there.
