Private Driver/guide To Monaco, Monte-carlo And Eze Village

We had an absolutely wonderful 1 day private tour from Nice to Èze, Monaco and Villefranche-sur-Mer with our guide Stephan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Stephan picked us up at 9 am with a big smile and a spacious, air-conditioned vehicle. Right from the beginning, he made us feel super welcome, rather than simply following a fixed itinerary, he asked what we were most interested in seeing and tailored the day around our wishes – including my dad‘s particular interest in exploring more of Monaco’s famous Formula 1 circuit. What made the experience memorable was how thoughtfully Stephan looked after everyone in our family. We were travelling in a group of four with two family members with limited mobility who weren’t able to manage all the uphill walking in Èze. Stephan handled this beautifully, adjusting the route so everyone could enjoy the spectacular views, while those who wanted to explore further had plenty of time to do so. Meanwhile, the others could relax at a lovely café with an incredible view. Nobody ever felt rushed or left out. In Monaco and Monte Carlo, everything was equally effortless. Stephan took us right to the places we wanted to see, explained the sights, shared fascinating stories and always gave us enough time to explore at our own pace. Even our lunch break was completely relaxed – Stephan recommended a cosy little restaurant in a quiet side street and simply checked in to see whether we were ready to continue or preferred another coffee! On our way back to Nice, we stopped in beautiful Villefranche-sur-Mer, where we enjoyed a lovely aperitif at a little restaurant right by the harbour. It was the perfect way to end an already wonderful day. What really made this tour special was Stephan himself. He has such a warm, genuine and engaging personality, and his stories and sense of humour kept us entertained throughout the day. We shared so many laughs together that it felt less like being on an organised tour and more like spending the day with a wonderful local friend. The value for money of this tour is truly excellent. We can fully recommend Stephan - if you’re looking for a private tour of the French Riviera that feels personal, relaxed and genuinely memorable, he’s your guys!

This was a wonderful tour, our favourite for the holiday, mainly due to our amazing driver Laurent. He was very kind, professional and organised while still being very friendly and flexible. He had lots of great ideas and really bought everything to life for us. The different stops were all beautiful and we had just enough time at each place. It's a great tour to see a lot in one day. We had the most amazing time exploring Monaco with the help of Sabine. She is so knowledgable and showed my family and I beautiful viewpoints, recommended amazing bars/restaurants, and helped us learn so history about France and Monaco. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Sabine was THE BEST GUIDE EVER! So kind, so accommodating, so professional and so knowledgeable about the entire French Riviera! Our family of four had an incredible day starting with our pickup at our Airbnb in Antibes to a trip to Monaco with stops along the way for the scenic views. After touring Princess Grace’s garden, we made it in time for the changing of the guard, and then drove to Monte Carlo where we went inside the atrium of the casino, then ate the most delectable pastries at the Hotel de Paris, and walked along the water and part of the Formula 1 track, stopping at Eze for a perfume factory tour, incredible gardens, and drinks overlooking the sea at Chateau Chèvre D’Or. Sabine was so kind and personable. We would highly recommend Sabine for any tours - she really went out of her way to provide the best tour experience for us. Thank you for all your recommendations, Sabine, and for making our time in Monaco and Eze so memorable!

Ruben was incredible! Showed us more than we expected; amazing sites, booked a wonderful lunch place, provided great recommendations during and after the tour. This is a must do! Ask for Ruben!

We had a great time with Francis! The perfume tour was parfait, the walk up to the exotic gardens was stunning (would have been nice to have know it would be an extra 10 euro, but well worth it). Definitely a hike so not for those who cannot walk. Driving the Monaco race track was very cool and watching the changing of the guards at the Monaco Palace was great. Seeing casino royale needed little time and was perfect. Definitely would recommend this half day tour, well worth the price!

Our tour guide Vassili was awesome and took us from our hotel in Nice to Eze and Monaco and back in his Mercedes Van. A 5 hour unforgettable experience. Highly recommended👍

Right from the start the communication with the despatcher was continuous with prompt response answering all the questions. But the real thing that stood out was the guide/ driver Kate; A very pleasant , knowledgeable, intellectual lady who came on time and took us around and we would not have enjoyed our stay in Nice and surroundings without her . Our driver, Michael, was extremely well versed in his knowledge of the locale and its history. He had an open itinerary so we were able to add or skip sites depending upon our interests. Most importantly he was an excellent driver which can be a challenge in some areas.

We had a great time with Marcos. He was a fantastic driver and he was very knowledgeable about the sites. He made sure to show us where to go and give us a pick up time and never rushed. We enjoyed his tour! I would definitely recommend Marcos for your tour guide.

Had a lovely day travelling from Nice to Monte Carlo with Michael from Star tours. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and had a travelling group of strangers becoming friends by the end of the trip. Nothing was too much and this trip is highly recommended and Michael is a credit to Star tours and will definitely be using them again on my next trip.

Michael was an excellent tour guide. Picked up our party of 8 directly at the port and let us customize our tour. He was very accommodating all day long and explained so much history of all the locations. Our group ranged from 56 years old to 75 and we all enjoyed our day! Made a quick stop at the perfume factory and he was sure to get us back to the tender in time. Highly recommend. Young and old.

Vass is simply one of the best tour guides we ever had in our many years of travel in the world ~ his passion and enthusiasm in sharing the history and culture of the places we were visiting were immediately evident from the start of our trip till the end. He was extremely polite, helpful (making sure we don’t miss the small window of opportunity for the changing of guards) & educational - sharing local tips with us including making a lunch reservation for us at a very tiny one-man restaurant inside old Monaco (that we may not possibly notice on our own!) and remain thoughtful to our needs - we felt comfortable with him throughout. His driving skills were excellent despite the winding roads and we felt completely safe during the entire trip! Just an amazing Tour, it gives you a great idea of the area, breathtaking views in just a few hours. The trip was an extraordinary experience which originated from our Nice hotel and guided by Sameer. It covered Monaco, Eze, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Saint Paul mediaval village. Sameer was thorough with all the historical details of each place as well as answered all our queries. It was a truly marvelous experience which will be etched in our mind for years to come. It was exceptional, Nathan our guide was super nice and polite. We learned a lot from culture history gastronomy and a bit of gossip too. We had a few laughs along the way. Very nice experience

The tour, from 2 to 7 pm on a Sunday, easily exceeded our expectations, in large part due to the highly competent and entertaining conduct of the tour by "Nathan" (our driver and guide),who knows the area extremely well and has been leading it for years. We were 4 couples in a comfortable vehicle. The tour design is great as it allows a full hour in Eze and in Monaco, plus 45 minutes in Monte Carlo, entirely on your own; there's ample time to learn about the area and have individual questions answered by the guide during the driving time between these places. My wife and I have no hesitation in recommending the tour to others wanting to see locations outside Nice.

Our driver / guide, Robin did an excellent job of showing us the highlights of Eze and its spectacular views and gardens, the palace, the casino as well as the Formula 1 circuit of Monaco / Monte Carlo. Highly recommend this tour as well as our well informed local guide Robin.

Laurent was wonderful. He was punctual, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He was also very flexible and great at coordinating visits to areas of interest and a gorgeous lunch spot he recommended for us. This tour with him was perfect!! Thanks, Laurent!

Our driver/guide was super friendly and helpful. He picked us up at our hotel and stopped along the way for pictures. He dropped us at the specific locations and was flexible about pick up times and moving things around when needed. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was that you really need to research the sites yourself to know what you want to do as much of the trip is a guide yourself excursion.

Parfait our tour guide is top notch!!!! He explained throughout the journey, every single detail that we pass-by throughout the car journey too. Super friendly and on time. He goes that extra mile for his customer. It’s been a fantastic and informative tour. Highly recommend

Our tour guide came in to the hotel and asked for us, we did not have to wait outside in the heat, he was on time wich was amazing. Very knowledgeable, confident and well spoken guide he knew all the history and answered all our questions. What was amazing about our tour guide ( Parfait) is that he took his time at every stage to make sure we are comfortable and wanted to make sure we are very well looked after. On the journey he was very keen to understand everything we needed to know about the trip so he could deliver our expectations. We enjoyed this so so much. Parfait was so flexible he even collected us from a different location not the one we agreed on, good communication throughout the journey. Highly recommend him.
