Original Nice City Tour ( Pedicab-vélo Taxi)

Our escort, Christopher, was the tops! He was able to bring us to places the Viking bus was too large to drive & explained many local facts since he lives in Nice! Our tour was great & he brought us to a fine restaurant close to the Marriott after the tour so we could stroll back after dinner.

A friend and I booked this excursion through our cruise line and it was called “Buzzing Around in Nice.” We had a driver (who was excellent) on an electric bike who drove us on a really fun, narrated ride through the downtown, beachfront, markets and other sites. We stopped at 3 high-end bars for drinks and food at each stop (included in excursion price). Seriously, could not smiling the whole time because it was so fun. Kind of pricey, but worth it. Definitely one of the best excursions I’ve ever done on any cruise (10+). Highly recommended!

Perfect way to spend an hour. Lots of interesting facts and history explained whilst watching beautiful Nice. Christophe was sensible at adapting the time due to the intense heat. Recommend doing this to give you your bearings, whether you’ve visited before.

Our guide was on time. He provided information about the city and an overview of Nice and some of the historical architecture and outdoor art displays. Very personable and friendly. Well worth the time and money.

Wonderful tour…should be taken on the first day of arrival in Nice. It will give a birds eye view of the city and help plan future activities. Christopher was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable

Perfect way to get a feeling of the city of Nice! We did the one hour tour and it was great to see all of the interesting points along the water and in Old Town. Our driver was knowledgeable and professional. We communicated via what’s app to meet up for our tour. He picked us up from where we were having lunch and took off. We even contacted him later that night to take us to dinner and home. Would recommend doing this early in your stay in Nice to help get your bearings and decide where you want to focus the rest of your day/trip.

Wonderful Nice city Tour with Carlos. An in depth venture across the city and tourist attractions. Carlos had great knowledge and also there was an audio recording on facts on the city. Highly recommended.

Very much enjoyed our pedicab tour of Nice with Christophe. He took us all over the city, shared interesting and historic facts and showed us some spots with great views. We took great pics. He also had restaurant recommendations we plan to try. We would recommend touring with Christophe. -

I enjoyed my my hour's Grand Tour with Christophe very much. So interesting to see Nice from the vantage point of a velo taxi. Christophe confirmed my reservation and my hotel for pickup. He was right on time, charming and full of information. From cruising on the Promenade d'Anglais to the narrow little streets of Vieux Nice, every minute was great. Highly recommended.

The tour was very interesting but it was hard to hear the driver’s comments sometimes, depending on which direction he turned his head to speak. He was a very nice man.

We chose this tour as the pickup and drop off was at the hotel and my partner has slight breathing problems so can struggle with walking too far. A great way to see the central part of Nice, the Port and old town even if you don’t have a problem with walking distances. The rickshaw style bike was comfortable and gave great access to the cycle lanes and small back streets with an excellent tour guide pointing out the key sites and providing interesting information and background. The only reason for not giving the trip 5* is that it was very windy along the seafront.

Christopher was a real gentleman and made us feel so safe on our first (mom and daughter) trip to Nice.....

Christophe took us for an afternoon tour around Nice and was absolutely fantastic. He gave us a great overview of Nice’s history and culture, had some great recommendations, and even dropped us off at a classic car show upon hearing about our interest in cars. A must do if you’re visiting Nice!

Our driver pushed our tour back twice and we ended up starting over an hour later than was planned. Because of this, we missed the sunset he had promised for us to see. We weren’t able to stop at the famous I Love Nice sign because it was so crowded by then and it was completely dark. Many of the places we stopped, the driver would mention that we needed to come back in the morning to actually see it. I was expecting there would be nighttime things to see and not just telling us to check it out in the daytime. The driver also drove us through very busy streets and would beep at people to move. It was very embarrassing and we had people mocking us throughout. The tour also only lasted 45 mins. I was very disappointed by the whole experience, especially since it cost $50 each. I don’t recommend.

We asked for 2 bikes to take us to a restaurant, Chris and Olivier were so nice and the ride was so amazing that we immediately booked them again to pick us up. They let us hook our phones to their speakers so that we could choose our own music, were very friendly and made sure we got the best views. We and our kids had the most amazing time. Felt like a ride with friends. Definitely will be coming back!

Would recommend, friendly and informative guides, and a nice break from walking on a hot day! We did the half hour tour, could have happily stayed for the hour of time had permitted.

I already wrote a glowing review of Christophe, our tour guide, but I need to add to that review. Not only was this a GREAT way to see the scope of Nice, but as we drove around, he recommended a few restaurants. We found the first few he recommends to be our favorites, and as a result, we cancelled all our other dinner reservations and only went to the restaurants he recommended.

Christopher knows where the best coffee is. His skill at navigating through traffic bollards is second to none. I now know where Elton John's house is. A few great churches thrown in too. Overall a great hour - highly recommended!

Our tour guide was amazing! My mother has trouble walking and he was very generous with his time by meeting us at our hotel to pick us up and dropping us off directly at the tram, so she wouldn’t have to walk very far. He took us through Old Nice and explained the history which was fascinating to us. Great experience!

Utter plague of these cycle cabs and tours turning randomly across pedestrians without a single consideration for others. To be exterminated at the first opportunity. Avoid at all cost. Use your legs and walk this beautiful city.

The best way to see the city! Private tour in little bike ensures driving around the narrow city streets and in to other areas that a big bus won’t fit. Our guide was a gem, Igor, with extensive knowledge and fantastic command of the English language! He was funny and entertaining aswell as full of interesting tidbits of information, like Napoleon riding to his apartment! I know you can’t pick and choose your guide but if you are fortunate enough to secure Igor you are guaranteed a treat.

Really enjoyed this trip through the New and Old Town. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped back off there. Very informative and Christopher pointed out all the interesting parts and history of the areas. Would highly recommend.

Such a wonderful tour! This was a great way to see the main sites, and our guide had very interesting information about them all. He also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants to try and other sites we should see. And for the price, it was a great deal!

I took the 90 minute Grand Tour today. Guide was Ludwig. The tour was well worth the money. Ludwig was a very professional hard working guide. His English is very good and he gave full explanation of all sites we visited. This was such an enjoyable afternoon thanks to Ludwig’s knowledge and skill navigating many very tight places. I strongly recommend Vèlo as a way to see many parts of this city. I’m a tourist from the USA.

Loved this more than expected. Christof was pleasant, informative, and spoke great English. He was even able to manage the pedicab through the narrower Old Town village where cars aren’t allowed. It was wonderful to cover so many worthy sights while someone else did the peddling. Highly recommend

We did their 2hr tour our 1st day to get oriented with the city and see things we might want to visit later. They were so good we used them as our taxi to the beach whole week! Picked up in 10min max

Brilliant trip round Nice. Picked up from hotel, sat back and saw Nice. Everything explained, history learnt, restaurants pointed out by our very friendly pedal cyclist doing all the work. Ideal to do when you first arrive so you quickly get your bearings and find out what and where you want to go back to. Thank you for a lovely tour.

Did 1hr 8pm tour, with hotel pickup. Had Hyatt concierge confirm p/u & everything was set. Our driver/guide Eric was on time & friendly & English was great. He gave great recommendations of must eats/sees during the tour . We even stopped for ice cream at the best place in nice.. oooh so good. Thanks Eric!

l had my family in Nice on holiday from AUSTRALIA and spoke to OLIVIER in the morning and asked him to organise a tour for that afternoon but l needed two more bike carts as there were 7 of us. Olivier turned up on time with his buddies and gave us the best sight tour of Nice you could wish for and my Grandsons loved it.
