Wonderful experience! Learned a lot and enjoyed seeing behind the scenes and tasting foods special to Nice!
Araceli was wonderful. She is so personable and her love for European history made for a fantastic and informative experience. The food was fantastic and her explanation of what we were seeing made for such a memorable experience. I highly recommend this experience.
We did an awesome walking / food tour of Nice during our free evening. Our guide Elea was amazing - super knowledgeable, personable, and a great guide. We got to try tasty local foods such as olive oils, cheeses, and the local favorite, Socca. There was wine at several of the stops too. Definitely recommend if you want food, drinks, and some history in a ~3 hour window. Thanks for the memories on our honeymoon!
We had a wonderful evening food tour with Lena. It was nice sampling all the local dishes. Great food and a nice city tour!
A really excellent experience. Rachel was friendly, knowledgeable and took us to some great places. The quality of food was absolutely fantastic as well. Would highly recommend.
A delicious way to experience the French Riviera! Our food tour with Elea took us through a wonderful variety of tastings: chocolates, olive oil, a Swiss chard and cheese appetizer, cheese and wine, and local socca. We loved sampling the local specialties, with a little something sweet and savory along the way. A memorable addition to our trip and a fun way to explore the French Riviera through its food. Come hungry! Food tour was 3 hours
Not worth the money You get one chocolate bite Olive oil tasteing 😣 The worst red vine glas And then dry tost with tapenade And some chikepee bread and we paid over 700$ for 6 people
Ara was our guide. She was fantastic and she provided a balanced blend of history/culture and delicious food at beautiful venues. We had small, enthusiastic group that felt like long time friends. We lingered afterwards, delaying our goodbyes. Merci beaucoup Ara! It was a wonderful night!!
Great way to see the city, hear some history have some fun tastings. And Ara was great!
A lovely evening with wonderful hosting by Isabel. The food, history & education all added up to a delightful evening..
Very nice experience. Isabelle was wonderful, and we were exposed to local cuisine that we would have otherwise missed (like socca). A good way to see Nice (and it was a lot of food).
Ara was very sweet. The food selections were excellent!! We liked learning about the olives nd truffle.
Excellent accommodation Elia was fantastic
Elia was a superb guide! So knowledgeable & she’s a native of Nice. Loves her town! Very much enjoyed her narrative!
My friend and I had the most amazing time tasting an assortment of different types of food across Old Nice! Our guide, Isabell, was the best part about the tour. Her knowledge about Nice, the city, the restaurants and all the surrounding areas was impressive to say the least; so much so that it will encourage you to want to learn more about Nice’s rich history. Isabell’s kind and patient attitude made the experience that much better and the food that much tastier 😋 If you have the opportunity to do this tour, please do yourself a favor and do it! You won’t be disappointed!
This was a great way to get to know Nice, its food, and its history. Isabelle was a wonderful guide who provided thoughtful facts and tips while walking around. We tried several local places we never would have picked ourselves.
Our guide Isabelle was amazing! The absolute best!

Isabella was the best guide. I cannot thank her enough for her phenomenal knowledge, kindness, history and taking us to see beautiful views of Nice! You have to have Isabella because she’s the sweetest and you will enjoy! The walk is no joke so make sure you have the right footwear on! Despite the long walk, it was an amazing experience!

Isabelle made this is experience an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend her especially with her knowledge.
What a great tour! Elea was so friendly and engaging. It was like spending time with a friend. She knew all the local spots to give up a chance to experience a genuine Nice food adventure. We were stuffed by the evening's end!
Our tour guide Isabelle was great! We started off at a coffee shop and then did an olive oil tasting, then enjoyed wine and cheese, followed by traditional Nice dishes like socca, and ended with gelato! I thought that the amount of food was good for the value and I thought our tour guide was great! The food itself was decent but I wasn’t totally blown away. I did really enjoy the olive oil tasting though. The trip all in all took about 3 hours and it was only my husband and I so our guide was able to chat with us a lot and provide us with a lot of historical information about Nice and general recommendations.
I wonderful evening with Elea! Not only did we experience some great local cuisine, we also were exposed to some interesting local history!
We had a wonderful SUNSET food tour of Nice with Do Eat Better. Our Guide was exceptionally good. Her name was Isobel and she was a pocket rocket. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She led around the town to try local delicacies of Glace fruit in an exquisite shop, a special tasting of olive oils at Oliviers & Co (well worth a visit) then we weaved our way through the old town to a fabulous Fromagerie Epicerie called LA PECHE A LA VIGNE. We tried some local wine paired with some samples of their delicious cheese. Lastly we had a light dinner with some local foods and wine. It was an informative and interesting tour and it is highly recommended. You need to be able to walk a fair distance so some level of fitness and agility desirable. Good shoes too. This tour meets at 5pm and goes for over 2 hours.
A must do in Nice Isabelle was an incredible guide. You get to try authentic nice cuisine that you wouldn’t normally go for.
Great tour of Vieux Nice with delicious food. We made 4 stops with multiple tastings at all. Felt like a full meal by the end.
We had a great time on this tour! The food and drinks were delicious and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Walking. Drinking. Eating. Yea.
Isabelle was a very considerate tour guide who took care to explain both the city history and the meals and how they related to Nice as we toured. Good pace and amount of food, as well as a good variety.
Isabelle was the best! She was so hospitable and welcoming.

Great experience with Vanessa! Upbeat and full of knowledge. It was a great time!
This was one of the best food tours I've ever taken. Leo was a great host! The food choices were great and varied.
Informal stroll around the old town and port with Leo, mixing interesting facts with good food and wine.
Good tour overall. Helps that we had a friendly group. Tour guide was organised and informative, locations were interesting, tastings were great. Solid amount of distance covered too.
Our sunset tour of Nice with Isabel from Do Eat Better on Sunday was truly excellent from start to finish. The pacing felt just right—relaxed but never dragging—and each stop was thoughtfully chosen. We especially loved beginning at the candy shop, which was a fun and memorable way to kick things off. Queen Victoria was a fan! Another highlight was the olive oil and local products store, which was an absolute gem. Learning that the same family has owned it for six generations made the experience even more special—it’s genuinely a must-visit. One thing worth noting is that the specific stops may vary depending on the day, so each tour might be a little different. That said, every place we visited was wonderful, and the variety added to the charm. Isabel was fantastic—very knowledgeable, with excellent English, and she was also kind enough to accommodate some French conversation, which we appreciated. The portions at each stop were generous, and the pacing allowed for a great balance between tasting and exploring. A particularly nice touch was that the aperitif stop and the dinner stop gave us plenty of time to relax and chat with the other people on the tour. That extra time for conversation really added to the fun and created a warm, convivial atmosphere. I also have a tree nut allergy, and Isabel handled this with great care and attention. She clearly pointed out the two items I needed to avoid and, in both cases, thoughtfully provided alternative options. This was especially appreciated, as I’ve previously found that food allergies aren’t always taken seriously in France. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
Araceli was wonderful! Very informative and tasted some wonderful tastes of Nice.
Vanessa was awesome. We had a great time.
Plenty of food, great variety. Good information on the history of Nice. Would recommend this tour
We were extremely pleased and fortunate to have Vanessa as our tour guide. She provided a very personable and informative tour of not only great food spots but of Nice’s history and architecture. The various shop owners were very gracious and the food and drink was excellent. This tour was well worth the fee and a great introduction to Nice. Vanessa also provided suggestions for other authentic dining options . Highly recommend! You will not be hungry at the tour’s end.
Lovely taste of Nice, thanks to Isabella. Enjoyed the chocolate, candied Clementine, the olive oil oil tasting, lots of food at dinner, including socca and onion pizza. Lovely shops with helpful owners. Everything was special.
