Isabell was our guide for our lunchtime tour around Nice. She was very knowledgeable and engaging about the history of Nice and its cuisine. And because our group was just my husband and I, we were able to relax and get acquainted. It was a rainy day but we had fun despite the weather. The business proprietors also were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was good at each stop. Our favorite stop was the wine shop where we sampled three delightful French wines. In all, we made five stops and I think we enjoyed a lovely sampling of what Nice has to offer with an experienced guide.

This food experience is AMAZING! We adored Vanessa, our guide. She is knowledgeable and engaging. The tour includes places we would not have visited on our own. It was also fun to have the attention of the shopkeeps, who took time and gave us lots of attention. It was a great experience and a worthwhile way to spend a few hours, getting "introduced" to Nice. Thank you, Vanessa, for such a fun way to spend time!
This tour was amazing, the food was delicious and we learned so much more about the city. Our tour guide Araceli was so wonderful and made the experience so fun. Great way to eat good food and get to experience Nice!
We had the pleasure to have Bruno as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He shared lots of history and stories of the places we visited. All the shops had its own unique story.
Very good tour eating and drinking local food
Excellent tour to get the tastes and history of the area. Ara was a superb guide and made it extra special.
Ara was an amazing tour guide! A must do tour to get the flavor of Nice!
Bruno was amazing! Definitely do!
Araceli was fantastic. Such a great experience and got to see so many parts of the city. Would absolutely recommend A+++
Elea was knowledgeable about Nicoise history and chose wonderful local food shops. Highly recommend this tour! Merci
Elea was a joy! She was knowledgeable and took our tour to some amazing restaurants in Nice that we would not have been able to find otherwise! Will take this tour next time we are in Nice!
Our guide was very friendly, we enjoyed the food and the different spots the tour took us to.
It was PHENOMENAL! Everything was really superb! Aritell (spelling?) the Tour Lead was so wonderful!
This is a must do! I recommend it at the start of your visit to Nice to learn about the 200+ Nicoise specialties then allow yourself time to explore them throughout your stay. Rachel was fabulous and knew everything about each stop along the way. Olive oil and truffles, apéritifs, full lunch and then many sweet treats. Just perfect!
Elea was a wonderful guide! It was a very small group so we had a chance to learn about her hometown of Nice on a personal level. The stops were good with no pressure to purchase anything. We were definitely full by the end of our walk. Highly recommend!
Ara was a great guide to a of great food and tons of history information. Food was delish and they were able to accommodate for some allergies. Great way to see the city and try the local cuisine.
Ara was a really wonderful and personable guide. She shared so much information and anecdotes about the history and cuisine of Nice. Would highly recommend!
Wonderful experience! Easy to book, worth the price and our guide was extremely personable, friendly and knowledgeable of the history.
Ara was awesome and very knowledgeable. We got very authentic food and stopped by many places we would not have know about! We had a great time!! Highly recommend
Pleasant food tour sampling olive oils, vinegars, chocolates, ice cream, wine, appetizers, and lunch including soccer at various stops that incorporate the history of the city. Elea was a wonderful guide.
Araceli was absolutely amazing! She sent us to the best places, many local favourites! We did this food tour in our first day in Nice and Araceli was able to give us other restaurants recommendations for our stay. The wine bar and olive oil stops were sooooo incredible that we went back on our own to bring items home with us. Merci Araceli for the great tour!
Isabelle was AMAZING!! Such a fun tour and would recommend to anyone looking for a tour.
Guide cancelled. Still waiting on refund
What an amazing tour. Perfect way to start our time in Nice and learn the town, what to eat and drink, and the hidden gems. Araceli was our guide and was amazing. She was fun, energetic and took her time to share the history of Nice. Highly recommend the tour and ask for Araceli!

We had our tour with Isabel and she was fantastic! We enjoyed every part of the tour and she was full of knowledge and fun facts. We would totally recommend this tour (and Isabel) to anyone visiting Nice!
Great Experience for the money
Amazing food tour with Ara! Great wine and local food. Would recommend :)
Isabel was a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgable and helpful. It was great tasting local dishes and having background information.
An amazing use of a few morning-afternoon hours! Rachel is a kind, informative, and helpful guide. A 10:45a-230p is perfect to bridge the gap between landing and hotel check in time.
My husband and I had a fantastic food tour today with Rachel. We had a unique opportunity to be the only attendees, so it was a private tour! Each stop was thoughtful, informational, and provided delicious olive oil/truffle/tapinade, wine, cheese, traditional finger foods, and desserts. We were lucky enough to run our whole planned agenda by Rachel for a local’s opinion while getting additional recommendations and tips.
Truly a magical experience, we loved the olive oil and wine tasting and the local lunch was top notch. We can't recommend this enough!
Our tour was amazing all around. Nice was so beautiful and the food was so good. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and so nice. C'etait magnifique!
Great experience to walk around Nice and explore the various food options and history. Our guide Isabelle was very knowledgeable.
Our guide was Ara, and she was wonderful. Our tour ended up being just two of us, so it was like taking a walk around town with a friend. The portions were generous compared to other food tours I have experienced, and Ara’s commentary was informative and engaging. Highly recommend taking this tour your first day in Nice!
Very overpriced for the experience provided. Our guide was nice but lacking the knowledge about the city. Recommendations provided were generic and her answers sounded like she looked them up rather than shared her experience living in Nice forc20 years.
Family of four (19 and 14 year old daughters) and we had a great time. Our tour guide Ara was kind and helped the kids practice the French they learned in school. The 3.5 hour time advertised is accurate and feels like the right amount of time for the 5 different stops. Stop 1 was an olive oil + balsamic vinegar tasting place. The oils and vinegars tasted really interesting but were served alone rather than with bread or another food. Because we only got about ~1 minute to focus on each flavor, after a while everything started to blend together and taste strange. Stop 2 was a wine tasting place with a great atmosphere and air conditioning. There were 3 lovely wines served with bread, cheese, and charcuterie, plus juice for the 14 year old which she enjoyed. This was probably our favorite stop; only note is my husband said he would have enjoyed more personal attention from the employees to be able to talk about the wines. Stop 3 was an outdoor place where we had Niçoise specialities like a chickpea pancake and salad. The service was not super attentive but the food and atmosphere were great. Stop 4 was a famous Niçoise ice cream shop where it was quite crowded and overwhelming. This particular stop felt slightly rushed as we weren't able to sample flavors, and there were so many to choose from. We got violet, chocolate orange, cherry, and apricot which were all delicious. Stop 5 (the final one) was a chocolate shop where we had chocolate covered almonds, candied clementines, and then were each given a choice of a small chocolate. The shop itself dates back to Victorian times and is very pretty. The chocolate itself is good but not especially unique. Ara was, again, a lovely guide, but the facts and history given on the tour were a bit superficial. When we asked for shopping and dinner recommendations the responses were vague. For a local who has lived in Nice for 20 years the expectations were higher than what was delivered. My daughters both thought she was very fun and attentive. Overall, the food tour was fun, but the price tag of ~ 400€ is hard to justify, considering the amount of food and facts about Nice given.
Fun tour and lots of food, lovely guide
Lady Ara who guided us was very good guid, the best trip in Nicea, delicious food
This was a wonderful food tour! Our guide was Vanessa and she did a fantastic job. We had plenty to eat, learned a lot of history about Nice, and enjoyed an afternoon meeting new people. I highly recommend this tour!
Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the region and did an excellent job of weaving that history in with the food we experienced.
Rachel was excellent! I enjoyed learning tips about the local restaurants in the area, history, and trying the different foods and wines. Everything was delicious!
There were 5 stops and the amount of food did not equal a full meal. Over priced. Disappointing. The guide was sweet and nice but walked too fast, did not explain the itinerary well. I am baffled that this was €99. So disappointing
This was a wonderful way to experience Old Nice, and was worth the cost. We explored shops and areas we would have otherwise missed and despite the heatwave, our tour guide was happy to bring us around and was very informative of the area.
My wife and I have just come back from an 8 day touring holiday to Scily. This was our first experience of Riviera Travel and we were most impressed. Our holiday rep Paul Temple was superb, always super helpful and a real credit to the firm. Also our driver Michele was so good, always on time and so polite and caring, plus his skill in driving was clear to see. Our local guides were also excellent and really brought our trips to life. Well done everyone!
Elea was a great guide and took us to taste lots of fun regional foods. Our favorites were Socca and Tourte de Blettes.
Rachel was a fantastic guide, very friendly & knowledgeable! We enjoyed our food tour very much. It was just the right amount of food. Great way to sample the tastes of Nice!
Isabelle was a great guide. She was very informative of all the foods we were eating. We were definitely stuffed by the end of the tour. Would highly recommend.
