Molinard Classic Perfume Workshop In Nice

This was a lovely experience. Only two of us in the workshop which made it more personal. I felt it was a bit rushed to comfortably choose the components of our personal fragrance. Sadly once completed I do not like my fragrance. Not at all what I thought it would be from the completed smell before the breakdown was given to bottle. All in all I very much enjoyed the experience and if I were to do it again I’d try to find a workshop that was perhaps 2 hours long so as not to feel rushed to choose.

Creating a signature perfume for my daughter, naming it after her, and looking forward to gifting it to her, has been a fantastic experience with Molinard! My perfumier and guide, Florence, was knowledgeable and extremely kind and helpful. She was impressed that my daughter had shared with me the fragrance notes she prefers, and we were both delighted with the perfume that I created. Really looking forward to sharing it with my daughter when returning home. I highly recommend this event.

Interesting experience with two very knowledgeable guides. We will remember the activity for many years to come and the pleasure of creating your own perfume. The concept is great - create your own perfume - but we did feel little rushed ( you only have 1 hour) and would have preferred more information and guidance during the process. The pipettes could be more clearly marked. Smaller groups or additional guides would help the process. Overall we would recommend this activity.

This was a last minute addition to my few days in Nice and I am so glad I was able to book it. The staff were fantastic and the process was enjoyable and very interesting. Nothing like leaving France with your own custom fragrance! I was out numbered 2-1 by men, so this is not a gender specific experience! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was an usual tour and not something i would have expected. Was very memorable and interesting. Staff were very friendly and helpful

the workshop was very easy to follow. mostly independent in picking your own scents but the employees were fantastic at helping pair the perfect scent combinations. They tell you exactly how much of each to place in it when you're putting together your final scent. I love how you're able to create something that's appeals to your individual, and seeing it all come together is very unique. I am very happy with the experience.

We enjoyed creating our perfumes! If you are looking for something with more learning about the perfume making, I would recommend something else. There was not a lot of backgrounds given or interaction with our host. However, if you are interested in making a perfume and a quick, fun activity in Nice, I would recommend!

This was a great experience. Before I went, I reviewed the aroma profiles of several of my favorite scents so I had an idea of what I wanted to create. I ended up selecting some of the ones from my favorite scents and some new ones. The guide "nose" was great at advising us. She recommended changes to several participants at my table. After discussing what type of profile we wanted, she gave us the proportions to use. I am very pleased with how my personal formula!

We booked this workshop as an alternative to a typical excursion. On arrival it is a beautiful store and we got welcomed by Florence. It is quite a daunting task , having so much choice. However it is a small group and Florence guided us through the process. End result.. your own fragrance that can be reordered. Better than the usual souvenir. And it was a fascinating process too. Happy with our bespoke fragrance. I tried to recreate a limited edition that is no longer available. Delighted to have a version of my own.

Last minute decision to join a group making personalized perfume in Nice. We spent an hour obsessing over top noted middle notes and base notes and sharing ideas and chatting. It was really fun and everyone super friendly and I have a new custom perfume

We were educated on the high points of perfume design: high notes, medium notes, and deep. We designed our own 1/2 ounce of perfume from 100 sample essential flavors. A delightful experience!

Booked this for the wife as a last day activity before our flight out and I think I enjoyed it as much as she did. Having visited Grasse and a perfume factory, the appreciation for how perfume is made was already there. But to put what we learned there into practice, if even on a small scale, was really neat. The professionals knowledge and guidance in creating our own scent was astonishing. Really well done.

It was a great experience, very fun, about an hour and you make your own perfume. Met a bunch of great people in the process.

My mom and I had so much fun doing this activity! There were so many different kinds of scents to chose from - over 90! They give you a beautiful bottle to put it in. The only “negative” thing I could say about it is thy don’t ship to the USA so when you run out of your scent you’ll have to travel back to Nice to create it again. Overall, such a fun activity to do!

So fun and educational! Our instructor was very good at explaining how to select different scents to compare a unique blend of our own. It was super fun and honestly, I absolutely love my perfume creation. My daughter has a very beautiful scent she made as well and it's so her and completely different from mine.

She was knowledgeable about perfume and made the instructions super easy to follow. I have never done anything like this so I was surprised when the scents worked well together! She said that it would work out and it did. She also clearly knew what levels to put into the final product. I feel like I have a scent that is uniquely me and I’m not even a big perfume person!

Set in a primé location, the boutique was simple and elegant. The instructor was knowledgeable, friendly and respectful of our choice. Every step was structures well and supported with kindness. The quality of the ingredients was the highest possible. You would not mind the cost because the whole experience is enjoyable and you come back with a souvenir (our own made perfume) .

My cousins were skeptical about this but both said it was more fun than they expected. We got to smell each individual ingredient and take as many paper samples as we needed. The coordinator then took those samples to help us put together a unique bouquet for each of us. I am now home and wear my perfume every day. I love it!

Lovely room, knowledgeable trainer who could do the session in French and English. Lots of choices, good theory session. Nice to get a diploma at the end and perfume is saved so you can reorder. The season felt rushed for the ones who needed a bit of time to find a combination they liked. No drinks offered, not even water.

Fantastic perfume creating experience with Florence. I learned about the various notes and created a perfume to take home as a memento! Highly recommend this activity, especially in the off-season where it can be less crowded and more personalized.

You learn the whole process of constructing a perfume, picking 4 bottom note scents, 3 middle note scents and 3 top note scents from a kaege array of bottles. The quantities of each element are adjusted by your mentor in liaison with you, and then you fill a 50 ml spray perfume bottle using disposable pippettes. I wanted a woody, smoky, leathery evening cologne and that's exactly what I produced. Really pleased with it. You get a certificate at the end with the reference number of the perfume you have created, so that you can order additional bottles in the future. Great fun, really interesting, particularly in the different sorts of perfumes people create. Very highly recommended. Good value and really well organised and explained.

This was a fun experience, reminded us of high school chemistry labs. We had so many scents to choose from, starting with top notes, then middle, then base. Our class leader helped us with our proportions. Love the perfume we made.

This was one of the coolest things my family and I have ever done on vacation. The shop is beautiful and fantastic. In the back, there are tables and chairs with bottles of scents. You have a teacher telling you to pick what pleases you. Once you do, you write it all down, and they come around and help you with the proportions of scents. You are making a personalized perfume. My family and I felt like chemists. It was amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

This was such a cool thing to do! Our instructor was so knowledgeable and really helped make the experience special. We went as a group of three and we still had an individual specialized experience to create our own unique scents. The location was great, right on the edge of Old Nice which made it a great mid day activity. I highly recommend this for anyone!

My wife and 11 year old daughter attended this and had a fantastic time. The guide was friendly, efficient, and helped us navigate the process of creating our custom perfumes, which we are excited about using. The perfume shop was very nice and in a great location next to old Nice. Highly recommended!

Very attentive and knowledgable lady talked us through the process and then helped us to narrow down our final selection. We got to take home a 50ml bottle of bespoke perfume, making this excellent value.
