Guided Walking Tour In Nice France

Good tour and guide, Marcin, despite the horrendous rain! Very informative and interesting tour. Obviously would have been better on a good day but Marcin did a goid job of keeping us motivated and enjoying the tour despite the weather.

Natalie was fantastic! Very informative with plenty of recommendations, and not too far of a walk overall.

The tour guide Mars, made the tour spectacular and conveyed his love of Nice and what makes Nice a special and unique place. We loved the stories he told. Full disclosure, it is a lot of standing listening to the excellent stories. We learned a couple of practical lessons from this tour. 1. make sure you double check the language so you get your preferred language. 2. Walking tours are, of their nature, a lot of standing. In 20 degree (70) temperatures, it's fine. It the summer hear, we would not enjoy this much standing. All that said, we fell in love with Nice!

Scott who was our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and kept us well informed along the tour about the great history of Nice and was happy to assist us out any questions and provide recommendations.

Marchin led us on an incredibly informative and entertaining walking tour in Nice. As a bonus, he provided a link to a Google map enabled list of restaurants of which we tried 3 - ALL of which were FAR better than the ones we had found on our own. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough!!

Great time touring the Nuce! Tour guide was very good, kept group together and did a good job pointing out and explaining. Only wish we had headsets so we could here him better.

Guided tour was fine, plenty to see and guide showed us places to eat and drink plus historic places. Only problem is that our group paid full price before we arrived. The guide then said people could pay whatever they thought the tour was worth (!). Not impressed.

Marcin Moka gave us a great tour!! He was interesting and even Gabbie is a sample of delicious socca! He was easy to understand and showed us many interesting thins. I highly recommend!!

I don’t know that I would recommend this. €20 to go to a few spots over a few hours. Nice to see the back alleys of Nice you might not find yourself, but it was a really slow placed tour and mostly stood already. I get that this website has fees, but there was also a request for additional tip/pay on top of that.

Very insightful and entertaining tour. Our tour guide was originally from Canada, but it’s apparent that he loves Nice and spend some time there. He was informative and full of fun facts. Even our teenage kids paid attention. Highly recommend it in the beginning of your visit to Nice.

I've done many walking tours, and Jenny by far is the best walking tour guide. We saw so much of old Nice, and even had a gelato break. Jenny was very enthusiastic and engaging, telling us lots of interesting facts and stories. Jenny was also kind enough to provide some recommendations for Nice / surrounding areas through WhatsApp, and they have all be well thought out and detailed recommendations. I highly recommend doing a tour like this to get your bearings and it'll be even better with Jenny!

My husband and I took this tour with Danara and it was a great way to learn a little about the history and infamy of Nice and get our bearings around the old town. Danara was a brilliant guide and we were able to hear her well throughout the tour. Really appreciated all the stories and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. A lot of history and interesting trivia regarding Nice and its inhabitants was presented in a very entertaining and engaging manner. Learned lots and had a beautiful walk.

Denara (sp?) was a fantastic tour guide. We had arrived earlier that day on a redeye and wanted to get an overview of Nice to keep us moving. The tour was insightful, entertaining and fun; just what we were looking for. You get a great sense of Old Town and the opportunity to raise your heart rate climbing Castel Hill with all the stunning views that go with it. This is a "free tour" other than the small Viator fee as the guides work solely on tips. Denara also provided us with a recommendation list of restaurants and other sites in the area to explore. Perfect way to start our visit in Nice.

Awesome trip around town. Guide was very knowledgable of the area. He went out of his way to ensure that everyone saw, learned, and experienced a different side of Nice. Please be sure to pay and tip appropriately. There were guests on our tour who did not understand the value of the guides presentation and offered to pay only 5.00 euros each. I was embarrassed for them.

The tour was incredible! Marcin had so much to say about history, architecture, stories, and just fun facts. It really made the city of Nice feel alive and I started to appreciate it for more than it's beautiful views. He also had greats recommendations for cool spots to explore and where to eat, his map of food places was invaluable for the rest of my time in the city. The tour was 3 hours long but the time flew by, and ending at the overlook at sunset was perfect. My only regret was not doing this tour earlier in our trip to have more time to check out all the spots that were pointed out!

An excellent day and a very informative and interesting tour. Marcin was a fabulous tour guide and did an extraordinary job showing us around. “Walkative Nice” started on Place Massena, the heart of the city and ending at Colline du Château. Marcin was very dynamic in sharing the history of Nice, explaining its architecture and its unique culture. We ended our tour at Colline du Château (Castle Hill) and its incredibly breathtaking view.

Marcin was a wealth of knowledge on this tour of Nice! I highly recommend taking this tour as it encompasses a ton of information about nice. You’ll walk through the market area, Lou Castel, along the promenade of nice. There are charming alleyways you’ll walk through and he’ll give suggestions on great places to eat and grab a few drinks away from the touristy areas!

Did this walking tour recently. It lasted about 2.5 hours. Marcin was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and managed to bring everything to life on a very untypical wet and grey Nice afternoon. He was a very good storyteller and after stopping at local points of interest he always gave us time to explore them and take photos. Marcin, also kindly offered to take photos for us. The walk itself was very well paced and included a good balance of of both old and new history. All in all a great afternoon.

Hello Folks, I hadn’t been to the ‘old parts of Nice’ before signing up for a walk with Marcin. I would highly recommend him.

I did some tours already and usually when I travel somewhere new first thing I check are the freewalking tours. I really love the idea. But Marcin's tour went beyond that! So don't just do a tour of Nice, choose Walkative, you will get the best views, the most hidden gems, the most unexpected facts, reccomendations and things to avoid, all in one! And even a rainy day turned out to be an amazing day!

I only had a day to explore Nice and it was the best decision to join the guided walk tour of Nice! Marcin was the tour guide and I cannot express how nice he was! Extremely pleasant, patient and full of knowledge about the place, he was a great guide. The tour was a small group of people and started on time. At every spot, Marcin talked to us about the tales and interesting facts and stories about it. He not only showed Nice in all its wonderful beauty, but also gave tips and suggestions that one may not otherwise find online! What a way to experience a brand new place! And bonus...Marcin is an amazing photographer too! Highly recommend taking this tour in Nice !

I made nine visits to Nice with the Heritage Centre. The level is uneven, one third was remarkable, three were average and the last third was interest-free. This is due to the guide, his knowledge and his work on the subject.

The visit was very complete and the guide was very pleasant. He knew how to keep the group with great interest and was very professional, he also pointed out several places of interest to us.
