Grasse Perfumery Fragonard, Gourdon, Tourettes Sur Loup, Saint Paul De Vence

I loved that it was a small group in a private car -not a big bus. We got to see several medieval villages. Trust me - you will want to take many pictures - even on a cloudy, rainy day as today was. And they will be great mementos but they will be nothing like what you see with your eyes. It’s hard to put into words the beauty, the magic, the charm. Even the views from the car were great! Philippe was a good driver and a delightul host/guide.

It is a good part of French history. It is very relaxed. Philippe our guide is well informed and charming with a lot of humor! The timelines is good per venue. The total time of the tour is not overwhelming and well judged!

We had an amazing 1/2-day small group tour from Nice, France, visiting Grasse, Gourdon, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, and Saint-Paul-de-Vence. The personal service was outstanding — being picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel made the experience so convenient and eliminated the stress of figuring out transportation or meeting locations. Our driver/guide spoke very understandable English and had excellent knowledge of each town, sharing interesting information and helping us appreciate the history and charm of the area. The visit to the Fragonard perfumery in Grasse was a wonderful experience, and each village offered something unique. My favorite stop was Saint-Paul-de-Vence. The town was absolutely captivating, with countless artist studios showcasing incredible creativity across so many different mediums. There was so much beautiful artwork to see that it was difficult to take it all in during the time we had. The tour lasted a little longer than expected, but that actually made it perfect — we still had plenty of time afterward to explore and enjoy Nice before boarding our cruise ship the following morning. This was a wonderful way to experience the French Riviera, and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a personalized, informative, and stress-free adventure.

Wonderful tour and an excellent tour guide! We really enjoyed our day with Felipe. Lucky for us we ended up with a private tour with just me and my husband. Felipe picked us up promptly from our hotel and gave us a great overview of the history of each place we would visit. He had tips for each place we visited including where to find local cats (important!). The route was well-planned and we had a few photo opportunities along the way. Each place we visited was beautiful and unique. Felipe himself was lovely to talk with and he has a great sense of humor. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Philippe was a very knowledgeable and relaxed local guide. He was extremely personable and seemed to truly enjoy the experience along with us. If you are a fan of perfumes, the tour of the working Fragonard factory is a must see. It was even better than I expected. The three other towns that we visited each had its own character and beauty, one was just as spectacular as the next. Be sure to enjoy a savory crêpe and violet ice cream during your tour. Shout out to Philippe - our driver and tour guide. He organized the day so well that our timing was really great. We were at each place before it got really crowded. He was funny and informative and we really enjoyed seeing all of the villages as well as the perfume factory tour. The guys in our group weren't sure about that but they really liked seeing the chemistry side of how everything was made. So guys - this is for you too! The views from the villages are amazing. Not to be missed!

Take a jacket & brolly just in case of wet cold weather. There are steps along the way. Gourdon was under clouds so didnt see much. The actual town is very quaint

It was a great tour. Definitely worth it. We had enough time in every place. We left in time at 9:00 and returned shortly before 14:30. Philippe provided enough information about tour and each place. But be aware that you are on your own in each town. We knew it and prepared ourselves but based on reviews some people expected guided walk in each town.

Phillippe, our guide and driver, gave us a great day. Not only did he arrive a few minutes early, but we had a very confortable van to drive the hills in. Not too large for the windy roads but big enough to be comfortable. He was very informative about the midevil cities we visited and always got us dropped off conveniently close so we did not have to walk long distances from parking lots to the city centers. Can thank him enough for providing this different perspective of the area compared to the coast.

Wonderful experience seeing several beautiful historic villages in the hills of the Cote d’Azur, as well as the Fragonard perfume factory. Our guide, Philippe, was very knowledgeable and kept the day very organized, allowing us to see all that we could. I’m very happy that I got to see these places, and that the tour was so convenient.

This is a brilliant tour! Philippe was funny and charming, with so much knowledge of the history and culture of the local area. He’s also a good and safe driver. We enjoyed our Fragonard factory tour the most, but each of the little villages also had plenty to see and do. A great day out for this Irish family!

The perfumery was fascinating and the villages were beautiful but our visits were too short and we felt rushed. This would be better as a full day tour.

Our guide, Philippe offered to alter our tour slightly since we weren’t interested in touring the perfumery by adding extra tour time at the 3 mid evil towns we were visiting. It was a good tour with village history & info provided by Philippe as we drove surrounded in beautiful scenery! We had plenty of time to walk each village and didn’t feel rushed.

This trip was as wonderful as everyone says. Our guide, Phillipe was great. He allowed time for us at each stop and pointed out places to eat, take pictures, etc. As we were the only ones on the tour, we elected to skip the perfumery as we did one on the Monaco tour, this helped us spend more time at the other stops. A beautiful road with spectacular scenery in the mountains. The 3 villages differ from one another, each with its own ambiance. I will recommend this tour to people who want to get out of the cities.

Phillipe provided us necessary information to explore the villages on our own. It's a perfect itinerary if you are wanting to see some of the countryside and small villages near Nice. This was probably my favorite tour of the 3 we ended up taking out of Nice. It was a shorter one (2pm end), and I almost wish it was longer! Philippe was a great guide, and gave us great pointers and information. The towns were beautiful and a perfect collection of stops. I will mention there are alot of steps/inclines in the towns, so bring your walking shoes!

Enjoyed this tour very much although I would have liked more time to explore each village & include a stop for lunch … we were very rushed. As a solo traveller I couldn't have wished for a better experience! Getting to see these beautiful places in the great company of a small group and charming Philippe was fantastic. While the perfume factory offered interesting insights into the production and history, strolling through the beautiful villages and admiring architecture, local art and getting to try nice food was on a whole other level. The rain didn't bother us at all - less tourists & more tranquility for us! :) I also LOVED that this was a half day tour bc it allows you to relax or discover Nice in the afternoon. Communication & pick up was quick & without problems.

This was an excellent tour. Philippe was a fun, charming and knowledgeable tour guide. Each stop was just the right amount of time. The three hilltop villages were spectacular and each unique in their own way. The tour of the Fragonard Perfume Factory was interesting and it was great to try some of the beautiful fragrances.

We were attracted to this great tour because it only included the small medieval towns and Grasse, where my grandfather learned to make perfume at the same time as Fragonard. It was a special tour because of that and our fantastic guide Phillipe! He made it special with anecdotes and history facts. We world love to return one day. Definitively with booking. Merci!

I went there to get an aftershave for my husband and the lady sold me a bottle of ladies perfume. My husband didn’t like it and looked it up to find it was a ‘ classic ladies perfume’. Thanks for nothing Fragonard and caveat emptor to the buyers out there
