What a wonderful tour, and what an exceptional guide! Albano picked me up on time at my hotel. Then on to Monaco and Eze. Albano was extremely knowledgeable and provided extensive information, and answered all of my many questions! He also gave me terrific recommendations for museums and restaurants. I highly recommend this tour and Albano.
I don’t normally write reviews but this was my only disappointing excursion in the two weeks we spent in France. The guide was great with communicating with me prior to the trip. He showed up on time and he was very pleasant. He was knowledgable about the history of Nice and the areas he took us to. Beyond that, the overall experience was very disappointing. He showed up in a very small car to pick up 4 adults. It was quite a tight fit especially for a long ride. We are average sized adults. We did get to see Castle Hill, Monaco and Monte Carlo. There was no actual visit to the Prince’s Palace. It was just pointed out to us. The total tour felt rushed. I wish we had had more time to explore Eze Village especially as we declined visiting the Fragonard Factory. At that point, I wish I had asked if we could explore for a little while. It was more of a rushed walk-through of the village. It was supposed to be a “full day” tour but we were back in Nice by early afternoon. Definitely not worth what we paid.

Albano was our driver and tour guide. My husband and I were his only clients on the day of our trip as he keeps his tours limited. He was respectful, very courteous, communicated clearly with us prior to the trip and had a wealth of historical knowledge on each of the places we visited. We took many different tours during our stay in France and we have to say this was one of our favorites-all due to Albano.
The tour began with Albano picking us up near our hotel and took us to several scenic sites in Nice where he both told us detailed history of the city and brought us to scenic spots to see the city and sea from above. When then went to Eze where again we learned detailed history of the city. We had a tour of the Fragonard perfume factory which was fascinating and got to climb some steps while doing so. We then went on to Monaco. My wife was very excited to see Monaco and Albano did not disappoint. He showed her all the locations she wanted to see and more. He was also very patient while we went into the casino in Monte Carlo and played for a bit:) All in all, we are happy we chose this tour and grateful we had Albano as our guide!
This is a safe tour to explore this region. Albano was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and was able to get us a same day reservation to cafe de Paris in Monte Carlo very open to your needs and suggestions. This tour is highly recommended

Pick up on time, the guide was very informative. It was a private tour for two so very accommodating to what we wanted to see. Just the right amount of time, approximately 5 hours. Would recommend to anyone, avoid the hassles of bus or train and relax.
We had a great tour with Albano in Monaco, Ese and Nice. He was great communicating in advance of our meeting time and gave easy directions to find him nearby the cruise port. Spoke great English and took us to the beautiful vistas in the area. Some walking required. He would be able to customize the tour to your needs. We wanted to see the most of the area in about 5 hours time.
Alan was very flexible in waiting for us when our cruise was late in arriving due to rough waters . He picked us up right at the tender arrival area and returned us to that spot. He provided an excellent tour for us and made our day very informative and interesting.

This was a great experience to see Nice, Monaco and Eze, in a short amount of time. The parfume tour eas terrific. Albano was fantastic and he had a lot of knowledge about the history. He didn’t rush us so we could see everything and he also took great photos! He also gave us great recommendations for dinner in Nice The only problem was is that we booked a private tour for the two of us and I was surprised there was another woman in the car with us. It worked out fine, but we thought it was going to be private for the price we paid. It also made the car ride a little more cramped.
Albano was a great guide. He was prompt and very communicative before tour giving exact meet up location and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. He is very knowledgeable about the sites and moved us with ease from place to place in his vehicle. If you can spend a little extra, the private tours are worth it. (4 people)

Review of the Nice, Eze and Monaco tour: I always use Viator tours when I travel and I loved our tour guide Albano who we spent a day with in Nice, Eze and Monaco. He connected with me before the tour and answered all my questions. He was flexible in the order of what we saw so he could accommodate my request to end at a specific place, which was so appreciated. He knew that walking stairs was a small challenge so wherever he could, he would drop us off to minimize our stair use. Again, very considerate and thoughtful in his accommodations of us. And he recommended a wonderful restaurant in Nice plus traditional French dishes to consider ordering & we did and they were very, very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, his historical knowledge of the whole area was amazing. I am a shopper and he would wait patiently while I, at my own pace, found my little treasures. Albano Made Our Last Day in France Unforgettable! We had one final day in Nice after a weeklong vacation in France, and I wanted to use it to explore a little more of the French Riviera. I found this tour on Viator and thought the itinerary offered a great opportunity to see several different areas in one day. I booked it for myself and my traveling partner, and I am so glad I did! Our guide, Albano Merna, reached out the evening before our tour to ask where we were staying and offered to pick us up directly from our hotel. I initially missed his message, so he went the extra step of contacting me using the number on my Viator reservation, which prompted me to check the app and connect with him. I was so pleasantly surprised to learn that he would pick us up at our hotel. This was especially appreciated because there were leg injuries in our little two-person group that made additional walking more challenging. Sure enough, Albano was waiting for us promptly at 9:00 a.m., exactly as promised, and we were off! Because we chose the earlier tour, we were able to get ahead of much of the traffic and many of the crowds. Throughout the day, Albano shared a tremendous amount of information about the places we were seeing. He explained the history and architecture of the region, pointed out the differences between older historic buildings and newer development, and even explained some of the restrictions involved in preserving historic properties. He was incredibly knowledgeable, but just as importantly, he was friendly and made everything interesting and easy to understand. We traveled through Èze and Monaco, visited the Prince’s Palace area and the beautiful cathedral, drove through Monaco’s impressive tunnels, and continued into Monte Carlo. Albano accompanied us through many of the sights and gave us wonderful historical context along the way. At the Casino de Monte-Carlo, he even escorted us into the lobby and explained its history. One of the biggest surprises was that we had expected to be touring with a larger group, but it ended up being just the two of us with Albano. It made the experience incredibly personalized. Instead of simply hearing a rehearsed tour, we were able to have real conversations and ask questions throughout the day. We learned not only about French and Monégasque history and architecture, but also about transportation and what everyday life and work are like in France. Those conversations were some of my favorite parts of the entire experience. We finished at the Fragonard perfume factory, where Albano arranged for us to take a tour inside. We learned how perfume is made, how essential oils and fragrances are extracted from flowers, and how they are incorporated into perfumes, soaps, lotions and other products. It was a wonderful way to finish the sightseeing portion of our day. Afterward, Albano drove us directly back to our hotel, which again was especially helpful given the mobility issues in our group. The tour is listed at approximately five and a half hours, which was about right for us, but the time absolutely flew by. Albano was prompt, kind, knowledgeable, accommodating and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. What could have simply been a sightseeing tour became one of the highlights of our trip and a fantastic way to spend our final day in France. I would 100% recommend this tour, and especially Albano. If you have the opportunity to tour the French Riviera with him, do it. It was absolutely worth it!

I came to Nice on my honeymoon and we wanted a really special experience while here. We decided to look into tours on this site and after reviewing the different available tours for Monaco, I decided on this one because of all the positive reviews about the tour guide, Albano. TLDR: He lives up to his reputation and we had an incredible time. He reached out several days in advance through what's app to coordinate and I really appreciated his communication and effort to make our meet up seamless. Once picked up the experience was flawless and he really knows his stuff. The pace of the tour was just right. His English is great and he's very thoughtful and friendly. He took us to all the places you must see. He’s also pretty funny! When I return I will most definitely use his services again.

We booked all our shore excursions for our Mediterranean cruise through Viator. Up to this point we had had three very good experiences... Albano did a fantastic job keeping the trend going. This was a private tour with just myself, my husband and our guide Albano. Albano gave us clear directions on where to meet him once we got off the tender at Villefranc. We started a little early and he explained we should kill a little time before we started the tour to allow enough time for things to open up. We drove into Nice and enjoyed a coffee at a quiant little sidewalk Cafe. We then drive to the top of the city for not just an amazing view, but a clearer vision of how Nice is laid out and the history of why. We were immediately struck by the breadth and depth of Albano's knowledge of the region. This guy has an encyclopedic memory! He then took us to Monoco and we covered an astounding number of sights, all the while being regaled by Albano's historical diatribe. We even drove a large section of the F1 course as the race was just a week away! The next stop was the medieval village of Eze. This place is very high on the mountainside and the views were spectacular. We visited the Fragonard Purfumery where we learned the ins and outs of how perfume is made. Albano was there to collect us when we were finished and we drove back Nice for an authentic local French lunch. Albano was a fantastic guide. He was attentive. Always insuring we were comfortable and were seeing and doing the things we wanted to. He showed us and taught us so many amazing things. His passion for what he does is most evident and it made his tour one of our favorites on this vacation. Once again, we walked away feeling like we not only had an experience we'll always cherish, but that we had found a new and very special friend. For this we cannot thank Albano enough.
The whole tour was very informative. The pace was perfect. We got to see a lot of places, but it never felt overwhelming. The car ride was comfortable. I felt safe the entire trip. The tour guide was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. He even gave a list of restaurant recommendation after the trip.
Wonderful museum. Well worth the visit. Lines were long and didn’t really skip the line but we were running late and still accommodated.
