French Wine Tasting In Nice: Tour De France In 8 Wines

Small group… a lot of fun! Our guide did a blind taste test of 8 different wines and we had to determine the region it came from. Cheese w/ each wine and how they compliment the wine of choice

We had a great time at the Wine tasting. The wines she presented were delicious. The materials she displayed were visually appealing and great tools to help understand the presentation. We were constantly engaged and were able to ask questions throughout. The other participants were fun so it made it extra enjoyable. The room was comfortable and they have a clean restroom. Would be good to get a list of local stores that sell the presented wines as well as some regional vineyard recommendations!

My wife and I had a great experience and Julia was amazing. She took the time to answer our questions and we learned so much about the different french wines. She is very knowledgable, charismatic and has so much passion of what she does. The selection of the wines we had were superb, each one offering a distinct tasting experience. When we arrived back to our home country in Canada, I send her a message to respond to one of my questions that I forgot to ask her at Nice and she responded back. I really appreciated the time she took to respond back and it shows how dedicated Julia is to her work and clients. This wine tasting experience with Julia is a must if you ever visit Nice!

The wines tried were varied and presented in thoughtful order. Many I had never tasted before. It was truly an exploration of a lot of the regions in France. Our guide was from India (I believe), studying wine in France. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. His accent was very strong and we had some trouble understanding some of the words he was using but that was a minor distraction, I finally figured out that when he kept saying "air'-o-mass" that he was saying "aromas." Good visuals and well worth the money. I plan to bring my kids next time I return to Nice.

We had a wonderful wine tasting experience! The whole experience was relaxed, enjoyable, and beautifully presented. Our host was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wines, taking the time to explain each one and share interesting details that made the tasting even more enjoyable. The wine and cheese pairings were particularly lovely — each cheese complemented the wines so well and really brought out the different flavours. You could tell a lot of thought had gone into every pairing. A truly memorable experience, and one I would happily recommend to anyone who loves good wine, delicious cheese, and great company!

This wine tour is a must for wine lovers! Atharu was the best and very good at explaining how to see, smell and taste the wines. He explained why each wine came for certain areas of France. Would definitely recommend this tour. Unfortunately we reserved it late in our stay but it would have been great to have the knowledge when we ordered wine at our meals. Do this tour, it is so fun and interesting. I am sure all the guides are good but Atharu was fantastic and you would be lucky to get him.

Really fun and educational wine tasting! Our tour guide was Atharv- we met at a comfortable indoor location and tasted 8 different wines -we learned so much! Bottling, climate, soil, tannins, food pairings and it was really fun and informative! Atharv was charming and very knowledgeable - I would definitely attend another and would recommend - 🥂 cheers!

Fantastic experience and a great setting to learn more about wines of the French region. Julia was incredibly gracious, patient, knowledgeable, and picked fantastic wines. Out of 8 wines I could've easily taken home 4 bottles that I thought were great. Highly recommend this experience. Two hours was the perfect length of time for this. My wife and I did the 5:30pm slot, and were able to go from the tasting right into a dinner, which was excellent timing.

We had such a wonderful wine tasting experience with Julia! She was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. It was clear how much thought and effort she had put into the tasting, and we learnt so much about the wines and the local region. Julia made the whole experience really interactive and engaging, and she was incredibly accommodating, patient and knowledgeable. Every wine we tasted was amazing, and the cheeses paired with them were just as delicious. We’re so grateful for the experience and came away having learnt so much. It was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip and we would highly recommend a tasting with Julia to anyone visiting the area!

We really loved the tasting. Julia is very knowledgeable on the wines and selected some very nice wines from around France. It was nice to taste what the various regions of France produce and how they are unique to those areas. We only wish that we would have been able to purchase some of the wines. Maybe in the future she can incorporate some links to local wine shops where we can find what we tasted.

She was very knowledgeable about all of the wines and offered a really in-depth wine description. We loved tasting all of the wines and the group was intimate.

Atharv was exceptional! He has such a varied knowledge of wine from the aromas to tiers of palate. He explains a very expert level knowledge of wine tasting very simply to the point where we were all ‘professionals’ by the end. A great few hours tasting some top quality wines. The experience was definitely worth the price; it was educational and a fun experience. The guide, Atharv, was a great educator and leader in the wine tasting. The tasting lasted approximately 2 hours, but the information we learned and the France-based wine was worth it. Additionally, there was snacks (cheese and chips) provided that matched the taste of the wine.

This wine tasting experience was exceptional! We learned a lot about French wines, and the tasting came with some great appetizers too. Our host was extremely knowledgeable and knew the answers to all questions asked - it was very impressive. Definitely recommend!

This is amazing experience! I think this is completely underrated. There was so much cheese and bread that paired with the wine! We felt so full and it was so fun so many people opened up after a couple of wine glasses. It was such a fun class. were all kind of quiet at the beginning of the course. We ended up all opening up with a couple of classes of wines and it was so fun with people laughing by the end!

Small group of 10 (max) people meeting in a cozy, comfortable commercial space in Nice for a blind wine tasting of 8 wine varieties from France. The wines were enjoyable and the event introduces you to other travelers enjoying a similar experience.

She did a wonderful job explaining the different regions along with many of differences in wine types. We had a wonderful time and made friends with others in the group! Worth while if you love learning and wine!!

We loved this activity. My husband and I learned a lot about the different wines of France in a very casual environment. The guide brought out little snacks along the way to pair with the wines, which was a fun bonus. No wine knowledge needed! It was a fairly short and simple introduction to French wines, perfect for a vacation. I'd love to take one of their tours if we are back in the area.
