We are three retired couples that have been traveling together for more than 15 years. We have been on dozens of tours together and we all agree this was the best tour we have ever been on. Mago, the tour guide not only talked about history, he talked of French culture, art history, current events, and the background to the things we were seeing. He was both funny and serious and the 8 hours flew by. We spent much of the time in smaller villages because this was a personalized tour and that is what we wanted. It was a perfect day with a perfect guide.

We had a great time exploring the French Riviera with Mago THE SUPER TOUR-GUIDE! A tour is almost 99% dependent on the tour guide, and Mago was simply excellent. He was flexible and adjusted the tour to our needs. Mago is amazing at his job as aside from having lots of stories to tell us about the area and his experience, he has studied History so he really has excellent knowledge on absolutely every place we passed through, along with the accompanied stories for any paintings/sculptures we came across. Mago discussed with me about my interests and preferences via email, then quickly proposed an itinerary. We finalized the itinerary when we met on the tour day. This was our first day in the French Riviera and Mago made it incredibly memorable. His passion for the area, and knowledge of its culture and history, really made the tour. Mago was fun, engaging and sensitive to how we wanted to tailor the day. This tour ran the gamut from incredible views of Nice (with a wonderful historical overview), to a magical stroll through (up!) medieval Eze, which was punctuated by a drink atop a cliff with the magnificent sweep of the Mediterranean below, to a run romp through Monaco and visit to Monte Carlo. Highly recommend Mago for any tour!

We were so happy with the entire tour experience Mago provided. Not only was Mago very knowledgeable in the historical elements to the tour he also went above and beyond with where we visited. He was able to create such a memorable experience for my husband and I who opted to book a private tour to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This was a fantastic tour! Worth every penny! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the entire region. He gave us historical background information so we could fully appreciate the sights and the area. As somebody with difficulty walking distances, he gave us plenty of breaks and time to ensure we were able to enjoy the views and locations. The French Riviera and Monaco are gorgeous destinations, having a fantastic tour guide just adds so much to the trip. I would recommend this tour to anybody!

First - communication from the moment we booked the tour - timely, robust and periodic leading all the way to the day of the tour. Even sent us a text that morning as he was waiting for us downstairs at our hotel - EARLY. Then, upon our first moments, Mago made sure to discuss with us exactly what we wanted our day to be with - he wanted to be sure each element of the day was to our choosing. Where we went, how we spent our time, what we wanted to focus on - and then he never left this space - rolling out a day that exactly met our desires AND checking in all day long to be sure we were happy with how the day was going. These are just the basics. Mago is a wealth of knowledge both about the region, all of it's individual towns AND all the amazing, fun and sometimes surprising history or each. He also made sure we stopped along the way for some "relax time" at some of the most desirable locations - places with views and special feelings/experiences. All adding to how special the day was. And an added bonus one would never expect - Mago is a FABULOUS photographer!! Skilled on not only when/where to stop for great shots - but then delivering incredible quality pictures so you have the best memories to bring home. And then there is the fact that Mago is just a great, warm, very hard working person - so enjoyable to be around. We saw so much during our day with Mago with not a stress in the world - no need to worry about parking or that extra glass of champagne. We just sat back and enjoyed every second. I cannot stress enough how great this tour is AND how happy you will be that you book it! Book it early in your stay. We actually did a private 1/2 day tour and a private full day tour with Mago and both were OUTSTANDING! We were 5 people, and he made it enjoyable and interesting for each of us. He uses a very nice Mercedes van, super comfortable. We got to choose the itinerary and we saw everything we wanted - plus more. Excellent narration, plenty of time for pictures and souvenir shopping, just tell Mago what you want to do. He’s a nice guy and very knowledgeable about the region, the history of the sites we visited, architecture- you name it. We’ll definitely use him again next time we visit. Thanks Mago!

Our guide was very knowledgable and provided many unknown insights during the tour. Our weather was not the best but he made sure we were able to see everything on the tour and never missed a beat! The trip showed first hand what those soldiers faced as they stormed the beaches. The Normandy American Cemetery is definitely a must see as well, as many of those that lost their life that day are buried on those grounds.

The views, the food, the history, the art and Mago was amazing. If u haven’t done the French Riviera. I would recommend %100 to do it.

Excellent tour and day with Mago! This was so worth booking a day for. Not only was the tour private for us but was completely tailored to us. Mago was able to accommodate us while also giving his exceptional tour of Eze, Monaco, and Antibes. What an amazing day with Mago. If you are in South of France you have to do this tour. It is always a bit concerning how you can please 2 parents and an 18 and 19 year old on a tour and this exceeded our expectations. Mago was fantastic - great combination of humour and extremely good knowledge of the area. We all loved the tour-was a great to hear of history, have photo opportunities, food and overall knowledge of the area. Mago has a great knack to know how to please all family members. He even gave us great recommendations for our stay. Mago even went out of his way to help me pick up a hat that I had left in a restaurant the day after - over and above help. Mago what is an excellent tour guide during the tour and after. After the tour was done he text us restaurants that he recommended around Nice. He grew up in Nice Soooo is very knowledgeable about the history and the places to go. He went out of his way to pick us up and drop us off at our apartment instead of the meeting point. He had an itinerary already set for the tour but changed it to our needs. Would 💯 recommend.

BEST DAY EVER. Mago is the perfect tour guide - entertaining, thinks of every detail, flexible, and knows how to share the history and culture of the places we saw. Agree with all prior positive reviews. I don't think we have ever had a better tour guide or a better tour experience. Apart from the history and storytelling ability, Mago knows the area and the mechanics of how to make the experience smooth with no wasted time (knows where to park, has perfect restaurant idea that fits your travelers, can smoothly fit in accommodations like a little more time here or a little less time on something else). Felt like we got three days experience in the one day.

We had a most memorable 7 days in NICE, France. Much of this credited to Mago, our amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, attentive and the most captivating storyteller. Just 2 hours into the trip, we felt like we know so much about the French Riveira region, its history, politics and geography. What was most impressive was Mago's ability to identify our quirks, likes and dislikes, and make recommendations which were exactly what we were looking for. We signed up for 2 half day tours, but Mago was checking in on us every day, and helped us with restaurant bookings, and armed us with a list of places to visit and must-dos. The process for booking and payment was also seamless.

Mago is seriously the best tour guide in the French Rivera!! We booked the French Rivera private tour with mago for our family of 4 and all all our expectations were exceeded. Mago was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable, passionate and flexible to everyone’s needs. He geared and personalized the tour to our interests so well so that everyone in the family was happy and got what they wanted out of it. For example, I love art and really was excited for St. Paul, so Mago made sure to go above and beyond to ensure I got the full St. Paul experience and was sooo knowledge about the history of the town and it’s contributions to art. Another example, my daughters really care about getting the best pictures in the best “insta” spots. He again went above and beyond to take them to the best spots and was super patient with all the pictures they wanted to take. He also took amazing photos of our family. He also did such a great job with telling us about the history of every where we saw in such detail, but also made it exciting by including fun stories about modern pop culture, Hollywood etc (which was great since we had our girls with us who usually get a little bored of history). To top it all off, he even texted us afterwards to give us detailed recommendations for the next day complete with the best spots and restaurants in the other towns we wanted to see. This day was the highlight of our entire trip to France and I cannot recommend Mago enough to any group who is looking for a tailored and perfect day exploring the riviera!!

We took a whole day tour. The contact with the office was very easy and Antoine/Manager answered immediately on my eMails and questions. On the day of the tour, Mago (our guide and driver) picked us up from agreed place and showed us the most beautiful places in the area of Nice, Eze, Monaco and Cannes. We had a great and enjoyable day. Mago adapted the tour to our requests. He explained us everything with details and full competence. We can definitely recommend this office as well Mago. It was a pleasure to see such beatiful part of France. We will come again, and defintly reserve a next tour at this office.

Private tour is suppose to be flexible; however, Mago was not. He seemed confused on how to order the day because we asked to start late. He did not listen to our priorities of places that we wanted to visit.

Even though we visit Nice on regular basis we decided to have a guided French Riviera tour and Mago was just what we needed. We had 2 teenagers with us and he tried his best to engage them and make it enjoyable for all of us. We seen South of France with fresh eyes and from some amazing view points. I researched a number of French Riviera day tours from Nice and chose this one based on how comprehensive it was and on the solid reviews. I was not disappointed. Mago kept our family of 4, including 2 teenagers, engaged the entire time with interesting information and entertaining stories. He's very good on time management, so you are able to squeeze in a great overview in one day without feeling rushed, but also very flexible if you want to add or drop something depending on your interests. He speaks excellent English and is a safe driver. We did a number of day tours throughout our 2 week stay in France and everyone in our family agreed this was our favorite.
