French Riviera Full Day Shared Tour From Nice

It covered way too much territory, leaving us very little time in each place to explore. For my thinking, it should be reworked so that events covered in the first half day would be stretched over the same number of hours. Part of that thinking is that Cannes is a big nothing when the film festival isn’t in progress and when it is tourists aren’t let in. A hurried walkthrough of Antibes was only frustrating. We just raced all day.

We had a fantastic tour with Raphael! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He shared lots of interesting stories and local insights, and you could really tell how passionate he is about the area. Highly recommend Raphael!

It was amazing , I had the most wonderful time . The guide Elizabeth she is the best guide you can wish for . Very smart too she speaks fluently English and even Russian. Don t look any further trust me this is the tour you should be booking . In a day we saw so much of the region and we got time to walk around and to eat and enjoy . I just loved all of it and this is also because of Elisabeth . Look no further than!!! Book this trip you won’t be disappointed !

If was a nice overview of the French Riviera. The driver was very attentive and tried to make up for the fact that I was the only English speaking person in the group of 7 Spanish people. It made for a less than pleasant experience. She should be commended for her efforts.

You get to see many surrounding towns all packed into one day. Nicole was great!

this tour was a huge mess and disappointment. i flew into Nice from Paris for this tour only to be informed via email that my tour was cancelled due to not enough people. this was the highest level of irresponsibly and inhuman, knowing quite well that all other tours would have been filled up. he offered to refund, which i am yet to see. i was so devasted and finally decide to book a private tour of $410 meant for 2 people but was alone. thank Gid for my new tour guide. i will not recommend this for even my enemies. very bad bad business.

Beautiful places were covered but would have helped to have gotten a better guide. Guide's English accent was incomprehensible at times which was disappointing. Her driving was at times also quite dangerous and not smooth. There was also an incident where we asked if we had time to head to a nearby vantage point to take photos, but as we were walking she chased from the back saying the photos should have been taken before lunch. If this was the case then why did you say ok when I first asked if there was time for photos?

Had a great experience on this tour! Our tour guide, Raphael, was such a friendly tour guide and was hilarious! We really enjoyed his tour and fun facts about each place we went to. We also spent a good amount of time in each place, which was my favorite. He was also a very good and safe driver. We really enjoyed visiting all these wonderful places around the French Rivera. The only area of improvement, which is not a fault of Raphael, but the tour company, was the pickup point. For the hotel pickup, for whatever reason, even though our hotel was in Nice and maybe a 8 mins driving distance from the service area, the tour company was not flexible enough to just come to pick us up directly at our hotel and so we had to spent 30 mins walking to the meet up location. But other than this hiccup, the tour itself was amazing and we loved the tour and our tour guide.

i can't say enough about dennis, our tour guide. he was fantastic. so personable and had all the details of just about everything was saw and did. if he didn't know something, which was rare, he'd say so, which i appreciated.

Elton was great! We really enjoyed spending the full day exploring Nice and taking in the beautiful scenery. It was a lovely way to experience the area, and Elton helped make the day even more enjoyable. We came away with wonderful memories and were glad we chose this experience. My only drawback was that the van felt a little cramped, especially for a full-day outing. I understand that space can be limited on a group tour, but a bit more room would have made the ride more comfortable. Overall, we still had a great time, and we appreciate Elton for making it such a memorable day!

We had such a wonderful experience with Nicole as our tour guide in the French Riviera! She was warm, kind, responsible, and incredibly professional throughout the entire trip. She genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible and went above and beyond to make our time memorable. Nicole made sure we were able to see and experience as much as possible, while still making the day enjoyable and comfortable. She was also so thoughtful about taking plenty of photos for us and making sure we captured all the special moments and beautiful places along the way. The itinerary is pretty cool, you get to see everything in a single day and have enough time to explore. The guide was also amazing, he gave a lot of information and was humorous. Overall I would really recommend this tour if you are a bit short of time and want to see a lot otherwise it is a bit tiring to wander around all day. If you have time you can opt for the half day tour but I would still recommend the full day tour it is really fun.

Gouda, our guide, picked us up at Hotel Suisse, a 10 minute walk from our hotel. This was a shared tour, but the other party had to cancel so our family was alone for most of the day. Our first stop was Promenade des Anglais, where we had a great view of Nice. We then went to Vieux Eze, a small village on the top of a hill. We spent some time touring and shopping at Parfumerie Fragonard. Gouda then drove us to Monaco. We saw all the famous sites, including the Casino, Hotel de Paris, the cathedral where Princess Grace was married, and parts of the Grand Prix route. We had lunch at a local Italian place. After picking up another group, we proceeded to Cannes, the Christmas market in Antibes, and St. Paul de Vence. The last stop was particularly special. A beautiful town with narrow streets. It was a busy day. Gouda was knowledgeable. He walked with us through Monaco, but gave us time to ourselves in other locations.

I never took the tour because I was significantly misinformed by your company's booking platform. I paid for a boat trip; however, , your driver informed me that the excursion was actually a bus tour. Because this was completely different from what I booked, I immediately canceled on the spot with the driver, who accepted the cancellation. Your company failed to provide the service that was advertised and purchased. Refusing a refund under these circumstances is unacceptable. I expect a full reimbursement to my original payment method immediately. Thank you . A very dissatisfied customer

There needs to be clear explanation about the tour on TripAdvisor. It looks like a boat tour from description but it’s a small mini van tour across the riviera with small stops of 10-15 mins. But the guide was very helpful and friendly.

Marion was wonderful. She kept us on our schedule so we got to see everything that was on the tour. The Mercedes was air conditioned and always waiting for us. Lots of driving from place to place but we saw enough of each city — to come back. Lots of photo stops. I would have excluded the perfume factory and spent more time in St. Paul Vence and Antibes. It’s a busy tour and worth it. You could not possibly do all this by train ! I hope to do more of these tours. Viator provides you w professional locals and as they should. Don’t sit in the back of u have van if you have car sickness.

The trip itinerary makes sure you manage to see everything. It's a long day and you don't get much time in each place but it's a great day out if you're not in Nice for long.

The tour itself would have been lovely if not rushed by the tour guide. We were on such a strict schedule that it was difficult to relax and enjoy the time in each beautiful village.

Unfortunately my trip was cancellked as there weren't sufficient customers. The operator indicated that I couid get on another trip the next day but I was able to take advantage. I asked if there was another trip I could sign up for and they signed me up for a 1/2 day trip of Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo. The trip to the various municipalities was nice, but the tour guide left alot to desire for. He was more like a driver and provided minimal narrative. He was very excited about Formula One and had much to say about that. At the beginning of the tour, we passed by the Nice Library. If one of the passengers would not have asked what the structure was, we would not know. The pick up and drop off to my hotel was very good. I would recommend the 1/2 day trip although I would have preferred we skip EZE and focus on Monaco and Monte Carlo.

George was an excellent tour guide, took us to all the main sights of the French Riviera. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. Overall we had an incredible day out.

This is a long day tour specially on a very hot day(heat wave), but made easy by Rafael who’s been very well informed, pleasant, and kind. My wife forgot her umbrella in the van and Rafael drove back and gave it to her. Good job Rafael!

Booked this trip as I wanted to explore the surrounding areas of Nice as a full day tour. For our booking, we were unable to set the pick up spot to our Airbnb and when the company checked in with us prior to the tour was unable to update the pickup spot so we had to travel 10 minutes from our stay. Luckily our driver was able to drop us off closer at the end of the day as it was pouring. We also spent about an hour finding another family who had gotten off a cruise to book this tour which kind of pushed our schedule a bit. Our guide and driver, Raphael was great and helpful. He was super informative about the different areas. Unfortunately we had traveled to Monaco during F1 so we were unable to see Monaco in its natural beauty. Cannes was a bit underwhelming with the crowds and the impending rain and traffic so there wasn’t much time to actually explore. Overall good trip and would recommend if you want a taste of the different areas of the French Riviera. Price was reasonable as well.
