Well, you will discover the exact stone where he sat to paint "la table devant le village" in 1968, you will take pictures of the village from the top.

Had an amazing morning with Mago! He was super engaging, had alot of stories, showed and told us so much about the history of Monaco, Eze and Saint-Paul. He's also an amazing photographer haha! Thanks for a fun time out
We had the most wonderful day touring with Mago. He knew so much about the history of the area and had access to some of the most exclusive places. Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our day. We saw more and learned more than I ever expected. I would definitely book other trips with Mago and recommend you do so as well.
The experience with Unique Tours and Mago as the tour guide was exceptional. He arrived on time, displayed expert knowledge of the areas visited, and accommodated our requests for refreshment stops, yet still kept the tour schedule. I would book again without hesitation Unique Tours Riviera. The only caution is that this particular tour requires navigating a number of stone steps. If you have mobility concerns, you may wish to check in advance.
This tour was fantastic…because it wasn’t a tour…it was an experience. Mago read our family instantly and connected to us by name. He tailored the interests to a history buff, a shopper, a photographer, a teenager and a combo of all. We experienced the history, story, architecture, art, influences, personality, culture, tastes and nuances. He made us feel like these unknown treasures of our lives had been found and made sure we could take them home. Pauses and breaks to rest and take in the sights. An unhurried custom pace to ensure we did not miss key elements or moments but could still go and explore and discover as well. He flexed and could have gone for hours or moments depending on our interest. Not a question went unanswered. His degrees in history and certified tour guide status all came through for a remarkable experience. He connected our existing knowledge and awareness of history and where we came from or what we knew to this area. Touring with Mago was like connecting with a dear friend or distant family member eager to show us an area he loved so we could fall in love too. Mago knows everyone and multiple languages. He bridged gaps in translation, walked us into areas others cannot go, made sure we had the best views, best timings, and best moments. As if this areas was not enough reason to return…Mago himself made us plan our next trip back. From artists and celebrities to personalities and perfectly timed use of technology to take us to all moments in time…Mago is an exceptional pro with friendliness and human relations skills that make him the envy of his guide industry. We will be back and recommend him to all our family and friends. Do not miss this experience with a guide par excellence!
Eze and Saint-Paul de Vence are definitely places to visit while in Monte Carlo. Beautiful areas that should not be missed. Our guide Mago was very knowledgeable and interesting. I never stopped smiling the entire tour.
Amazing trip. Driver was very nice and friendly. He knew all the details and sights around town. 100% recommend.
Mago took us on what became a highlight of our honeymoon. He was extremely friendly; we wished we had time to get drinks with him after the tour. His gems of knowledge pertaining to medieval architecture and various eras of art history that he would weave into the tour went above and beyond what we expected; and, likely, well beyond what you would get in a more general tour by a non-certified tour guide and/or in larger groups. He described the process of becoming a certified tour guide, and based on his description, he essentially has a PhD in history. In a nut shell, that’s what you’re getting with this experience: a man with a PhD in history taking you on a tour that is in line with his personal historical interests. Setting aside his intellectual strengths, It’s clear he’s loved in his community. When we went to Eze, he was able to sneak us into an exclusive resort (thanks to his connections) that had an incredible view back at Nice; and from there, he took us to his favorite bakery in town. Every local we encountered with him throughout the tour greeted him with a huge smile. He takes the experience he knows he’s providing seriously, and it’s obvious he understands how important the tour is to his guests. He was constantly stopping us to take the best pictures, and demonstrated he’s put in the extra-curricular effort to develop his photography knowledge/skills beyond a simple lay understanding. All in the interest of preserving the memories for his guests as best as possible. In St Paul, his art history knowledge shined through. From discussing the shift in the Catholic Church which gave way to the Baroque style, to the history of a hotel/restaurant where many originals from seminal artists who stayed and worked there hang, to Picaso’s inspiration for Cubism; he was easily the most impressive and personable tour guide we enjoyed throughout our two weeks in France and Italy.
This was an incredible private tour through some of the most beautiful places of France. Mago was absolutely incredible with his knowledge of history and showed us incredible gems of the country. My mom and I had an incredible time with Mago and I highly recommend him!!
We were blessed with a half day tour with Mago. The destinations exceeded already high expectations and Mago’s deep insights and sense of humour elevated the experience to a bucket list level. Mago’s English was perfect. We quite enjoyed the French language lessons he weaved into our day. Mago took special care to cater to our interests including refreshing drinks in a most scenic location in Eze and specialty shops throughout the tour. His depth of knowledge of history, art, architecture and local history was first rate. He shared all generously. It was beautiful, relaxing and most of all fun and informative. I wished our day did not end. Highly recommended!
Such a knowledgeable and friendly guide around the Cote D’Azur. Knew the places, people and locations to make it a very unique afternoon.
Unique Tours Riviera puts on an incredible tour. Mago, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about every place that we visited. This was a 5 hour tour of 3 or 4 places. Eze and Saint Paul de Vance were the highlights for us, but every stop had its own special beauty! Not only was Mago knowledgeable, he really made the experience very personal. Very professional in every way! He also went out of his way to help me with an issue I had in obtaining our key to the apartment we rented while in Nice. We ended up having to load our luggage into his vehicle for the tour, then at the end of the tour he took us to go pick up the key then back to our apartment where he stayed until he was sure we were able to get in. He was a lifesaver for us. Thanks for a really wonderful day and all your help! I would highly recommend this tour, or one of many he has to offer!
So happy we got to spend time with Mago. He was an incredible host and made the tour very interesting! I would recommend this tour for anyone.
"We truly hit the jackpot with this tour! As a history enthusiast, I was thoroughly impressed by Mago’s exceptional knowledge of French and European history. Every location we visited was absolutely incredible. This tour was a highlight of our trip and made it an unforgettable experience!" Thank You! Renae
We had an absolutely fantastic private half-day tour of Eze and Saint-Paul de Vence with Mago as our guide. Mago was incredibly engaging, bringing history to life with his great humor and extensive knowledge. He was accommodating with both pickup and drop-off, ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. His passion for history and art made the tour truly memorable, and his ability to tailor the experience to our interests was impressive. Despite a rainy day, Mago's energy and enthusiasm made the nearly seven hours fly by, leaving us with unforgettable memories of these stunning locations. Highly recommended!
This was a great way to start the vacation off and see sights. The tour guide/drive was exceptional!
We had a lovely time even though it rained most of the day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend this tour.
Eze and Saint-Paul de Vence are beautiful examples of medieval towns on the French Riviera. The settings and the vistas were breathtaking. Our guide, Mago, was outstanding. He was engaging and very knowledgeable. His passion for this area was infectious. He made the experience special.
First of all, I would like to thank Mago for providing us with the best tour experience during our trip to France. We had a wonderful time in Eze and Saint-Paul de Vence. When we first met Mago, I thought they had sent us an American or Canadian as our tour guide because his English was that good. Mago brought an iPad with him to show us the history of France and all the background information about the tour. We learned a lot and highly recommend booking this trip, as it will truly enhance your experience in France.
I had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable tour with Mago Voraev, the owner of UniqueTours Riveria in Cannes. From the moment we set foot on the tour, Mago impressed us with his wealth of knowledge, engaging storytelling, and attention to every detail. He led us on a journey through history and fun facts that left us in awe and fascination. One of the many things that stood out about Mago was his genuine care for our group's well-being. Not only did he provide us with a comprehensive and thorough tour, but he made sure that we were comfortable, entertained, and fully immersed in the experience. By the end of the tour, he had us back to the Scarlet Lady right on time, ensuring that our day was perfectly rounded off.
Exceptional beautiful tour! Amazing knowledgeable friendly guide!! Made it so much fun!! Took photos, time to shop!!
This tour was so wonderful! Our guide, Mago, was able to give us so much history in such a way that we all loved it! He was flexible and made the tour personal to us. It was incredibly memorable.
Magi was an amazing and very knowledgeable Guide. He was very engaging and ensured us a very memorable tour. As we encountered every point of interest during our tour, Mago took the time to give not only key points relating to the areas, he also provided an enrichment of history to help us better understand how things happened to get to where we are today. Simply amazing tour which I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a historical lesson in cultures and regions.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Eze & Saint-Paul de Vence Private Half-Day Tour. Our guide, Mago, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to every detail. Mago's insights and stories brought the history and beauty of these stunning locations to life. The tour was well-organized and perfectly timed, allowing us to fully enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. I highly recommend this tour and Mago as your guide for an unforgettable adventure!
We booked a half day tour with Mago and it was awesome. Mago is a wonderful guide - he loves history, explains the reasons behind things, love football, cars, celebrities. And he has an excellent command over English.
Mago was exceptional…he was knowledgeable, had great interpersonal skills and had a true passion for his work. He was well liked by all and kept the interest of tourists of all ages!
This day trip to Eze and Saint Paul de Vence is wonderful. The guide Mago made the experience special. He is so kind, respectful and knowledgeable. We learned a lot on this excursion and he goes at your own pace. The villages are so charming and I highly recommend going here if you are in the French Riviera region. Mago does other trips in the area via Unique Tours and I regret not doing those with him. The extra TLC you get is the difference between a blah tour verses a spectacular one.
This tour was one of the best we have ever been on! Our guide, Mago, was amazing. He not only has an incredible background in art history, but also has extensive hospitality and guide degrees. He showed us all of the things you would expect on a tour, but more importantly he knew about the secret places and stories that most tourists never see or hear about. He tailors the trip to your interests and will dive deeper into whatever interests you and move on from things you don't. Mago will also take you to the best Gelato place and best art galleries! If you want to see Eze and Saint-Paul this is your tour, period!
We booked this half day tour and were very impressed with this company. They were quick to reply beforehand and answer all of our questions. They were flexible and very professional. Great communication. Mago was an excellent tour guide. He paid attention to each of us, learned our names and our interests. He made sure to point out things based on those interests. He was so engaging and brought a lot of energy. Mago seemed to be knowledgeable about every subject we threw at him. He was extremely interesting and blended history, art, architecture and cultural information in a way that kept us entertained the entire time. At the end of our tour he made a reservation for us at a local restaurant in Nice that we would never had found on our own. It was an amazing and interesting meal.
Mago, as the name implies, was a magician with the time and the sights visiting Eze and St Paul de Vence. He knew the best sights and views, but also explained the history and fun back stories. He was exceptionally prompt and great about responding to my emails. I don’t hesitant giving him a ten out of ten and feel excited to strongly recommend him. Great job Mago! We really enjoyed the tour and learned so much. Bruce Powell
From Canne to Nice to Eze to St Paul de Vence. The pictures over looking Nice and the snow on The French Alps in the distance. An education is the Frech way of life caght me by surprise. Nice job on the history lessons and the mini class on learning to speak French. Our guides energy level was through the roof. Don't ever change!
Mago is a wonderful, personable, and funny guy. He is such a tremendous wealth of information! He knows so much about history, architecture and art. Actually, he was well versed in a wide array of areas. Our trip was filled with gorgeous views, beautiful sites, and the lovely quaint villages of Eze and St Paul de Vence. The five hours flew! My husband and I are so happy we booked this tour. Thank you, Mago!
We had a wonderful tour with Mago of Eze and Saint Paul de Vence. He was friendly, funny and professional, and catered the tour to our interests (beautiful views and art). He's a walking encyclopedia of fun facts and stories, and we enjoyed our morning with him. Highly recommend!
Mago was an excellent tour guide grew up in Nice so knows a lot of history about it a lot of cool places to go and eat. Comfortable minivan with Air conditioning. He had a plan for the tour but let us Adjust it according to our needs. Thanks Mago.
We booked this tour whilst staying in Nice and because it misses out Monaco, which we have been to several times previously. Mago is a wonderful guide, very well spoken, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He will tailor the tour to your needs and even though we got stuck in traffic due to an accident, he added extra time to make up what we lost. A notable point is that Mago likes to accompany and guide his guests walking around Eze and St Paul de Vence whereas many guides just give you "free time".
From the moment Mago picked us up we knew we were going to have a special day. Mago has a true talent of making his guests feel comfortable while filling them with knowledge and in depth historical facts. He also has a wonderful sense of humor and had us laughing most of the day. Within 20 minutes we felt we had a lifelong friend. Mago’s passion for what he does truly shines while on his tour, you can see he absolutely loves what he does. Honestly, we will never take a tour in the Nice area with any other tour guide - it will always be Mago. Scott, Melanie, and family.
Mago is the best tourist guide we ever had, he is very knowledgeable about the history and he really knows how to make the best experience for the tourist, he took the time to take pictures when ever we wanted , eat an icecrean ,stop and buy a sourvenir at the sametime explaining all the details of the different sites we visited. You don't feel rushed and you cover everything. After the tour he becomes your friend. Hands down we would not choose another guide but him, looking forward to our next visit in Nice France and contact him again. Thank you Mago you are the best ! Javier, Diana & Javier.
Mago picked us up promptly at our hotel. He tailored the tour for our needs and offered valuable information at both locations. We loved Eze, but we’re surprised how much more we liked Saint-Paul de Vence. I will recommend Mago to my friend traveling to Nice this summer.
Eze and St. Paul de Vence were easily worth the trip and fantastic stops on our tour of southern France. Mago was fantastically knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. Highly recommended.
La gentillesse de Mago et sa compétence. Les explications étaient pertinentes et les sujets abordés avec dynamisme.
