Great adventure in the South of France Countryside. Fatima was an amazing driver and guide! The tour of the villages is the main part of the tour with one winery at the end.

Great experience! Visited three villages that we would not have been able to see without this. Phenomenal views from high up; makes for great pictures! Fraginard factory was interesting and happy we saw it. Our guide, Fatima, was fantastic and a great driver on the narrow hilly roads. Would highly recommend.
Tour provided transportation via van with other parties to parfumerie in Grasse, two small hill towns and a small eclectic winery with mediocre wines. Guide spent more time talking about herself than history/geography etc. Not worth the 125euro/person charge.
We booked a day trip to Grasse, the perfume factory, Valbonne, Goudon, and Domaine de Source winery. Our guide, Xavier, was fantastic and had so much local knowledge. The amount of time in each place was perfect. We loved everything about our day in the countryside outside of Nice.
This tour was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip to Nice and les alentours. Our guide Xavier was knowledgeable, warm and kind, giving us plenty of historical and cultural information that really brought the landscapes to life as we travelled in the van. The tour offers a taste of several different places in the countryside that are different in their own ways, good if you want to see a lot in a day. Un grand merci! Christina
This tour included an inside look at the process of perfume production in Grasse, a pretty town perched on a hillside. We continued on to other beautiful hilltop towns, including Valbonne and Gourdon. I wish we had more time in Valbonne because it is so beautiful. We ended at a beautiful winery. Fatima was our tour guide to whom we owe a heartfelt merci for her skillful driving through some hair raising roads.
Fatima did an excellent job. Full day touring countryside outside of Nice. Lovely companions in our group
This was more than just perfume and wine in Provence. Our guide provided interesting cultural and historical info about each stop, and provided ample time to spend exploring and shopping before moving on to another area. The guide was a very good driver, and the van was spacious and comfortable Overall this was a highlight of our trip.
The day started off all wrong. The guide, albeit very nice, pleasant, informative and knowledgeable, was 30 minutes late. It was raining and traffic was even more horrific. We stopped at the Fragonard Perfume Factory in Grasse first. This was a pleasant, but rushed tour. Barely time to take the tour and grab a few soaps and perfumes. Then on to Valbonne. I would skip this town altogether, especially on Mondays as most of the town is shut down. There wasn’t any place to just grab a quick lunch or snack. We asked to get coffee at a restaurant in the main square and the waitress was very rude; did not smile one time and treated us like we were a bother. The on to Gourdon. I would use the time allocated to Valbonne and extend the time in Gourdon, a beautiful, quaint town at the top of a cliff overlooking the Riviera! Gorgeous! From there we were supposed to tour the Château de Crémat and sample glasses of the local Bellet wine. Instead we ended up at a tiny winery. It was beautiful but so disappointing. Overall a nice day but wouldn’t recommend unless revamped, especially for the amount we paid for this tour!
Great way to experience the provincial and smaller towns of the French countryside. We had an amazing and memorable day! Thank you Julien for an unforgettable day!
Sebastian was an outstanding tour guide, a wealth of knowledge and fun to be with for the day. He drove very safely and got us to all the interesting places. Great for recommendations for eating spots and places to visit. Ensure you book with Sebastian as he ensures you will have a fabulous time.
Could not have asked for a better tour. Our guide, Juliano picked us up on time, provided great commentary throughout the day, and ensured the entire group was well taken care of. A visit to Grasse shouldn't be missed when visiting the South of France and the ability to travel with such a small group allowed us to have a personalized experience in the perfume factory. Gourdon and Valbonne we the real stars of the day, and this tour gave ample time to explore the towns, do a bit of shopping, and even have a nice lunch. If you are looking for something outside of Nice to do, don't hesitate to book.
Fantastic tour around the surroundings of Nice. Especially the nature and the hospitality from our host was amazing. But also the visit to Grasse and Fragonard is a recommendation.
Juliano was a wonderful guide! He was so knowledgeable and kept the groups vibes going! The perfume factory was a very cool experience- wish we had more time to explore Grasse. The two stops were well worth it as well. The winery was fantastic. Wish we had more time to sample and wish we got more wine or snacks but none the less it was good. Well worth the money because you wouldn't be able to do it that inexpensively solo.
The lunch stop and the waterfalls were amazing. The fragrance factory felt a bit like a tourist trap, but I will say the women in our tour loved it and bought a bunch. The wine tasting was cute and I liked the family feel but our group didn’t love the wine. Overall we didn’t feel like the tour was worth the cost. Additionally our guide Victor was not great, felt like he didn’t know where he was going and his driving made us all motion sick. He was nice, but I think if we could have toured it all on our own tbh.
Traveling with a nice group and a great guide. Excellent driver. Perfume factory and wine tasting. Beautiful day
Our driver and guide Ben went out of his way to make our tour fantastic. We saw Grasse, perfume factory, lavender fields, waterfalls, beautiful views for family pictures, Gormand and a tour/wine tasting at a vineyard. It was a great day - highly recommend.
We had a very comfortable drive around the countryside. Just wish the guide spoke more to the group to enhance our understanding of the region. If he did so, he would definitely need a mic to help project to the back of the van.
Irene was our tour guide and she was amazing. So knowledgeable and personable. We learned so much about the region from her. The places we visited were all stunning, especially the small village of Gourdon. The perfumery was a hit with my adult daughters and my husband even said he learned so much. The wine tasting is quick but beatiful winery and 3 great wines we tasted. Please do be aware that the road up the mountain in the morning is VERY windy and narrow. People with motion/car sickness will have a rough time as did a child in our group. It's a tough tour for small children in general. Highly Recommend for adults!
Irene was a gracious and thorough host. While the start was a little rough, we stayed in Nice and were picked up at our Hotel 40 minutes earlier than first agreed because we had to pick another couple up in Cannes, 90 minute drive that time of day with traffic, which was brutal. Once we traveled to Grasse, arriving 2.5+ hours after leaving our hotel though it is only ~45 minutes away the tour was excellent. See the perfume factory and learning some of the history was fascinating. The visit to Gourdon and the views spectacular and ending with a lovely lunch in the medieval town of Valbonne. We thoroughly enjoyed our day other than the rough start.
I cannot recommend this tour enough. Our group had a fantastic time with our guide. He was a big part of what made the tour so memorable. Merci, merci, merci
Our guide, Zara, was absolutely fabulous! So funny, personable, and navigated the steep/curvy mountain roads with ease! We really enjoyed seeing all the little towns and getting to know their history. We wish we had more time to spend exploring! In fact, you should consider cutting the wine tasting and looking around more small mountain towns. Excellent tour!
This was AMAZING. the tour guide was very friendly and it was one of the best views of my life in the French Alps. Perfumery was beautiful and had great souvenirs. Highly recommend for the price, especially because hotel pickup was included!
We had an incredible day with Zara! Not only was she an incredible and knowledgeable tour guide, she was very accommodating for our 8 month old son. The parfumerie was very interesting and enjoyable and we really loved the winery - we sampled 6 wines with a charcuterie board + a tour of the facility. But the highlight for us was the beautiful journey through the countryside and the stops at the villages - picturesque! 10/10 recommend!
What a wonderful experience. We were recommended by our Hotel, Canopy by Hilton in Cannes. Our driver George was prompt and just a joy to be with. He anticipated our needs and was so knowledgeable about the area. We did the country tour with wine tasting. A full day tour with just enough sightseeing finishing with a local wine tour and tasting. The views and lunch were the highlight in the town of Groupon. The views are spectacular and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour company and you must ask for George.
Marion was a great guide! Was very cool to drive through the hills of the Riviera and see towns I might not discover on my own. Wine tasting at the end was very good. We only had one other couple on the tour with us, so the mini bus was not crowded.
Fantastic way to experience the surrounding area while staying in Nice. The perfumerie was such a unique experience & felt quintessentially French. Our guide was lovely as well. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to easily experience more of the south of France.
Zarra was wonderful caring about the experience of her customers . I enjoyed seeing the medieval towns.
Okay value for rapid fire sightseeing in the Provence region, but not as advertised so cannot recommend this tour. Pros: 1) Good value of transport, it is expensive to rent a car in Nice, and for a little bit more money, you have a driver who navigated tight European village roads. The van was comfortable (for 6 people I would say) and it was really nice to have air conditioning in the unusual October heat. 2) We enjoyed visiting the Fragonard Perfumery in Grasse - we did shop in the nice shop but there was no pressure to buy anything 3) Really nice views of all the villages we visited, away from the tourist hotspots like Cannes, Monaco, Eze or Antibes Cons: 1) The wine tour and tasting at the end of the itinerary was supposed to be the highlight. However, it was the worst experience of the whole tour. We were taken to a different winery even though we had a conversation earlier on the day about it! We went to Domaine de la Source instead of Chateau de Cremat - huge difference in terms of the location and quality of wine! We only got 3 tiny glasses of wine to taste, and only the white was actually drinkable. The wine guide also didn't explained what we were drinking, she didn't even showed us the label of the wine. 2) When we got to the winery we asked the guide whether we were supposed to be in a different location, he said no, because Domaine de la Source is non-commercial and organic, implying that it is a better one. We didn't appreciate this attitude. He was overall a nice enough guy but lying is just not okay. 3) Rushed - you never have more than an hour in each location. It is hard to lunch within an hour in any places in the French Riviera.
We had a lovely day going through some smaller towns that we wouldn't have been able to reach on our own without a rental car, Gourdon was our favorite! The only reason I'm eating this 4/5 is that the itinerary stated that we would be going to Chateau de Cremat, which was the main reason I booked the tour, and we ended up going to a different winery instead, which we weren't informed of the change ahead of time.
We had a great tour with Leo, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Provence and Nice. He was very professional and personable. We would highly recommend this tour.
We had so much fun! Xavier was full of knowledge and so nice. Great experience for a group tour to see some of the countryside.
A little underwhelming. Our tour guide Michel was so very friendly, and the parfumerie tour was very informative and interesting, but the coach is very uncomfortable to ride in through the winding roads, and we didn't learn much about any of the places we visited. The wine tasting offered some of the smallest pours of any tasting I've ever been to, and it was sweltering hot. We didn't learn much of anything about the wine, grapes, or terroir, and our tour of the winery was very sparse. Again, the guide was fabulous, but the tour was very underwhelming.
In this trip you arrive to amazing places. But the drive is too long. We stopped for only short time in the villages.
Kara was a great guide. She had to deal with a slightly awkward situation of someone wanting a Spanish tour and she dealt with it well. We found we had a lot in common with another couple on the tour and had great conversations.
Everything was perfect! We got to See many beautiful places that we probably would’nt find by ourself. The guide was fantastic!
Very unorganized, we were picked up an hour early without communication. Unable to go to first site and no alternate route per driver. After 2 hours of driving, we pulled over for the first picture. Area choosen for lunch was poor at best… lunch should be provided for the cost of this tour. We have been on many tours, we do not recommend this one!
Nicholas led us on a wonderful tour which included a confectionery, an old town with amazing views, a center square where we were able to enjoy a nice lunch, a visit to a nice perfumery and finally a visit to a winery. In addition to taking us to 5 wonderful destinations we were also educated on the local area as we drove between stops. Overall a wonderful day exploring the region.
"Grasse, Gourdon, Valbonne and Wine Tasting Full-day from Nice Small-Group Tour" - is a mis-representation of this tour. The wine tasting took approximately 45 minutes with a completely dis-interested host and a driver who rushed everyone back to the vehicle to return to Nice - and this was the final part of the day.
Visiting to the Perfume factory was the best, we could easily have more time in the shop and more time in Grasse :)
We had a fun time on this tour! Kad was an excellent tour guide who answered all our questions and gave us a history lesson of the locations we visited. Our favorite part was the wine tour.
The experiences in Grasse and the wine tasting were amazing. Beautiful locations and knowledgeable staff made the visit wonderful. Leo, our guide is very proud of Nice and offered unlimited answers to all of our questions.
We booked this tour as a couple and had a great day. Our guide Cad was super friendly and started already in nice after pick up to five us some nice information about the city on the way to the first stop. We teally enjoyed the stops at Gourdon, Grasse and Valbonne. The tour through the perfumery qas also great. A highlight was the wine tasting. It was in a very nice atmosphere. Overall I was surprised how long we were on tour, we came back around 17:00. I can recommend this tour as it was super well organised and the guide was cool
Winery was so so . The driver was soon experince and so helpfully and knowledgeable. I would recommend this trip highly. Worth to spend day
Went to really interesting places and had a very nice experience of the countryside and villages around nice, the guide was awesome and the whole group ended up having dinner together later that day.
Very nice trip with several spectacular views! You get to see another part of the Provence than only the coastline. Gourdon was a very nice small village in the mountain. In Grasse we were on the Fragonard parfumerie and got a tour witch was interesting. In Valbonne we had lunch and got a short walk afterwards. On the Cremant castle we got a small tour around the castle and tasted some vine. Would have liked to spend a little more time in Grasse, maybe the lunch could have been there instead of Valbonne since the place that had open in Valbonne was not that great. For those who get carsick it could be a challenging trip cause the road is very curvy. Overall the tour was very nice and would absolutely recommend it!
This was an interactive and easy way to see the small towns surrounding Nice, France. The guide was fantastic, sharing stories, history, and insight on each activity. We were very lucky to be with a great group as well that made the experience memorable!
Our tour guide, Zara, and the others in our group were very fun. Zara was particularly knowledgeable about the area and very kind and accommodating (especially considering we had a timetable to stick to). Highlights were probably the time at lunch and shopping in the little towns. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the tour of Fragonard. Highly recommend this tour.
Excellent way to see some very picturesque Provençal towns and views. We did this on our last day visiting Nice, it was both interesting and relaxing!
We really loved Gourdon and loved exploring the French mountain towns. Our guide Zara was very considerate and knowledgeable. She was punctual and gave us free time to explore and offered to take photos. You cover a lot of ground, so it is a fair amount of time in the van. There is only one wine tasting at the end, at a famous vineyard back near Nice, so the wine tasting is not the emphasis of the tour. The perfume tour and wine tasting aren't lead by your guide. I would never have thought to explore these towns without a tour and really liked them. The winery, Chateau de Cremat, was not allowing folks inside the mansion since it was recently acquired.
