Côtes De Provence Small Group Day Trip With Winery Visits & Tastings From Nice

This was a beautiful tour of several wineries and was very well done! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

An excellent experience all around. Our guide and driver Laura (sp?) was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the wine business from vineyard management through winemaking, plus the ins & outs of the appellation bureaucracy. We asked some technical questions, as we are former vineyard & winery owners & operators, and if Laura wasn’t 100% sure of the answer, she asked the local winery representative and got clarification. She also had great recommendations on lunch spots. 👍👍, and would highly recommend 🍷

Our guide Laura is fantastic. Her knowledge of wine and wine making is outstanding. We learned so much about the local wines and how they are produced. She is basically a. Sommelier and her sense of humor kept us laughing. We saw three Vineyards and one was actually being used as a movie set for a new movie. Absolute breathtaking wine cave.

Me and my partner had an amazing day with this wine tour. Lara was fantastic and really made the entire experience special for us with her immense knowledge and comical personality. Lunch was delicious, and we lucked out with a slightly cloudy day so it was really a great experience overall. The wines were all high quality and we enjoyed that there was variety between rose, white and red wines.

I had a great time on this tour, trying different wines in the Provence region. Stefan was both professional and friendly. His driving was smooth and we had a great group with us. This is a great tour if you are short on, would like to try new wines, and see the French countryside. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great intro into some local Provence wineries close to Nice. I was traveling solo and the guide (and group!) were very welcoming. I learned some new tidbits about regional wine and the views were beautiful. The wine was of course good too!

Very interesting and informative wine tour. The time went by really quickly but we weren't rushed at any of the wineries. We went to lunch where the tour guide took us. It wasn't a choice in the matter, but the food was good and very reasonable. No time to look around the little town. But it was better to have more time in the wineries anyway. Would recommend this, especially if you love wines. You can have them shipped back home.

I had such a wonderful day exploring the French Provence wine region. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the vineyards were stunning, and the wine tastings were fantastic. It was the perfect combination of great wine, beautiful surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. A fantastic experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We had a fantastic wine tasting day and would highly recommend it. Stephan was a brilliant host—knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about wine, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. The wineries we visited were all excellent, each offering a fantastic selection of wines with generous tasting portions. There was a great balance between learning about the winemaking process and the technical aspects, while still having plenty of opportunities to sample the wines. The air-conditioned minibus was a welcome comfort, especially in the summer heat, and the small group size made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal.

This was hands down one of the best things we have done on our Honeymoon. Lara was an absolutely phenomenal guide, so so fun and equally knowledgeable about wine. There were only 8 in our group, the maximum number able to be in a group. We fit perfectly in a lux comfortable van - it was the perfect small wine tour group. The restaurant we had lunch at was delicious and reasonably priced (this is optional if you’d like to find your own restaurant). We would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is wanting to taste LOTS of yummy wine, with a fantastic guide. Thank you Lara!!

Pick up was easy, the hour drive was made wonderful by Laura’s conversation and explanations of the wine country. It is a full day, we visited 3 wonderful vineyards, with excellent tastings, discussion of the wines, wine making process and unique aspects of each stop. We were so happy with the experience.

We had a lovely December wine tour with Lara into Les Arcs Sur Argens. Saw three wineries of various sizes and outlooks, from traditional to almost experimental. We tasted about 20 different wines of all types. All of the wineries made excellent rosé as you’d expect but the real finds in my opinion were the unusual or uncommon wines made in ways that we had never seen. Provence does it differently than anywhere else and Lara was encyclopedic in her knowledge of all the techniques and all the wines we had. She never talked down to us and her enthusiasm and lively personality was infectious. She took care of all of the details of shipping the wine we bought back to the US. Well worth the money, lovely day trip out of Nice.

We greatly enjoyed the experience. Sandra was a terrific host and guide, with a terrific personality and a wealth of knowledge about the region and the wines. We traveled with another couple, and a family of four. Sandra’s big personality opened the door for all of us to become fast friends and raised the bar to new heights. Highly recommended.

Our tour guides name escapes me but, she was the blonde lady from England and she was hands down the best wine tour guide I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over the world doing these tours. The pickup area in the morning was easy to get to. Everyone was there early. We left on the dot and it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to the first vineyard. All three vineyards were excellent and absolutely stunning. The wine was so good and you try such a variety at each vineyard. We stopped after the second vineyard for lunch and my God was the food good. Get the truffle pasta. They’re big portions so it’s easily shareable. I would 100% go back with this company if in Nice again. We met some incredible people on this tour as well. We ended up getting more drinks and then dinner. You’ll meet great people and sample good wine.

My sister and I had a lovely day wine tasting! Our guide Lara was the best! She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and had lots of fun stories. The scenery was beautiful and the wineries she selected were perfect. We tasted a majority of roses, plus some interesting whites and reds. We were appreciative that she made a reservation in town for us, and we were happy to eat and chat with the others in our group. It was truly a fantastic experience we’d highly recommend.

What is the amazing day tour! Sandra is very friendly and experienced ! She shared lots of wine knowledge. It’s just like joining a party with friends. I will join this tour again if I back to Nice!

Lara was an amazing tour guide and extremely knowledgable and entertaining. Her humor and education about wine made for a really fun day! The time flew by, the wineries were beautiful and different from one another. Such a lovely day to see Provence. The only adjustment I'd recommend making is to only do lunch in the little town and skip the free time in the town since there is nothing to see there. Spend a little more time hanging out at a winery instead!

A great wine tour with lots of Rose! We went to three vineyards, each with plenty of samples offered to taste red, white and rose. Sandra, our tour guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgable and made the day very fun! Each of the vineyards were beautiful and unique. Only one of them, we were able to actually walk in the vineyards. Lunch in a small down was booked ahead and the food was great. Not much of a town to explore, very quiet.

This is so worth it! Sandra was so kind and a wonderful tour guide! She even booked a table for us ahead of time for lunch which was much appreciated because it took the stress out of finding somewhere to eat when we stopped on the way to the third vineyard. Each vineyard has its own character and Sandra gave us really interesting info on how the wines are made at each one.

This was a great tour! Plenty of wine. Our tour guide Lara was a native English speaker which made understanding her very easy! I would recommend for anyone who likes wine and wants to learn more about the making process, tasting process, and the tradition wines of the region. Lara was very knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions!

A wonderful tour of Cotes de Provence wines with a very knowledgeable guide. The chateaux we visited were all very different and all producing delightful wines. Our guide (Lara) made our trip fun and our group of eight all enjoyed the day.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Not only did we get our fill of rosé wines, we also learned about (and tasted) the whites and reds of Provence. There was also a fun mix of traditional styles and experimental wines — much of which we wouldn’t be able to find outside of France. Lara was also an incredible tour guide, which made the experience all the more perfect. Highly highly recommend!
