We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and everything was well organized. The hotel was comfortable, and we really appreciated the excellent service throughout our stay.

This is my third time staying at Radisson Hotel Nice. The location of the hotel is very nice. Close to the airport as well as to the bus, tram, and train terminal so it was easy to go around the city. Yazid, Irina and Betty are very accommodating too. They nicely explained the amenities and everything we can enjoy in the hotel.
Yazim and Jerome helped to check me in late night after a long train ride from Paris to Nice. Jerome made sure everything was comfortable for me after the initial check in, later that night. The room was perfect and Yazid help me reserve a free shuttle ride to the airport and wirh a proper bed for comfort.
The room was very modern but very clean and comfortable although I had difficulty adjusting the A/C, and discovered I needed my room card to operate the overhead lights at the entrance. The view was super with a direct view of the airport yet super quiet. There are heavy drapes to nlock the summer sun in tge morning, which really helps too. The bathroom was super clean and enjoyed an evening shower after a long train ride. So nice!
The breakfast area was airy and well lighted, the staff very organized and efficient as the lead person was strict but efficient. I loved the citrus infused water and fresh eggs. The croissant was not bad either. The ladies who assisted were very helpful and polite qhich made me feel comfortable.
After breakfast, Marie C. was super helpful to assist me with check out, the storage of mes valises (my baggage), abd reassured me that everything is all set and that I was good to go when I needed to part for the airport later in the afternoon.
Even though Im explicitly giving 5 stars to the individual indicators I decided to give an overall 4 stars due to "things the hotel cannot control".
Firstly what was good:
1 - yes the staff is friendly attentive and welcoming. I had a great time with many!
2 - rooms are good, beds are comfortable and the AC is superb.
3 - breakfast was ok, a somewhat restricted amount of options but overall I believe it was good enough for what it is
4 - you can walk easily from airport to the hotel; I got a tram to Gran Arenas when arriving but after realising how quick and easy was to walk from hotel to terminal 1 I just did at departure .
Now the not so good:
1 - the vending machine is a joke. The release system is quite dumb and our water bottle got stuck in the same. You could see other water bottles were equally stuck due to the poor arrangement of the mechanism responsible for releasing the products.
2 - for 2 or 3 nights there were some repaving on the street right under my window. Works started at frigging midnight!! and stopped around 2AM. They used a jackhammer and it was loud meaning I couldn't sleep for 2 hrs or so for a handful of days due to this construction work happening right in front of the hotel!
3 - there are dozens of tv channels and most of them are not working. Finding something in english was challenging normally only France24 english version and nothing else.
4 - The restaurant is below average. Food is at most ok if you are too lazy to reach the city or whatever. Prices are in par with Acchiardo, quality is indeed subpar. Service was a little erratic at the restaurant and they are holding World Cup matches over there; they claimed some tables were reserved and I was there to watch the match they put me in a corner I could barely watch anything. The "reserved" tables weren't occupied the whole night long!? so yes not a great service here as well.
5 - the location is indeed great but the access is somewhat a turn down. The Hotel is at the end of a block and one way is via a extremely busy road with heavy traffic and indigents roaming around cars begging; this way is also under renovation and the hotel leave their trash bins on that street. so imagine you are coming to a 4 star hotel and have to dodge the beggars and the trash from that side.
from the other side the pavement just outside the hotel is a disaster and there are dozens of cars parked there due to the proximity to the airport; a strong smell of piss and marijuana can be felt at times and overall arriving later here feels insecure due to the amount of people waiting in their cars to avoid paying the airports parking.
