Stand Up Paddle Boarding And Sunset Watching On Cai River

Very enjoyable, quiet, and relaxing experience on Cai River. Han (not sure of spelling), the owner of SUP and guide, is patient, calm, helpful, and personable. No problems communicating with Han. His tour office and departure point (50 meters walk in a narrow lane from his Vitamin Sea Travel SUP street sign. Ask Grabcar to stop at that sign.

I had a great time paddleboarding on the Cai River. Han was such a thoughtul guide and the surroundings were so serene and picturesque. The ride to the jetty was also fun as I got to see the outskirts of Nha Trang. I also appreciate the fact that activity wasn't cancelled as I was actually the only one who'd signed up for it that day.

It was a fun experience. I saw the sunset because there were many clouds. But the surrounding scenery and rice paddies were very impressive. The guide is very friendly and takes wonderful pictures for the participants. It was so nice to be in Nha Trang again!

This was a great thing to do gets you out of the city for a few hours to explore the other side of Vietnam 🇻🇳 the guide was amazing and it was so quite going around the rice fields and the views where stunning!!! He took lots of pictures as we went around and shared them with me before we left 👍

Very fun and special experience! The guide was really friendly and helpful. The guide taught us how to work with the SUP and we all managed to stay dry after the tour! We didn’t even need to take our phones as the guide helped to take photos. Very unforgettable way to explore Nha Trang and you may see some villagers and fishermen during the journey!

Staff were very good and friendly. The wind was quite strong, so we did not get to see the rice fields and plantation. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable afternoon paddling the Cai river.

Enjoyable and relaxing paddle boarding on the beautiful Cai river. At sunset a lot of swifts were flying over the water, catching insects - it was exciting! The guide was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for soothing and relaxing tour - I absolutely recommend it. Also, different weather can change your experience drastically.

It was wonderful. We had a great time and it was nice to do something in the countryside as opposed to the busy city or coastline. The host, Nguyen, picked a very scenic route down the river between different local farmlands, then took our time watching the sunset. He also took fantastic photographs so that we didn't have to worry about getting our own phones wet. Would highly recommend!

Just WOW This tour takes you leisurely along the river into rice fields away from the hustle of the city. You pass through small towns to get to the dock. HANH the guide is super sweet and will go at your pace. Don’t worry if you’ve never paddle boarded, you can do it standing, on your knees or seated, it’s all a nice workout. I highly recommend this activity to see another side of Nah Trang.

We were really nervous at first because we can’t swim. Hạnh our guide assured us after signing up that we will be fine. There were two others with us and all four of us panicked when we arrived and saw how fast the river was flowing. However, Hạnh was so patient and an excellent instructor and not to mention an excellent photographer. He showed us how to paddle down stream and how to steer. He pulled up next to us for support and took pictures. Thank goodness a boat came to take us back upstream after the sunset. This was a highlight of our trip to Nhà Trang and such a hidden gem. I highly recommend this experience and Hạnh as the guide.

Our group of 6 went with 3 other guests so it was very personal and fun. Our guide was mr Yasin and Hanh who was super friendly, welcoming and supportive! 10/10, definitely the highlight of our trip

I would do this every day if I could! I’ve been travelling all over Vietnam for the past month and this is easily my favourite tour. Would go back in a heartbeat if I could! The guide was so friendly and relaxed, it felt just like hanging out with one of my friends from back home. I’ve been feeling so homesick today as it is Norways independence day and everyone at home is celebrating that. This helped a lot! Thank you so much!

I had the pleasure of being the only one on Hanh's tour today, and in all honesty life is all the better for it. I feel thoroughly 'zen' after our afternoon floating about, disconnected, on the Cai River. Hanh picked me up from my hotel via motorcycle and drove the winding backstreets to a secluded little shack by the river. Here we prepared, had a mini-lesson in how to sit/stand/kneel on a SUP, and how to effectively use the paddle. Hanh's English wasn't the greatest, but his instructions were clear and understandable and made for a very peaceful afternoon. We paddled (seated first) in to a tributary surrounded by banana trees and rice fields, and adventured further down until a change in the tide. On making our way back, there was a little time before sunset so we stopped and simply existed on our boards on the river. I understand more now why surfers feel so at home on the waves. Simply "being" on the water, relaxing, staring at the mountains and sky was a delightful and necessary change of pace from city life. At sunset we paddled back to the main river, floated about for a few grand photos, and then slowly returned home once the sun had dipped below the horizon. For me, this whole experience felt a lot like 'hanging out with a mate after work'. Not much was said, but not much needs to when your surrounds are so blissful and the mood is so chill.

We had a great time paddling up and down the river, checking out the fields and watching the sunset. Le Tu was a patient coach... One of us didn't know how to swim but it wasn't a problem and we did quite well under his guidance. We were in town for a short time and this fit in with our schedule perfectly. It was a peaceful experience with lots of natural beauty around us.

The port is very easy to find with just about 20 mins with cab from the city center (i think they even do pick-up service from hotel). We met Tu & Sin who instructed us how to properly maneuver our stand up paddle board. They speak English very well, super supportive and enthusiast! + Once you hop on and begin to row, you will immediately find yourselves merging with the natural and if you are lucky, you will catch a stunting sun set on your board while enjoying a bottle of beer (tip: bring a can/bottle of your favorite drink with you)! - The only not so positive point is your arms might feel a bit tired after a long tour but its all worth it! A must try experience not only in Nha Trang but also in Vietnam for me.

It was amazing experience!! Away from crowds, not rushing anywhere, breathing the fresh air, drinking Vietnamese coffe on the way. Big thanks to our guide Dat, very devoted and positive person, who did a lot of great pics for us as well! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic time here. The instructors were so helpful, we were comfortable with our boards from the beginning. The views were fantastic, and it offers a very different side of nha trang than we saw around the coast. Peace, quiet, mountains, the river, everything was perfect. I recommend this activity to anyone visiting Nha Trang.

I have tried Sup one time before in the Philippines, but this one is much cooler! Nha Trang is very beautiful from the river view, and sunset watching experience is spectacular! Yasin is a great host who is funny, thoughtful and very patient to teach the techniques for beginners, and it’s very easy, suitable for anyone. If you get enough of the sea and touristic activities, try Sup with this team for an active, chilled and unforgettable afternoon! Highly recommended!

Fantastic afternoon of power boarding with Shin and the team! Scenic setting with great staff and quickly got the hang of power boarding - a good way to begin rather than the sea! Would highly recommend! Very cool power boarding at sunset.

It's not a difficult activity. Some people do feel uncomfortable if they stare long of the river. Nice experience. Enjoy quite and peaceful time on Cai River.

Had lots of fun trying SUP for the first time. It was very easy to paddle down stream but took some effort returning agaisnt the current. Stopped for a vietnamese coffee in between and had a chance to chitchat with out group and guide. Guide also helped to take photos for us.

I booked onto this tour with my partner and it was one of our favourite experiences in Vietnam. It was just the two of us doing it with our tour guide John. Both of us were beginniners but John explained how to do it well. The scenery was beautiful and something I will hopefully remember forever. After about half an hour of paddling down the river we stopped for a beer and chatted to John who spoke very good English and knew lots about the local area. We then paddled back and watched the sunset. I would highly recommend this experience, it's great value for money and a really fun way to spend the evening.

We joined to a SUP & Sunset watching tour in Cai river. Both of us are beginners for paddling, but our tour guide helped us and we quite enjoyed this precious experience. In our team there were 6 persons and we have a nice bond and enjoy drinking beer together after paddling! This is an absolutely worthful and reasonable to spend a half day!

This is the first time I experienced paddle boarding but I was really excited. The tour guide, Mr Tứ is bery nice and helpful. He enthusiasticcally guide us and introduced us a lot of things. The river where we played is very clean with beautiful see-sight. This acyivity with Vitamin Sea is strongly recommended.

We have great time enjoy the tour along Cai river, the tour guide- Mr. Shin was so useful, he instructed us how to balance on the sup very carefully and take care every member on his tour. Moreover the landscape along the river was so beautiful ( the mountain, sun, flocks of bird moving to their nest , villages ...) Im original local citizen but i did not know such a amazing sightseeing near by my house, especially at evening when they pull you back the departure point , there are a night sky with thousand twinkle stars that you can not see at city , thanks to Vitamin Sea Travel. Highly recommend this tour for every one .

I see this activity on their fan page and decided to give it a shot as I have not tried stand up paddle before. They will give you an instruction on how to balance and control the sup, so no worry if you are beginners just like me. On the way they will stop for the snail-catching activity which is interesting. Nha Trang coast faces East so hardly you can find a sunset watching point. The sunset is just perfect especially when you are sitting on the paddle board, sip a cold beer and relax. The last part is so much fun when you are lying on the board, look up to the starry sky while they pull you back to departure point by a boat. They also offer a delicious light dinner on the floating house cooked by a local. Definitely a must-try experience!

I called the office number and you booked it that morning. Katook was kind to inform you about the price and pick-up service, and provided free hotel pick-up and drop-offs regardless of the distance. The river was so beautiful, it smelled like a flea, and the potato life smelled like a stink. The day we had scheduled was right after Beyonce, where the river was dusty and we couldn't see the rain in the dark clouds, but it was beautiful enough. I was able to be reassured by the peace I had come out of a busy city. If you can't swim, your first paddling is no problem and you don't have to be nervous. If you are looking for tranquility, romance, relaxation, and a colorful experience, this is a great choice! If you're tired of the tourist destinations that everybody in Natrang is going to, it's powerful!

My husband said he wanted to try and find it, so I booked a trip. The day before the tour, the guide told me the pickup number and picked it up on time. Havana Hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the Kaihang shipyard. We arrived and the guide greeted us, explained to us and wearing a lifeguard. It was fun as soon as I sat down and started knitting. I went a long way, and I gave her a little rest and free time. The tour with many people was so difficult for me that this tour was a really hiling experience for me. I felt the calmness and quietness of Kaijang. Lying and enjoying, sitting and enjoying, the sun is hot and the shade is so cool. I waited for the moment of grief and the guide took a shot. The guide was so kind and I was so grateful for the passion of shooting every single moment, making videos and not missing one! Natran's 5-night regular paddle boat tour schedule was the most satisfied! Try it! Feel the serenity and tranquillity of Natran Kaiyang!

Ich bin zum gebuchten Zeitpunkt am Treffpunkt des Sea Star Hostel erschienen. Es war niemand dort. Nachdem ich 20 Minuten gewartet habe, habe ich den Veranstalter angerufen. Er teilte mir mit, dass aufgrund des Wetters die Tour nicht stattfinden kann. Der Betrag wird erstattet. Dass es aufgrund von Wetter abgesagt wird, ist okay für mich. Aber!!! Dann erwarte ich eine Info. Hätte ich es so hingenommen und hätte auf ein Telefonat verzichtet, wer weiß ob es die Erstattung gegeben hätte. Schlechter Service!!

Super beautiful landscape and the guide takes photos and videos of you. I was there twice, once alone and once with my girlfriend. And I enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature.

Tu ist ein sehr zuvorkommender, lustiger und informativer Guide. Die Kommunikation lief einwandfrei und er ist für uns auf einen Tamarinden Baum geklettert :) wir durften die Frucht mit Krabbensalz probieren! Es war unser erstes mal auf dem SUP und es war anstrengender als gedacht, aber Tu hat uns gut über den Fluss geführt. Am Ende haben wir noch einen tollen Sonnenuntergang vom Wasser aus angeschaut!

Actually it was very cool, but the tour guide was a little overwhelmed with the situation. 8 persons: 1Guide in the group were also non-swimmers and the guide I don't think knew about it. (I came up with it myself in conversation) The guide was so overwhelmed with his SUP himself that he could not keep an eye on the participants. Tip from me, if you want to make the trip, take a waterproof bag so you can store your personal belongings (purse, etc.). the non-important items are stowed at the starting point/end point. the description says that we can be retired by boat and enjoy the sunset during this on the board. Unfortunately we had to accept this disappointment and row back (against the direction of the river) and of course it got dark and nobody was prepared (flashlight) Perhaps the organizer should reconsider the concept. By and large it was just renting a board and paddling yourself (the paddles couldn't be fixed-length) not recommended for a beginner!

Today, August 13, 2019, we have carried out this activity. We hired her yesterday afternoon through TripAdvisor and she got confirmation as we went. The experience has been amazing from start to finish and our monitor unbeatable. A serious and highly recommended Local Enterprise. And the landscape in which the activity is practiced is incredible

Nơi mà bạn có thể hít một hơi thật sâu và quên đi mọi thứ. Chỉ có bạn và tâm hồn bạn kết nối với thiên nhiên. Mọi thứ thật dễ sàng sau mười phút làm quen với việc thăng bằng, còn lại dòng sông sẽ là của bạn. Chuyến đi thật tuyệt vời.!!!
