Nha Trang Local Food Tasting & Sightseeing Tour By Scooter

This food tour was definitely the highlight of our trip in Nha Trang. My partner and I were a bit nervous booking a bike tour with my elderly parents but the guides were very understanding and took great care of them, like family. The food choices were excellent and they explained each dish and the best way to eat them. An explanation of all the major landmarks while scooting around the city was a great introduction to Nha Trang. Huge shout out to our guides : Claire, Tam (single ready to mingle), Bibi, Dolly and Ray. We ended the night with great food, wonderful company and sore bellies from laughter!

We had an amazing food tour in Nha Trang! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guides, Lala and Rey were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the local food culture. We visited five authentic local eateries and sampled a great variety of Vietnamese dishes, from seafood and savory street food to delicious desserts. Every stop felt unique, and I learned the stories and traditions behind each dish, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The pace of the tour was perfect, the portions were generous, and we never felt rushed. We traveled on scooters and it was a fantastic way to explore the city while tasting food I probably would have never found on my own. I highly recommend this food tour to anyone visiting Nha Trang. Doing the tour on the back of scooters is such a buzz and an excellent way to see the city. I had an amazing time on this tour! Anna was my guide and she was the sweetest. We stopped at 5 different places to experience local food, all being very delicious. The Bánh Xèo was my favourite! Each stop, Anna explained the food and showed me how to eat it. We also talked about so many other things and she taught me a lot about Vietnamese culture and life. She was a great driver and made me feel safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to eat like a local!

I had a fantastic time on this food tour with Lala! As someone who isn't used to riding on a scooter, I really appreciated how safe and considerate she was. She rode carefully, adjusted her speed to make me comfortable, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The food selections were excellent and clearly well thought out. In fact, I enjoyed several of the places so much that I went back to revisit them after the tour. It was a great introduction to authentic Vietnamese food beyond the usual tourist spots. Lala was also wonderful company. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and shared lots of interesting insights throughout the evening. I would highly recommend choosing Lala if you're looking for a fun, authentic, and delicious way to explore Vietnamese cuisine. Just one piece of advice: arrive with an empty stomach—you'll need the extra space!

We don’t usually do tours, but we thought we’d give this one a try—and we’re so glad we did. It was an excellent evening from start to finish. Johnson and Tee were fantastic guides and hosts. They contacted us earlier in the day to ask about allergies, food preferences, and any special requests, then tailored the cafés and food selections to suit our tastes perfectly. What stood out most was that this didn’t feel like a standard tour. It was clear they weren’t simply taking us to places because they knew the owners; the experience felt genuinely bespoke and thoughtfully curated. This tour was absolutely fabulous!! We did this as a family of 5 - 2 parents & our 3 sons aged 20, 18 & 15. We wanted our kids to eat some traditional Vietnamese cuisine from little local hideaways & this certainly delivered! Johnson, Tee, Trinh, Thao & Trang picked us up at our accommodation & we embarked on our evening of culinary delights! There were some dietary requirements in our group & this was all taken into account. We had Bun Bo Hue, Bahn Xeo , Papaya Salad, Beef jerky, Grilled Beef with buttery Baguette (with special sauce) & ended the feast with dessert options of fresh fruits, coconut icecream, creme brulee or fruit smoothies. So much delicious food & 5 very full bellies! (Even the 3 boys were full!!!) I can't recommend this tour enough! We felt safe on our motorbikes at all times, English speaking tour guides & a mix of history along with our food experience. Thanks Johnson, Tee, Trinh, Thao & Trang!! 😁❤️

We had such a great time on the food tour with Katie and her team! They showed up right on time, checked in about our allergies, and took us around some really amazing local spots. They were super attentive and easy to chat with, handing out wet wipes before each bite and sharing things about Vietnamese culture along the way. Katie kept everything running smoothly, picking all the good places, handling the orders, and showing us how to enjoy the food like a local. The whole experience felt organised yet relaxed, and personal in the best way. Highly recommend!

If you really want to experience Nha Trang, do it the right way—on the back of a motorbike. This tour with Tam and his team wasn’t just about food, it was about seeing the city the way it’s meant to be seen—alive, fast-moving, and full of character. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 kids, which could have easily been chaotic, but Tam’s team handled it like pros. Everyone felt safe, comfortable, and surprisingly relaxed the entire time. They were incredibly patient with the kids and made the whole experience feel effortless. What made this tour stand out was where they took us. Not the polished, obvious spots—but the kind of places you’d walk right past without a second thought… and completely miss out. Every stop felt intentional, authentic, and seriously delicious. And honestly, riding through the city on a motorbike at night? That alone is worth it. It’s the kind of experience you just can’t replicate from a car or on foot. Excellent night out eating at Local food stalls. My guide was LaLa and she was amazing ! The food choices were terrific and dishes excellent. The locations were not “tourist “ food stalls so authentic and traditional local hang outs. Bun Bo Hue, Bahn Xeo , Papaya Salad and Grilled Beef with buttery Baguette were all delicious LaLa offered expert knowledge of all dishes , ingredients and cooking, also provided local knowledge about Nha Trang and took me to areas not mentioned in tourist books that were far more exciting. I was well looked after and care and attention shown to food allergies. LaLa communicated everything very well. Before the tour I was nervous about riding scooter in traffic but LaLa was an expert driver and I felt safe sitting on the back during rush hour. I am a Chef and I have done many food tours around the world and I can say 100% this was the the most informative, friendly, professional and fun tour guide and food tour I have attended. Would certainly recommend this tour ( please request LaLa !)

My husband and I are from the U.S. and spent 2 days in Nha Trang. We stayed in the city center, and honestly, it was very hard to find a variety of Vietnamese dishes. On our first day, we started feeling homesick and miserable from the heat and the lack of local food options. We even found ourselves missing Saigon, which we had visited right before coming to Nha Trang. Because we were so disappointed with the city center and VinWonders, we didn’t have very high expectations for the food tour. But LaLa (Phuong) and Bao completely turned things around for us. They made the experience so fun and memorable. We got to try bun bo Hue, banh xeo, bo la lot & BBQ, goi bo kho, and che Thai, all of which were delicious. I rode with LaLa, and it was actually my first time on a motorbike. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time—I wasn’t scared at all. On the way to each stop, she also shared so much about Vietnamese culture and pointed out local primary and high schools, which I really appreciated. My husband rode with Bao, and they had a great time chatting and getting to know each other. LaLa & Bao also went above and beyond by recommending many places for us to visit around Nha Trang. When we mentioned we were traveling to Da Nang next, they even gave us suggestions for markets to explore and foods to try there, which we really appreciated. Both LaLa and Bao were incredibly friendly, engaging, and easy to talk to. They truly redeemed what had been a disappointing experience in Nha Trang for us. If you book this tour, definitely request LaLa and/or Bao if you can!

Touring around Nha Trang on scooter with LaLa and BeBe, tasting local dishes and learning about local life was the highlight of our trip. We were looked after like family and felt safe at all times while trying a range of different dishes. We swapped stories about our lives and left feeling like we had been visiting friends. We cannot recover this tour enough.

Honestly, I was pretty cautious about exploring the food scene here because of my allergies, but LaLa, my tour guide, was a total lifesaver. She messaged me before we even met to check on my palate and what I can’t eat, then basically built the whole tour around me. Picked me up at the exact time and place. We went to these tiny local spots way away from the touristy areas—properly authentic stuff, not the traps. I actually got to eat like a local and it was such an unforgettable experience. She’s also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the history and culture, and on top of that, she’s a pro behind the wheel (I felt super safe the whole time). If you’re in town, this tour is a must have experience.

Fun tour, good nice people that take you. Hard to find them , they say the tower, but actually they’re across the street not at the tower frustration ——in the beginning they don’t wear company shirts. Good luck finding at meeting point. After you do find them, they’re very safe drivers and the food was very good and it’s been a little time and our stomachs are still fine.

The moped food tour adventure was the highlight of my visit to Nha Trang. LaLa was an outstanding host, taking me far beyond the typical tourist spots to the places locals genuinely love—many of which have been around for decades. Her thoughtfully curated tour included five different restaurants and more food than I could possibly finish, so definitely skip lunch beforehand. Along the way, I was introduced to dishes and hidden gems I never would have discovered on my own. LaLa also provided a fantastic list of restaurants and scenic activities for the following day, which made the experience even more valuable. I highly recommend LaLa’s food tour—and if I ever return to Nha Trang, I would absolutely book another tour with her.

It was very good and informative. We had been in Nha Trang for a few days and finding the food bland and boring after being in Ho Chi Men City. Last nights tour gave us so many flavour and options.

They took us to places that you’d never find on your own as a tourist. The food was amazing. Tuyet and Bibi were fantastic guides - very friendly and knowledgeable.
