Sao Viet Hotel

I've never seen anything more horrific, considering this hotel has 4 stars; I can't even imagine how they managed to get that high. The rooms are terrible, everything is extremely dirty, and there were ants in the room from the moment I checked in. After asking to have them exterminate them, clarifying that the worst numbers were near the kettle and on the bed (!), I was told yes, they'd cleaned it and you could check. As soon as I turned on the light, a ton of ants came pouring out from the kettle. The dirty spoons had been there since the second day of my arrival, even though they supposedly cleaned it daily. One day, they took away the dirty towels and didn't leave any clean ones, so I had to go down to reception myself. There was no hot water in the room when I checked in either. After I complained, it started working, but only for one day. After that, it never came back. I tried to run it for about 30 minutes, but it was pointless. We bought some fruit and asked reception for a knife to cut it. They said they'd bring it to our room, but we never got one. On the second day, we asked for one, and the receptionist spent a long time searching through the cabinets at reception, which was odd, and then wrote in the translator, "I didn't see a knife here today." The only human food for breakfast was fried eggs and a little fruit—specifically, watermelon and dragon fruit—the rest was simply inedible. We went there the first two days, then realized you can't get very far on eggs alone. I don't recommend it at all; the location may be great, but everything else is terrible.

The hotel is luxurious, clean, and beautiful. It's in a central location, close to the beach. Everything is fine. The air conditioning seems to be set to a general level, so it can be adjusted in each room.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable hotel, spacious rooms, good value for money.

Good hotel with nice rooms. Reception staff was not the friendliest but I would stay again in this hotel
