A rooftop bar featuring live music has opened at the Liberty Central Hotel. Its arrival immediately turned the evenings of local residents and nearby guests into an acoustic nightmare. It is a very strange idea to set up a "rock bar" on a rooftop in a densely populated area without any acoustic barriers to shield the surroundings. Loud live performances and drunken shouting late into the night prevent tourists and visitors from relaxing or getting to sleep. The loud music and shouting penetrate even through closed windows. Despite clear violations of Nha Trang’s noise regulations for evening and night hours (Decree No. 282/2025/ND-CP and QCVN 26:2025), the bar continues to operate every evening. This bar ruins the entire vacation experience in Nha Trang. I will never stay in the city center again, and I will advise my friends against staying here too. Our hotel is hundreds of meters away from the bar, yet sleeping here is impossible! The music level is nearly double the legal limit (video attached). Noise limits for commercial zones and restaurants are set at 60 dBA for the evening (18:00–22:00) and 55 dBA for the night (22:00–06:00). Furthermore, "Area B" regulations—which apply to ordinary housing and accommodations such as residential buildings, detached houses, hotels, and guesthouses—limit noise to 55 dBA during the day, 50 in the evening, and 45 at night; yet the music here blasts well into the night. Your music generates a noise level of 86–90 dB at a distance of several hundred meters—double the permissible limit; it is a nightmare. While the music isn't audible down on the street, the situation in the surrounding hotels is a nightmare. No one seems able to do anything about it. Guests are complaining and even cancelling their bookings. It is terrible! I do not recommend staying at hotels near this rooftop bar at Liberty Central, especially if you have children.

Been here for 2 nights and feel very pleasure. The room is big and warm. A little bit dark if need to work cause no light in the center of the room but thats still fine. Very close to the beach and located in the heart of Nha Trang so may expect a little noisy at night. From the room window can have a partial sea view if too lazy to go to the beach at that time. Breakfast choice quite varied and some dishes changed daily.
Exceptional services with stunning views of Nha Trang. My first impression is this hotel is quite old and could only be an safe option since the location is in the center. I was amazed by staff's well thorough work from greeting me to when careful assisting delivering the luggage to my room. Breakfast buffet is good enough with fresh and delicious foods, especially the omelets, thought not with too variety of choices.
I was staying two nights at another hotel but they were fully booked after that so I walked around and found Liberty Central. I wish I stayed here the entire time. First, Dương (I think that was his name) at the front desk was very helpful and nice. He personally showed me two rooms to help me decide which to stay in, and I stayed for two nights. The partial sea view was very nice. The room itself was very clean, nice spacious shower without the (stupid) bathtub combo. Fridge was reasonably cool for drinks. AC was strong, I had to turn it off sometimes. Breakfast buffet was very big but as someone who doesn't eat beef or pork (I eat chicken and seafood), I had a hard time. Not my favorite buffet despite having a lot of food. They did make me an omelet and that was tasty. If I ever return to Nha Trang I would definitely stay here again. Great location for walking around town or going to the beach. Excellent service from the staff. I didn't check out the pool or gym but there's a live band on the rooftop and that was a lot of fun! Very cool. One small complaint is one of the staff asked me to move from the sofa area near the rooftop entrance because that seat was taken already? Nobody was there for a long time and it doesn't seem like you can reserve the spot. I didn't want to argue so I went to one of the table, but I didn't like being asked to move. Overall excellent experience!
The hotel is located right in the city center, making it very convenient. It only takes about a 3-minute walk to reach the beach. The rooms are new, clean, and well-maintained. I’ve stayed here twice in two different rooms, and both had at least a partial sea view, which made the stay feel quite open and pleasant. Another plus is the good soundproofing, so it’s nice and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, the hallway is a bit dim due to the hotel’s energy-saving policy, which can make it feel slightly less welcoming at times. In addition, the breakfast buffet is not very diverse, with limited Vietnamese dishes and mostly options catered to international guests. Overall, it’s still a good choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place near the beach with a convenient location.
