Woodbury Common Premium Outlets Shopping Tour From Midtown

Excellent trip to Woodbury Common outlet.

We had booked this trip to leave at 8.30 am which we did and the bus going was on time however the return trip was late. It had been booked for 5pm however the bus driver turned up after 5pm and then told us that the bus was due to leave at 5.30 pm. When we showed him our tickets which clearly stated 5pm he said that it hadn’t left at this time for over 3 years! He was very unhelpful. We had booked a meal for a birthday celebration however due to the delay we were then late.

The outlet was much much larger than what we expected. 6 hours isn’t long enough. But we shopped and nearly dropped. Great ride there and back. Mall is outstanding and food options are great

Nice shopping outlet, its like a village of different stores. High end brands but also has affordable brands too. So easy to get to, really nice day trip.

It was a wonderful hassle-free experience. Arrive at the meeting place on time. Select your seat, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

We bought the 9:30pm outbound and 5pm return bus tickets to the Woodbury outlet. The outbound journey was smooth. The return journey was terrible. First of all, our ticket is 5pm return. We went back to the dropoff/pickup point in Woodbury at 4:30pm so we could get to sit together as the bus would be full. When we arrived at the pickup point, the bus was there running a/c but the driver closed the door and did not let us in. It was over 30 degree hot weather and we were waiting until 4:45pm when the drive asked us why we were so early. We said we are on a 5pm bus. He said there is no 5pm bus but 5:30pm bus. I showed him the 5pm Viator ticket. He scanned it and said yes but it is 5:30pm. I begged him to let us into the bus. He did. So we waited a total of 60mins for the bus to leave. Then when we arrived New York City. It was not the same location that we got in the bus in the morning. The tour description said it would be the same location. It was not too far but this tour operator just did not follow the schedule and description in Viator. I suspect Viator got the wrong information too.

Best shopping experience ever. Bus was on time. And staff very helpful. Left a pair of shoes in the bus. Thought I lost it. Phoned the company and they found and kept it for me.

The outlet itself is ok. I didn’t spend the whole day there as the outlet experienced at least a couple of power cuts that I know of which resulted in either shops closing their doors or keeping them open but customers would have to shop in poor light and the staff could only take cash payments. In addition I had a problem when I arrived at the morning pickup point. I had a Viator voucher for the correct day but I was not on the coach list for the day. I was listed for the following day which was the date I originally booked but had to change a few weeks prior. The agent had to call Viator as she explained that Viator had never changed the booking with the bus operator. On the day it was both frustrating and annoying for me.

The pickup point listed (828 8th avenue) is incorrect. Viator support still gave this address but have instructions to the correct place - bit confusing but got there in the end. The correct place was a block and a half away. Tour itself was great. Great communication and a great ride.

Bus was there on time for both pick up and drop off. Have used before and would do so again. Well worth the cost.

The trip was very easy to book, coach stop easy to find. Checking in at bus stop easy to do and staff friendly and informative. Bus was clean and comfy, on return got an earlier bus. Emailed the company as advised by staff when taking the first journey and ticked was changed straight away.

The bus was on time and the instructions to the pick up were spot on. The vouchers were disappointing. We booked the 9.30 to 3pm which was too short.

There are lots of shops to explore . Be careful of times though as I booked to come back on the last bus at 19:30, however this bus did not exist on that day. Luckily we were finished early and one of the earlier bus drivers Miguel helped us out and got us on his earlier bus. Very good service from him. We were expecting better sales but were disappointed with a lot of the shops.

Made a date change 2 months ago and Viator did not change the date with the bus company and I was not able to board the bus and had to book again another 47 dollars no refund no apologies

When I booked the tickets the location of the bus stop for Woodbury was given as 8th avenue 50th Street west, however the bus didn't show up at this location, it was only when we'd been standing in freezing conditions for 45 minutes that we were made aware by a lady who was waiting with us that we should be on 7th avenue just off time square. We were told by the girl on the bus that we were waiting at the old location... thankfully the shopping at Woodbury common was great.

Shopping premium shops with great discounts were worth the money & fun! We are coming back for more!

Hi the bus journey is fine takes around 75 minutes each way. The coach is comfortable and well maintained, driver is safe. There is lots of storage space for purchases. In terms of the outlet itself the food is pretty limited and of average quality. The biggest disappointment for us were the prices of the goods. Even though there were discounts ranging from 20-70% nearly all the retailers are very high end such as PRADA so the goods are still really pricey with a few exceptions. So if you have money to fling at some pretty things, as clearly some of the passengers did, then its cheaper than going down 5th Avenue, but if you cant afford a hundred dollar shirt or thousand dollar hand bag (after discount) then maybe think again!

Really good trip. Shops do not open until 10am but if you are there early it gives you time to plan your day

Our experience from purchasing to completion was so smooth. The day itself was high quality transport and punctual with both journeys leaving early. There is a wide variety of shops for every budget and plenty of lunch options A great day out if you want to visit some outlets whilst in NYC

Was unable to use tickets they didn’t recognise at bus station so had to purchase new tickets and when I tried to get hold of trip adviser couldn’t even get through came up as error. Terrible will never use again

The bus check in and ride was smooth. There were no issues and I will recommend this company to any family and friends looking to visit this mall.

The shopping experience was great, especially with the high discounts. However, the eating area was too crowded, and it took a long time to get seats for our meal.

Definately worths visiting the outlet but book the bus directly from the woodbury. We booked it and we made a modification to an earlier time and they did not communicate it with the woodbury buses so we had to wait one hour in the freezing cold since they never boarded us on the time we have booked (after modification) but they let us get on thr bus in the initial time of our reservation(one hour later-so we waited in the freezing cold)

Great day brilliant shops week before Christmas, prices were great we felt this was very good value for money

I was waiting at the meeting point for 30 minutes and I don’t see any bus showing Woodbury common so I make the phone call to the number at 1029 which my meeting time is 1030 they said the bus left and can’t give me the refund. I told them that I saw 3 buses with the university decal on the side bus but did not see any sign saying Woodbury common or the name of the tour operator they said that I should have asked and that’s my fault that their agent don’t even wear the shirt or uniform or the sign showing the this is the bus going to Woodbury I asked to speak their their manager and the same person said that her name is Paula and she is the manager and she doesn’t care, she can only rebook me on the next day. Very disappointing that how they just took my money and don’t try to help or care. And not professional at all

Nice large coaches picked up on time both ways, driver very friendly, plenty of space in over head compartments for shopping

Brilliant day not enough time to get to see all the shops definitely recommend if have the time to go. Great choice of places to get lunch coffee etc. We booked this trip through trip advisor and company they used were excellent with friendly drivers and knowledgeable conductor drop off and pick up location was easy to find

Have been to the outlet shops before so knew what to expect. Pick up point easy to find and bus lovely and clean and a pleasant drive out into the countryside. Staff told us to make sure we were at Bus pick up no.2 and there were buses back at 2,3,4and 5.30pm. We had done all we needed to do so thought we’d get the 4pm bus back however driver said our ticket didn’t have that (4pm) time on it so he couldn’t let us on as ours showed 6.30pm. There was already a queue of people in the same position as us and the driver let some on until all the seats were full. He said the next bus was at 5pm and wait and try and get on that one. It was freezing cold so thought we’d would get inside somewhere but at that point a New York transit bus arrived. Spoke to diver who said we could buy a ticket so forked out more money just to get back to the city rather than get stuck there longer. Maybe we didn’t fully understand the return timings on the ticket as we thought 6.30 would be the time we were back at the pick up point in the city. Anyway lesson learned. Previously we have just bought a day return ticket direct from the Port Authority and got the bus from the main bus station which was a lot simpler in hindsight.

Firstly, I would just like to inform you the pick up point to meet the coach to go out to Woodbury Common has changed from 1651 Broadway to just outside the Carnegie Diner & Cafe located on 828 8th Avenue. I went out to Woodbury Common this morning with my husband. It’s a fabulous experience, the journey just took about an hour, we really enjoyed the journey and seeing the countryside. Our driver was great. There’s such a selection of shops out there and all very well laid out. Plenty of places to get a bite to eat. There are also lovely cafes Coach and Ralph. Some lovely places you can sit outside and have your tea/coffee weather permitting. Would definitely recommend this shopping trip!

Great experience. The service was pretty efficient and professional. The transport vehicle was very punctual. They should consider larger branding to increase the visibility of the brand on their transport vehicles for the pick-up stops at Woodbury Commons.

Fabulous service clean bus great driver. Easy to find and pick up. The bus wasn't overcrowded either.

On time both ways and great central location near Times Square. Bus was very clean and comfortable. Personnel were organized and friendly. Overall a good experience!

The trip was easy to book, friendly staff and was going very well until our return journey I had changed our return time online before we left home and received a confirmation email. However when we went to get on the coach to return they had us at our original time We were put on standby and had to hope someone didn’t turn up

Great experience, very central collection location. Bus was new and luxurious, price was really reasonable. Can’t fault this as the way to visit Woodbury.

Well organised trip. Comfortable coach. Ran on time. Outlet mall excellent. Take a wheeled suitcase with you as you will buy more than you can carry.

We went on a day visit. Lots of bargains. We missed our bus back but they managed to get us back on another bus 2 hours later. Just had time for more shopping. We had around 6 hours there after travelling. Very comfortable coached

If you want cheap designer clothes than its really worth it and a lot of choices and it's very big outlet and you need more time.

Easy to find meeting pointing city and at Woodbury. Friendly staff on check in and coupons and map were an added bonus. Would recommend!

Its a nice ride out of the city but don't expect fantastic bargains. Yes most outlets have reductions, but its mainly for products that are old or slow moving stock.

Its got lot of designer Outlet and it's very cheap and you do need a lot of time to see and to look around the place because it's very big outlets

Would have been nice to have been advised of the change of collection place arrived as per our instruction 30 minutes before at Mc Donald’s only people thought strange logging in to see if anything had changed luckily Mc Donald’s have free Wi-Fi as we are from the uk. Only to discover a new pick up point. We made it with seconds to spare. However loved Woodbury Common.

Great experience with the tour company, the pick up location was easy to find. The outlet is enormous. I travelled so low and felt really safe with the tour company. I didn’t need as much time as I anticipated and was able to change to an earlier departure back to the city.. Would definitely use again
