Walking Tour In Manhattan Brooklyn Bridge And Waterfront

This tour was one of the highlights of our NY holiday. Our guide was a local with lots of knowledge about the area. Highly recommend.

This was a fun tour on a beautiful day. The scenery from the bridge was spectacular and there were a number of points of interest that provided a rich history of the city and its development. Scott was well informed of the historical facts and significance of what we saw.

We had a great walking tour with Scott. He gave us lots of bridge and Brooklyn background history. He made the walk a lot more interesting than if we did it ourselves. He was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone! I was really nice to walk on the bridge, hear the story of its construction, curiosities on the neighborhoods and great pictures as a plus. If you been on other tours before, you know what I mean. Not easy to find someone who will make sure you have great images!

Scott was a very knowledgeable guide. He clearly explained the history of each site and he took pictures for us with our phones. He pointed out nice restaurants to eat at and nice attractions to visit, such as the MTA museum which was a great museum to visit.

Scott was a great guide. Made accommodations for water stops, restrooms, and kept a comfortable pace. He shares his depth of knowledge about history, New York, Brooklyn, the bridge, lots of trivia, but is not overwhelming. He welcomes questions. At the end he identifies restaurants and how to get wherever you are going by subway or ferry. Just the right amount of time. I recommend hos tour.

If they are looking for an informative hike across the Brooklyn Bridge, they should reserve a spot. Ron was a great person to lead this excursion. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he will adjust the trip across the bridge to meet your demands. At 72 years old, it was a perfect opportunity for us to learn and explore.

Our tour guide kept us well-oriented and entertained with the history of the making of the bridge and the parks, while giving us tips for the best photo-ops and food spots!

We booked this tour at the last minute and we were so glad we did. Scott sent detailed instructions on where to meet, what to expect and even a lengthy list of restaurants he recommended if we wanted to eat while in Brooklyn. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves the only 2 people on the tour that afternoon, but Scott made sure to give us his personal attention. He answered all of my curious questions and provided extensive, interesting historical information not only about the bridge itself but the surrounding area as well. It was clear that he loves New York and Brooklyn in particular. Scott left us with lunch recommendations and instructions on how to take the ferry back to Manhattan if we wished. Such a wonderful way to experience another facet of New York city.

We took the Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO Waterfront Tour and our guide Scott was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable and shared so much information with us. He was easy going and always open to questions and allowed time for my many pictures. He would even take photos of us with the beautiful backgrounds. Beforehand he sent us an email outlining what we would see with recommended places to dine. A detailed map was also included which was very helpful. This is a great tour. 10k plus steps which is great when you eat at Julianna’s after. The history of the bridge was exceptional and the pics in DUMBO (insert girl squeal) amazing. Scott is a veteran tour guide and his expertise was much appreciated.

Easy meeting point and proceeded to walk over the bridge. Guide stopped several times on the bridge to tell us how the bridge was built and to take pictures for us. We had a truly wonderful time walking over the Brooklyn Bridge and through the Dumbo area of Brooklyn and ending up in the Brooklyn Heights area. Our guide Scott could not have been more friendly and helpful, he took pictures of ourselves and our individual party. He was very informative and took time to explain everything in great detail. Was happy to provide suggestions for places to eat and drink and the best way to return to our hotel in Manhatten at the end of the trip.

Great guide. Super informative and interesting. I’d give the tour five stars if it were for how it ended. The end point is far from the starting point. When I asked the guide how to get back, he said the subway. Not being from NYC, that was a bit surprising. I take a lot of tours and fully understand that end points are always the same as the starting points, but this was a drastic difference.

Scott was very informative about Brooklyn bridge and surrounding areas. Dumbo is worthwhile visiting and walking around and such a calm lovely area. Interesting to hear about the history of the buildings , both new and old. Scott recommend visiting Juliana’s for pizza , which we went too, pizzas were delicious.

We had a very interesting walk through Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo. Our Guide Scott showed us a little bit the "normal" life of New Yorks Outskirts. Very interesting were all the historic informations we got. Thank you Scott.

A great way to experience Brooklyn bridge and the surrounding area.Scott was very good at describing the sights both past and present and had an interesting and independent knowledge of the bridges and their construction. There was a fair bit of walking and steps to handle but if you can please do the tour you will see and learn a lot.

Scott is the nicest guy and he is so knowledgeable he could literally tell you the history of every skyscrapers you put your eyes on. No question he couldn’t answer.. Also it is really quite cheap for the time he spend touring you around. I am so happy I booked a tour with him and I warmly recommend it to anybody. This was hands down the best guided tour I had during my time in NYC.

Great walking tour over the Brooklyn Bridge. History of bridge was sprinkled throughout. Once in DUMBO, even more to see and learn about. This trips ends in Brooklyn Heights so stay and explore more. Easy ways to return to midtown. Guide was well versed in the history and responded to questions we’ll.

A excellent way to explore communities on both sides of the Brooklyn bridge and take in riveting history and extraordinary views. The guide was very passionate and knowledgeable of the city, and made the group have a wonderful experience (despite the rain). Strongly recommended!

My 18 year old daughter and I both enjoyed an evening walk with Scott and a couple other folks. Scott is super knowledgeable, not only about Brooklyn and the bridge, but he could tell an intetesting story about many of the buildings people asked about on the Manhattan skyline. He seems like a lifelong learner who enjoys sharing some of the lesser known facts about the bridge and the city. Weather conditions were not great - steady rain and wind throughout - but if it did interfere with any of his usual stops, it wasn't noticeable to us. Scott kept us engaged throughout the 2 hours our walk lasted and answered any questions people had, as well as shared insights about local real estate, celebrity residences, and filming locations. Great way to spend an evening, highly recommend!
