This was a unique experience and a lot of fun. I found myself laughing the entire time. We had a great time. I am a big fan of film noir, but my guest was not. Nonetheless, we both enjoyed it. I learned a lot about Lower Manhattan area. There is a lot of history there.

Departure Point
- We will be meeting at Hanover Square - near the India House. We will be in costume so look for a man in a grey suit and a fedora or a beautiful dame in a sultry femme fatale get up.
Itinerary
We begin the tour in this park, where we are ambushed by our femme fatale Veronica!
We Follow Veronica on the trail to where she supposed to met her missing beau.
We banter and bicker with Veronica about her husband until we find a strange clue related to the case.
After passing many Lower Manhattan landmarks, we find ourselves in City Hall Park where we hopefully solve the clue.
On our way to a "final meeting point" - we stop to discuss whatever became of the more seedier elements of Downtown Manhattan.
We encounter a betrayal at the Bloody Angle that changes everything! No spoilers!
We discuss even more seedier and notorious elements of New York before we head on to what one hopes is a successful Femme Fatale trap! Again - no spoilers.
We end our story with a climatic, showstopping song and dance number in Lt. Petrosino Square to the tunes of a very popular Swedish singing group. Assuming of course, we all make it out alive...(disclaimer - we will don't worry)!

Exciting and insightful - why are more tours not like this! Thank you Jason for an unforgettable afternoon and for the unforgettable facts. If you like theatre and history then this is the tour for you. I've never laughed and learnt so much at the same time. Highly recommend!
What a great alternative tour of NYC. The people were very knowledgeable and involved us in the story. We had such fun and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a great few hours walking around NYC
Great tour! Cute blend of history, mystery, and romance. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your thinking caps! Would reccomend
Both characters were entertaining, and Jason very knowledgeable about NYC. We had a hoot! And I'll add some padding here.
Tour Noir was an absolute blast! The tour masterfully blends NYC history with a bit of comedy, romance and suspense. The guide, Jason, is an absolute treasure! He is incredibly knowledgeable about all things NYC, and is equal parts hilarious and charming. 10/10 - would recommend this tour!
Awesome tour! Lots of fun trying to unravel this web of lies! 🤯 An awesome way to see the city and be thoroughly amused along the way.
I recently traveled to NYC with my 9 year old son and wanted him to see as many of the awesome New York tourist sites as possible. After exploring several different travel sites and tour guide ads, we decided to go on the Tour Noir: A Dame To Guide For. It seemed different than all the other tours because it not only was going to take us to tons of different downtown sites, it included a very entertaining and hilarious show. The main tour guide, Jason, was an encyclopedia of historical information for all the downtown landmarks. We learned so much. I felt like I was on a History Channel TV show. What made it even better was that the entire tour took place with Jason having on ongoing back and forth with an "ex" that just happened to show up for the tour. Was it planned? Was it an accident? What did she want? What were her intentions? Who knew---but it was funny and entertaining. They traded amusing quips all tour long until a big final conclusion, which I will not give away. Without any spoilers, i will say it was funny and made the entire tour a unique experience I would gladly go on again. Well done! The entire cast and script was excellent. The guides were all very friendly and engaging. My son loved it and wants to go back. Thanks for a great time. I will highly recommend to all my friends visiting NY. A MUST SEE and DO!
As a native New Yorker, this gave me a whole new perspective on the city. Having done a bit of traveling around Europe and going on a number of tours, this was by far the best tour I have ever been on. Jason and his team do a wonderful job of providing a high quality tour experience while treating the group to an engaging and interactive play throughout. I highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in learning a little bit more about the vast and intricate history New York City holds.
Jason and Robin were excellent tour guides! The tour of lower Manhattan was educational and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour, even for those who live in Manhattan. There is always something new to learn! :)
Interesting and knowledgeable tour complete with a film noir play! I had a great time with Jason and Robin. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn more about Lower Manhattan.
Jason and Robin were amazing hosts through lower Manhattan! They had great chemistry together and really got my whole group involved in their act, while still being able to give us a great tour of the city! Time flew by as we walked throughout Wall Street, Chinatown, and Little Italy. I would definitely do this tour again!
Tour Noir is definitely not your typical tour. Jason and his team put on an entertaining interactive show and are full of knowledgeable facts. Even a life-long New Yorker will learn something new on this tour.
Great overview of downtown Manhattan, good deal on food too. Jokes are historical and factual yet topical and relevant to today's NYC. This tour is a quirky, fun way to spend an afternoon if you're new to the city. This isn't a tour where you'll just hear a laundry list of facts. You'll learn about architecture, weird neighborhood factoids, and NYC legends (the good and the bad) all wrapped up in a noir. The female lead–Robin(?)– also very dynamic. Cheers!
Jason and his dames are to die for! As a new yorker that prides herself on knowing a lot about NYC and the world, I learned so much I never knew about (who thought that was even possible?!?!). Not only that, I was laughing so hard! I was so entertained, dazzled and having a blast. I 1000000000% recommend Tour Noir. You'll see a range of NYC, its place in the world both now and in the past, and in the best way possible!
Jason has set up a great tour company.. Not the typical tours you'll get in NYC. You get to see a real play while learning about the historical parts of downtown Manhattan. I couldn't ask for a better tour
