We had Tim as our guide. He was FABULOUS. Incredibly organized, knowledgable and witty. It was a very comprehensive tour - history, politics, art and architecture. There were about 10 people on the tour The guide was careful to keep us out of the rain

Itinerary
This sculpture of the Greek mythological figure holding up the earth is the work of two artists from different disciplines. Here you’ll learn how Greek art influences much of what you’ll see at Rockefeller Center.
Marvel at the architecture inside and out in this neo-Gothic wonder, the largest Roman Catholic cathedral in America.
See nine bronze figures above the entrance to 620 Fifth Avenue and learn a little about their origin and what they represent.
This building has a grand entrance with two pieces of art. One is a woman holding a gilded torch to symbolize French freedom. The other is an elaborate bronze engraving showing more symbolic figures, including France and New York holding hands in friendship.
Though they bloom in summer, these gardens are scenic year-round. They include six granite pools with bronze fountainhead sculptures inspired by mythology. As you take in the views, learn about Prometheus, the many flags you’ll see here, and the various TV shows filmed at 30 Rock.
Also called the Comcast Building, this is the central building of Rockefeller Center. Learn about the giant Christmas tree that adorns it during the winter and what makes it so special.
This three-story mega store is the home of the oldest toy retailer in the country. On the way to it, see the Today Show studio and Christie's.
As we head down West 50th toward the Rockefeller Center, we’ll stop to admire the artwork on the side of this historic entertainment venue. Opened in 1932, Radio City Music Hall is the largest indoor theater in the world. Here, your guide will share more about its history and architecture.
Located above the entrance to 50 Rockefeller Plaza, this stainless steel 3D plaque is one of the largest Art Deco works in the complex. Your guide will explain how the five journalists pictured symbolize the industry of one of the building’s former tenants.
As you say goodbye, your guide will prepare you for what’s next as you visit the Top of the Rock, offering three levels of indoor and outdoor observatory views.

Kevin was an awesome, knowledgeable tour guide.
Great knowledge and pleasant personality
The Tour was great. Chris explained everything on a cool way, i liked that.
Great experience with Chris Lee.
Jim Q. Was a great tour guide and I highly recommend him.
Our tour guide, Paul Kelly, was awesome! He was extremely personable and knowledgeable of the sights on the tour. He answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations on other sights, events and eating places. We were fortunate that we had Paul all to ourselves because the other booking was unable to make the tour. We will definitely be reaching back out to Paul on our next NYC visit to tour other areas of the city.
Walking tour with Kevin, it was really interesting ! I recommand.
Liam, our tour guide was exceptional, friendly and so knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you like historical facts
We visited the Statue of Liberty on 30th April,2026. It was a great experience to see the Statue of Liberty so close and take pictures. The tour guide Mr. Liam O’Brien was very knowledgeable about the history of the statue and explained well. Very much impressed with his style of explanation which made us to understand the history well. Will recommend to all.
Had a wonderful tour from the wonderful guide Christopher! He spoke like a true New Yorker who loves his city! He was friendly, funny…fantastic! Our first time in New York & thought it would be a nice pre-top of the rock add on - it didn’t disappoint! We learned so much about the area of the Rockefeller Centre; it’s historic past & beautiful architecture! I would highly recommend & hope everyone has as good a time as we had! Eimear & Steve
Great tour. Chris is very knowledgeable about the history of Rockefeller Center. Love it.
Great insights about the Rockerfeller art and surrounding area. Our guide was super thorough and helpful in providing tips.
Rob knows his Rockefeller Center
I like his accent and my friend’s and I nicknamed him toast
Our guide was Kevin, and being an artist, he had a lot of interesting insights into the art behind this little city. He brought us to small highlights within buildings that most people miss.
We learned so much about history of Rock feller center! We appreciate your care of us ,Ms. Mindy C. She is an amazing tour guide! Mindy always explained us passionately!
Rob was our guide, and he was incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve been to NYC several times but had never taken one of these tours before. The insight he shared about each building was amazing. Even after visiting the city multiple times, I learned so much today that I never knew before. Thank you!
The actual tour was great! Our guide was great as well! Booking was easy until a change was made to our times confusing all of our plans. It was not clear that you book a time to go to the top of the rock that your tour starts 90 mins prior to that time. Be careful what you are booking for!
We had a very good time with our guide Kevin. He gave us all the information about the area and showed us some very interesting insights. Clearly there‘s plenty to see and learn at Rockefeller Center besides the Top of the Rock. Thank you very much and all the best for you and Heidi. 🐶
Kevin was a fantastic tour guide, we really enjoyed our time. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Thank you very much.
Our tour Guide Rob was excellent! He was friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. He brought in information about the history and architecture of the Rockfeller buildings and surrounding structures, as well as added anecdotes and information that gave a human aspect to what we saw. It was a pleasure to tour with Rob.
Kevin was a great guide, very informative & insightful! There was much more to Rockefeller Center than I had imagined & views from Top of the Rock can’t be beat!
Jim is great. Saw Rockefeller Center and outside of many buildings. Lots to learn. The mosaic outside NBC is great. Ask for Jim.
Great tour and guide. Please give better instructions or address to find the guide for the start of the tour. Instructions were too vague
Our other tour ran over. The tour guide waited for us and was so informative and kind. Thank him for his patience and wealth of knowlege.
Excellent tour guide, my partner and I still laugh about the locals fondness for burning sage! Engaging and humorous as well as knowledgeable.
I participated in a guided tour of the 9-11 and Ground Zero Memorial. Our your began in the Oculus with our guide Rob. Because of his own personal experience as a photojournalist on 9-11, he was able to give very unique insights about the events of the day. The information he related about the sites he was showing was really first-hand .
Jim Q. was really amazing! Recommended full hearted! It was really really fun. With lots of historical tips. Everybody should try it
Fantastic tour with Jim Q, very informative and fun. This guy knows his stuff. Great history surrounding rockefeller centre.
Loved our guide, Paul, and our tour. He was very knowledgeable of the area and fun. It was fun to hear about the area and how it was developed and even though we didn’t get to see the Christmas tree—Paul provided pictures to let us see it!! My going early in October we got to see them putting up the ice skating rink.
Loved it! We learned a ton about that area and how the history of Rockefeller Center impacted all of Manhattan. I highly recommend this tour!
This tour guide is very difficult and rude. We went to meeting point at Atlas several times and he was not there bringing us to think we were at the wrong place. Employees that work at Rockefeller never heard of tour. We were at meeting point before and after our meeting time several times. We missed our tour. Tour guide would not reschedule our appt. or refund us our money back. This guy is an independent person giving this tour. He is NOT ALLOWED to take you inside. The description is misleading! Rockefeller employees never heard of this tour. Go directly to the people at the Rockefeller building to schedule a tour for inside. Do NOT go through Viator!! They do not back their customers!!!
The tour was just okay. The other tours were more engaging. I would recommend smaller group so the guide can interact more with tour group.
Not what I expected but Rob was knowledgeable and informative! You get a tour of the outside of the building and I thought it would be of the inside!
Great info and Rob was very friendly and relatable. We enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend this activity.
This was my first trip to New York City. The tour was very interesting and we went around top of the rock plaza and saw a lot of things and heard a lot about the history of the area. We found it very informative and enjoyable. Our tour ended with us going up to the top of the rock and seeing all of New York City from above it was really beautiful
Our guide Kevin was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and easy going. Would highly recommend doing a tour with Kevin.
Paul Kelly was a great guide with much knowledge and a good sense of humor. We can only recommend taking the tour with him!
Jim Q was amazing! The best guide ever! I would recommend to everyone! X Agnes and Christian from London visiting in July
Rob was very personable and knowledgeable with all of the historical facts of the area! We loved it!!!
Mindy was amazing. Super friendly and very well trained in arts and architecture. She made everyone feel at ease and answered all of our questions! Totally enjoyable!
It was a fantastic tour!! Jim Q was very knowledgeable and kind!! My family and I had a great time!!
Excellent and very informative. Well worth the fee and great local knowledge. Anecdotes were really good and took our minds off the weather.
Tour guide was excellent. My review is based on the actual description and what you recieve. This tour IS NOT about going into/on top of, viewing from the observatory or otherwise. There is NOT any discussion or showing of any places inside the Rockefeller tower, and while SNL/Other shows are talked about it's summed up here - "These shows are filmed inside the building, which we're not going in, nor on the observatory - let's keep moving with some other facts".
Paul was a super guide. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we would thoroughly recommend him and the tour. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had our tickets for the top of the rock.
The tour was interesting. Mindy pointed out the various art throughout the architecture and that was interesting. The Top of the Rock was amazing! All the staff we encountered were so nice and friendly to us.
Jim Q was brilliant made it fun as well as knowledgeable. Highly recommended Would definitely do it again. We added on the Top of Rock which was amazing 🤩
Jim Quinn was friendly informative, and we enjoyed his many stories. It’s really a fascinating history of art and architecture and the beginning of the United States.
Jim Quinn was very informative and entertaining a lifelong New Yorker. He made them many historic sites around Rockefeller Center. Come alive highly recommended.
