Nice tour, well organized and fun. Our guide, Ryan, was excellent sharing local and national prohibition history.

My wife and I had an absolute blast on The Speakeasy Adventure: A Tipsy Trip Through History! Ariel was a fantastic host who made the entire experience fun, engaging, and memorable. There was just one other couple on the tour, which made it feel less like a formal tour and more like a night out with friends. The speakeasies were so much fun and honestly exceeded our expectations. We learned a surprising amount of history along the way, but it never felt like a history lesson. Ariel struck the perfect balance of interesting stories, great conversation, and a relaxed, entertaining atmosphere. If you’re looking for something different, fun, and memorable to do, we can’t recommend this experience enough. Highly, highly recommend!

We had an amazing evening out in the city with our fabulous tour guide, Ariel! Ariel was knowledgeable, warm, fun, and entertaining as we made our way to three incredible speakeasy stops. We loved the vibes, drinks, food, an atmosphere at each, and I also appreciated plenty of mocktail options as a non-drinker. We learned a ton and had so much fun! Highly recc!

Our Speakeasy experience was a lot of fun. Walter was our guide and provided us with an insight into prohibition and the area. The bars were memorable and we enjoyed our drinks. Loved the bar hidden behind the deli. It’s made clear that you have to pay for your own drinks but track the tipping. Be alert! We were overcharged at the second bar.

arielle is the best of the best. the tour was three unique speakeasy bars that i wouldn't have gone to without this tour. the evening was so much fun because of arielle !

If you're even thinking about booking this Speakeasy Tour in New York City... do it! It was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Walter was an incredible tour guide. He was hilarious, engaging, and unbelievably knowledgeable. His stories and the history he shared brought each stop to life, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. We visited four amazing speakeasies, each with its own hidden entrance, unique atmosphere, and fantastic vibe. Half the fun was discovering the secret doorways, and every location was better than the last. We laughed, learned, and had an unforgettable evening. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat—over and over again. If I could give Walter a Spinal Tap 11 out of 10, I absolutely would! Thank you, Walter, for an unforgettable night. We can't recommend this tour highly enough!

Arielle was amazing. We had an incredible time on this bar tour! From start to finish, everything was well organized, fun, and stress-free. The bars were all great choices with a fun atmosphere, good music, and delicious drinks. Our tour guide Arielle truly made the experience unforgettable. Arielle were friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt included and had an amazing time. She kept the group moving smoothly while still allowing us to relax and enjoy each stop. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure everyone had the best experience. If you’re looking for a fun way to experience the local nightlife, meet new people, and visit some great spots, I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our evening, and I would absolutely do it again!

We had a great time with Arielle! She was very friendly and provided us with an entertaining and comfortable experience. She was also able to answer any and all questions we had about the city or its history. The price was reasonable and we definitely got what we paid for. The entire experience was about 3 hours long, from 4-7pm, and we walked throughout the city. Most speakeasies were not too crowded and had a very upbeat atmosphere. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and he loved the history Arielle provided along the way! I would definitely recommend it!

I recently booked this tour in New York, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and not as advertised At the very start, the guide informed us that two different tours, rooftop bars and speakeasies were being combined into one group. This was surprising, as I had specifically paid for a speakeasy tour. While I understand logistical adjustments, this should have been clearly communicated at the time of booking or at least a day prior or on day of the tour! The payment process at each venue was also quite dodgy. We were told that the bars do not allow split checks and that the guide would handle the bill, after which we had to reimburse them via a payment app on the spot. However, each drink ended up costing $7–$8 more than the listed menu price. Even accounting for taxes and gratuity, this markup felt excessive and was never transparently explained, especially considering the tour itself is already paid for. The venues themselves did not meet expectations. One of the stops described as a “speakeasy” was actually a rooftop bar, which goes against the concept entirely. Another "complimentary" stop was a dingy hotel lobby bar near Times Square, which felt underwhelming and not in line with a curated cocktail experience. Overall, the tour lacked transparency, did not deliver on its promise, and felt poor value for money. I would recommend future guests clarify details before booking. Bella of course, the guide assigned did her best given her resources, but felt like this scheme was not hers to make and came from management above her.

My son and I joined the Speakeasy tour on 1/23/26. Arielle was our tour leader. She was engaging, interesting and a lot of fun. I was surprised at the history part of our commentary. I learned many things I didnt know. It was overall, a wonderful experience.

Arielle was very knowledgeable and fun. Great bars and lovely cocktails. Cocktails are privey but thats to be expected and you dont have to have them.
