Taylor Swift’s New York: A Walking Tour

Matthew is a fantastic tour guide and an enthusiastic fan!! He is very knowledgeable and the tour was very fun!!

This tour was the absolute highlight of our NYC trip. Matthew is a uniquely talented tour guide and provides a special behind the scenes experience with stories, history, and spots that you’d otherwise miss. I am not a Swiftie but I took my 13-year old daughter, and I enjoyed this tour as much as she did. Matthew is passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly well-prepared - at each stop he showed us pictures and videos on his iPad, and provided commentary that brought each location to life. Thank you Matthew - you’re the best!

Guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was a lot of fun!

This tour hit basically all the Taylor hotspots/landmarks, with a couple bonus spots added (Friends + Ghostbusters!). It’s a good amount of walking, so wear comfy shoes… Matthew was funny, witty, kind, and made it a great time. It was a super fun couple hours for this OG Millennial Swiftie with my 10 year old Swiftie.

I was ✨Enchanted✨ to take this tour! Matthew absolutely understood the assignment and made walking through New York feel like we were living in our own Taylor era. Between the Taylor lore, NYC connections, and all the little details along the way, there was definitely no Blank Space in this tour. Matthew was knowledgeable, hilarious, and had the perfect Swiftie energy. We walked Cornelia Street, felt Welcome to New York in our souls, and I can confidently say I had The Best Day. The whole experience made the city shimmer, and for a few hours, New York really did feel like a perfect place to begin again. Long Story Short, I had a marvelous time. Is It Over Now? Yes. Would I do it again? Yes. Matthew, you’re the 1. 💖🗽✨ 13/10 — Fearless, Gorgeous, and highly recommended for any Swiftie. 🫶

We had an amazing time! Matthew was engaging and friendly! It was my Swiftie daughter's favorite thing we did in NYC. Just getting a mini-tour of the neighborhoods like Greenwich Village, SoHo, etc, was worth the money for my non-Swiftie husband. Highly recommend!

I truly enjoyed this tour. It was a great investment. Matthew is truly passionate about NY and Taylor Swift and shared great information not just about Taylor, but about the ciy as well. Highly recommend.

Matthew gave a great tour!!! Highly recommend. He provided video clips and audio to support his commentary. These were Taylor clips I had not previously seen or knew about. Matthew is a huge fan and it shows in his tour. He also provides historical context for the neighborhoods we traversed. When we went to Cornelia street he even had video to show us what Taylor's townhouse looks like inside because he had been invited into the building. We had to leave the tour early, unfortunately. Matthew followed up with us to provide links, context and pictures so we could visit sites on our own. I highly recommend doing this tour instead of trying to see Taylor sites on your own.

Matthew was fantastic he’s more than just a Swifty he is a New York historian. His knowledge of the neighborhoods we toured was epic. We even saw Taylor’s car leaving her house while Matthew was finishing the tour with his final words, it was like he planned for that to happen!!! It was so cool !

Matthew was a fantastic guide—prepared, knowledgeable, friendly, and great at keeping the group moving while still making the tour feel relaxed and fun. I’m a pretty serious Taylor Swift aficionado, so I wasn’t necessarily expecting to learn much I didn’t already know, but I absolutely did. Even better, Matthew was genuinely excited and open when I shared a few bits of Taylor trivia that were new to him. I loved that. It made the tour feel less like a rehearsed script and more like spending a couple of hours exploring New York with someone who genuinely enjoys the subject and the people on his tour. I had originally booked the tour for myself and my son, but he decided at the last minute that he’d rather stay at the hotel, so I ended up going solo. I never felt awkward or out of place at all—Matthew made everyone feel welcome and included. All in all, this was a great experience and one of the highlights of my time in New York. I’d highly recommend it to fellow Swifties, but honestly, even if you’re not a huge Taylor fan, it’s a really fun way to walk through and learn about some of NYC’s most interesting neighborhoods. Matthew was wonderful about guide! Enjoyable for even non swifties! We saw parts of NYC we would not have done without him. He provided much history about NYC, and other celebrities. grandma enjoyed it and now fell in love with Taylor Swift because of the tour!!

Matthew is absolutely wonderful! If you’re thinking about doing the tour, just do it. Especially if you’re a swiftie and a first time new yorker, what a fantastic way to see so much of the city, through Taylor Swift’s eyes. Swifties are best community. Matthew has so many great stories about every spot we visited and even gave us fun facts about different iconic sites we passed and spotted. Great experience, thank you so much Matthew!

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Matthew - our tour guide paced it very well because there were a lot of stops & a lot of walking! My favourite part was the trivia, videos & anecdotes he shared about Taylor & her association with each location - very well researched & a lot of fun! I wore my TTPD cap & the others were wearing friendship bracelets & in true swiftie style they gave to me as well. Had a lovely time & would highly recommend it.

We had such a great time on this tour! Our group included my mom (grandma), me, and my 13-year-old daughter, and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the perfect mix of Taylor Swift trivia and New York City history, so there was something interesting for everyone. The guide was engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about both Taylor and the city. We loved seeing iconic locations while learning stories and historical context we never would have discovered on our own. Even as a family of Swifties, we learned several new facts! If you’re visiting NYC with a Taylor fan—especially for a mother-daughter or multi-generational trip—this tour is absolutely worth it. It was one of the highlights of our visit and I’d highly recommend it!

The tour was excellent! It covered a lot of interesting information that we would not have gotten anywhere else. Matthew expertly navigated us through several adjacent lower Manhattan neighborhoods that Taylor Swift has a strong presence in, all the while relating her genius and social conscience to us in a fun and inspiring manner. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide was perfect!! Attentive and easy to follow, very engaging. A Swifty with great info about NYC. We learned a lot, not just about Taylor. Loved the stop at Milk, too! Took the tour with my 10 year old daughter but would be equally fun with my girlfriends.

This was the best tour for a Swiftie to go to and all the references he makes to songs are so nice. He describes all the stops with perfect detail and takes so many questions and answers so well!!! 🫶🫶

I highly recommend this amazing Taylor Swift tour. It was fascinating—both for me and for my teen. Matthew is a gifted guide: while focusing on Taylor Swift, he shares tons of fascinating insights about the music industry, the city, queer history, and more. I used to live in NYC, and yet I learned so much—about the Village, SoHo, and Tribeca, as well as about Taylor Swift herself. You get to see where she recorded some of her music and learn about the stories behind it all.

Matthew was a great guide! We had the best time walking through different neighborhoods with him and hearing all of his knowledge on Taylor Swift and NYC in general! A great way to spend an afternoon of our trip!

This was a wonderful tour and such a fun way to see a different part of New York! Matthew, our guide, couldn't have been more knowledgeable or enthusiastic and made the tour so fun for us all. He went above and beyond to show us the city through Taylor's eyes, and it was so cool to see photos and videos of her in the places we were seeing. He also touched on some interesting bits of the city's history too, which was a bonus, and gave us a better understanding of the area. Would definitely recommend for any Swiftie!

We had a very good time! Learned a lot about Taylor and her favorite "to dos" within the city. My kids loved seeing the Cornelia St house and grabbing a snack where Taylor's birthday cake came from. The host had hand warmers for us which was a nice and unexpected touch. Would recommend to any swiftie visiting NY.

Matthew was wonderful! He was a wealth of Taylor knowledge and although I thought my daughter was the “ultimate Swiftie”, he absolutely told us things we didn’t know. He was kind, approachable, and although it was bitterly cold he was so easy to talk to and truly gave us such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour or any by Matthew!

It‘s a great tour through NY with a very good guide who speaks a clear English and who takes care that the entire group keeps together and has enough time for pictures. I can only recommend to book this tour, it‘s a great adventure

This tour was so much fun! Matthew has done an amazing job researching preparing content for the tour. We loved the extra videos and pictures he added to the tour. It really brought things to life. My friend and I know a lot about Taylor swift, but still learned a lot. Would highly recommend to other Swifties!

Matthew, our tour host, gave us a great introduction to the neighborhoods of Greenwich Village, Soho, and Tribeca within Manhatten. We saw so many fun spots, such as the Milk Bar Bakery and Cornelia Street. It was awesome taking the tour with fellow Swifties and learning so much about life around New York University. I highly recommend this tour, whether you are a Swiftie or not, for you will fall in love with this part of New York City.

I booked my husband and 14 year old Swiftie onto the tour on their last full day in NYC. They had a great time and learned loads from Matt, who was so informative. They got lots of great photos from around the village and seeing the Friends apartment building and Ghostbusters fire house was an added bonus. My daughter also learnt lots about the importance of Stonewall and the history. Would highly recommend this tour to any Swiftie visiting NY. She came away with some amazing cake - which Taylor had ordered the same for her own birthday!

Matthew was a very knowledgeable Swiftie! It was a fun time to explore the city and visit some of the places where Taylor has performed, eaten or stayed. The group size was small so we could ask questions and adjust to the needs of the group (like a quick bathroom break or the need to grab a cell phone charger). He was a kind and entertaining guide. Would highly recommend for anyone who is traveling to NY with a Swiftie.

This experience is so worth it especially if you’re a big fan of Taylor Swift. The guide was very well informed and kept it entertaining all the way through. We loved how he complemented the story with vídeos and songs shown on his iPad.

It was very fun and interesting to go to this tour. We visited a lot of places related to Taylor and I learned so much about her. We arrived a little late but they waited for us. He explained everything with so much passion and very detailed. He told us that one time they saw Sabrina Carpenter in one of the spots, and that other people after the tour have seen Taylor. I will tell my friends to go to this tour when they go to New York.

IT WAS A WONDERLAND! We loved the NYC Taylor Swift tour! We had the best day & Matthew (our guide) was a solid “22” out of 10! This tour is a must do if you are a Swiftie coming to NYC!

the guide was ok. he was very bold and made me a bit uncomfy. the tour and sights itself were amazing though. i think everyone in our group was uncomfortable

Matthew’s tour was amazing! He made it so fun and enjoyable. We went to some of Taylor’s favorite spots and ended at her NYC home! Along the way, he had videos and clips to share with us. Even though it’s a 2 hr walking tour, it’s not a crazy amount of walking all together! We loved it and highly recommend! I went with my 70 yo mom and 12 yo daughter! Great for all ages.
