This was a brilliant way to start our trip to NYC. Alex was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of stories to share with us. We were lucky enough to be the only group with Alex so she was able to add some additional stops for us and give some personal recommendations for places to eat and visit. I would highly recommend this tour.

Alex was a warm and friendly tour guide who demonstrated great knowledge at each of the food stops - sharing information, not only about the food but the people and communities involved in creating the food. She also shared lots of facts about the history of the area. Would highly recommend!

Alex was such a friendly and knowledgeable guide - she knew all the spots and had friends everywhere, giving the whole experience a “walking through your neighborhood” vibe! The food was great and the history was a wonderful bonus. We had two 12/13 year old boys with us and they gave Alex the highest compliment - “our tour guide was so chill.”

This was a fantastic tour! We loved all the stops for food as well as learning info about the area. We tried pizza places and dessert locations we had never been to before AND was able to skip the line for faster service because of our tour guide's connections! In my family I had a picky eater in it, and they were very pleased with the selections available and had no issues with the food provided. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for places to try in the Greenwich area. We were stuffed by the end so it's a good value for the price.

Lots of History Information and Alex is very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend. Nice little touch she provides water 😊

Alex was a great tour guide, knowledgeable, and keeping the group engaged. I was rescheduled due to my original date did not have enough participants. She communicated in advance to help me reschedule. I really appreciated that! The tour itself was over 2 hrs long, we were given history and pop culture on the way, sampling different food & more refills. Did not feel rushed at all. Highly recommended if you are a tourist to NYC first time or just want to know about west village.

Highly recommend the Sweets and Slices Greenwich Village Walking Food Tour! Alex was such a fun and friendly guide, and all the stops were very delicious. We enjoyed learning the history (both very old and recent) of the area and for each stop. Recommend going for the morning for a less crowded tour, but either way it's a great way for a first introduction to the area!

We had an amazing time on the food tour with Alexandria! She was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and had that classic New Yorker attitude that honestly made the whole experience even better. One of the highlights was Mama’s Too — their buffalo chicken pizza and Philly cheesesteak were absolutely the best we had. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience great food and learn more about the area!

We had a great time on this Greenwich Village food walking tour. Our guide Alex was fantastic, super knowledgeable and shared a ton of cool facts about the neighborhood as we walked from stop to stop. It felt like a mix of a food tour and a mini history tour of Greenwich Village. The food itself was amazing. Every stop was good, but our favorite was definitely Mama’s Too pizza, easily some of the best pizza we had during our trip to New York City. If you’re visiting NYC and want a fun way to explore Greenwich Village while trying some really great local food, I’d definitely recommend this tour. Alex made the experience even better.

The food was incredible- Mama’s Too was our fav and the wait is normally so long, but we didn’t have to wait with Alex. She is knowledgeable about Greenwich Village and knows all sorts of fun facts and has unique recommendations that made our trip memorable.

I had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour! Alex was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city’s food scene. We got to try a variety of iconic NYC top food spots. Mamas Too was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The flavors were unreal, and Alex made sure we knew exactly what to try. We also stopped at Molly’s Cupcakes in Greenwich Village. The cupcakes were delicious and fresh, and it was such a fun spot to experience. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York who wants to try some of the Big Apple’s best food spots.

I had an amazing experience! I got to learn about the culture and history of New York while discovering some incredible local restaurants. Alex made the tour feel so authentic, like I was a local myself; from great pizza to delicious desserts. Mama’s Pizza was so good!! And the cupcakes at Molly’s were hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. I also loved just walking the streets of New York. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience!

Alex was an incredible tour guide! This was my third time visiting new york but definitely one of the most memorable. She had some of the best food spots selected, food and dessert options both equally as delicious. Her personality, charm, and charisma shine through very naturally. She helped bring all types of personalities in a group of 20+ people to feel comfortable. She is overall very funny and willing to adapt with any concerns (for us it was weather, either super hot days or very rainy). When there was extreme flooding in the subways she powered through and maintained a poised and humorous attitude. I admire her very much and cannot recommend her enough!

What a great well rounded tour where we got to try many popular treats and pizza places. Alex is an extremely knowledgeable and kind tour guide, telling stories about the local area and showing us interesting details about the local architecture and historical significance. I really enjoyed this tour, we got to sample pizzas from two pizzarias and tried sweets from 3 different dessert shops. All were great!! We also go to see some cool landmarks in the area and learned interesting facts about each. Alex was a very knowledgeable guide!

I got to explore a new neighborhood- moved here this year, but hadn’t explored much there. This was a great option for me. It was a nice balance of treats and walking. My husband and I had a few hours to hang out in the city so I booked this yummy tour. Alex was outstanding. She showed us places we have passed many times before but never knew the history!! The pizza and treats were amazing!! I liked it so much I would do it again!
