Tour was well planned and Mark, our guide was really excellent. He gave us great insights into the history of the Statue of Liberty and then the flexibility to tour Ellis Island on our own before heading back to our hotel in Lower Manhattan.

Meetup with our tour guide, James, was very easy. He immediately made everyone feel at ease and he explained the security process very well. Security was a little overwhelming but was no fault of James or the tour operator. After our group was through security, the remainder of the tour was absolutely perfect. James was knowledgeable, patient, and super entertaining with his humor. So glad we booked this tour!

Our tour guide, Jerry, was Great! Super knowledgeable and even had some character voices to make the history fun. The time there was perfect and we were left with lots of options afterwards.

It starts at Battery Park, ferry to Liberty Island, ferry to Ellis Island where you can stay as long as you want and either ferry back to Liberty Island or Manhattan. Our tour guide Joe was great!

This is rated 4 stars because of history, etc - NOT for the tour guide, who is not necessary. Definitely must do/see, but don't book this tour in the fall - 4 adults cost $316 and the actual ticket at the Ferry Dock for one adult was $26.00. The tour does not need a pricey guide, audio available on each island. This tour limited our stay at Statue of Liberty, did not have time for the museum or going inside Liberty Statue, which is stated in included items. Ellis Island is a definite all day activity. Each Island should be given a day and the 26 per adult is worth it.

We went with the company experience. We had a lovely talk guide called Mindy. She was fabulous. Lots of energy, good diction. It’s a great place to go as everyone expects. The ferry is nice. Had a sunny day. They had an issue getting the tickets. And someone was running to get all sorted, and he managed to fix everything very seamlessly. I would recommend them they’re very good

This was such a fun experience, we loved it so much. Our tour guide Mindy was a wealth of knowledge and helped make the experience so fun. We got so many great pictures near the statue and enjoyed the nice boat ride of a beautiful day. Would highly recommend

Upgraded to private tour. The tour guide stays with you for 30 minutes and you can hear all the same facts with the video in the free museum on the island! My advice would be to save the money for a good lunch or dinner after your visit!

I had a wonderful time! James was a fantastic tour guide who went the extra mile. He knew all the best spots to get good shots without as much of a crowd around. James was very funny and had the right amount of jokes in with the facts and read the group very well. Yes, you can do this without the tour guide and just get the tickets for yourself, but having James made this more memorable and also, the man was willing to lay down on the crowd to take our pictures with the Statue of Liberty so that we could have the best shots. Would absolutely recommend!

Our tour guide, James did a great job sharing information, telling stories & guiding our group. I learned a lot of info that I didn’t know. Even though there was about 12 people I felt I had all my questions answered. He also gave us information on NYC. This tour was well worth the time & money.

Exceptional tour guide. Very friendly. But didn’t see as much as we anticipated. We thought it was a guided tour but we were left to our own devices.

My tour guide was James and he was fantastic. He is very funny and reads his group really well so knows when to crack the joke and when to focus on the hard facts. His experience is clear as he moved you through the itinerary. He even laid down on the ground to make sure that every one in the group could get pictures with the best angle of the statue of liberty. Would highly recommend!

Not worth the money. Just do the tour independently. The signs and rangers can cover what the guide did and then some.

Our guide James made the day memorable. His knowledge of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island history was amazing. His personality and presentation of the information were definitely a plus. The check in details and location were clearly communicated and we had a fabulous day and tour with James. We were amazed at how quickly he learned everyone’s name (there were 18ish of us) and how he managed to keep us all on time and together.

So much more fun and so much more interesting than expected! Our guide, mark, was excellent! Exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and fun! I had no idea there was so much to know about the Statue of liberty. Highly recommend.

We had a great timr on the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Cruise. The package offered great value for money as we were only really wanting to visit Ellis Island and the immigration museum but Liberty Island was fabulous. The views of Liberty from the ferry were amazing. I would definitely recommend this experience, it was a fabulous way to spend the morning.
