As you walk through, you’ll hear some cool stories about how this area helped shape the city’s media scene.

This engineering marvel has connected Manhattan and Brooklyn since 1883 and remains one of the most recognizable symbols of New York City. As you take in the view, your guide will share some interesting facts and stories about its construction and significance.
You will then pass by some of New York City’s most famous courthouses. These grand buildings have been the setting for countless landmark cases, and you’ll hear a bit about their history and the role they play in the city’s legal system.
Next, you’ll make your way to Mosco Street, where you’ll find some of the best dumplings in Chinatown. This little street is a hidden gem, packed with delicious flavors. Your guide will point out a spot or two where you can grab some famous dumplings that are a local favorite!

As you stroll down, you will hear about the Italian immigrants who made this neighborhood their home and how it became the cultural hotspot it is today.
Now it’s time to treat yourself! You’ll make a quick stop at Cannoli King, where you can grab some delicious pastries and, of course, a classic cannoli. This spot is famous for serving up some of the best Italian treats in the city—perfect for a sweet break during the tour!

Liz is an amazing guide, providing very interesting stories that shaped NYC
This is the tour to do if you are interested in getting greater insulated into these historic neighbourhoods of New York. Good pace and we enjoyed a lunch in Chinatown after the tour.
Unfortunately it was raining very heavy that day.....and there was much going and frying with people so I was the only person to start the tour and end the tour. My guide was Dave who was very informative. He was also well prepared as cut my finger on my umbrella and he had a small first aid kit on hand. Didn't feel that I got to see much of Soho...
Excellent guide, Dave, very knowledgeable and friendly.

Fantastic tour from Sophia. So knowledgeable and so funny even her bad jokes were good! The tour was a brilliant taster of Brooklyn bridge and NYC civic area then China Town, Little Italy and ending in Soho. We got a huge amount packed into two hours. Remember to bring cash for the food stop opportunities, great recommendations.
Awesome experience! Sophie is super cool and knows the city inside out. The little stories and fun facts she shared made it the absolute best tour.

Liz was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide
We had an exceptional experience and tour with Percy. Given that it was only our family, she ensured that the experience was fully curated for us, answered all of our questions, gave us sufficient time to grab some snacks and go to the restroom, and just made the experience feel like we were hanging out with a friend who understood the history of the city incredibly well. Would highly recommend this tour, especially a tour with Percy, to fully round out your New York visit, either as a local or a new visitor.
Thanks a lot Dave! You are Amazon and know so much

Ro was a great guide and we enjoyed exploring a few areas of NYC that we probably wouldn’t have done by ourselves. Great history lesson too!
Great guide, very informative tour, great insights, many thanks
Dave was our guide such a lovely man
We did a walking tour of Downtown Manhattan covering Chinatown, Little Italy and the surrounding historic areas, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to New York. Our guide was knowledgeable without making it feel like a history lecture, and the pace was just right. We learned a lot about how the different immigrant communities helped shape New York, from the early days of Little Italy to the growth and culture of Chinatown today. There were loads of interesting stories and details that we would have completely missed if we’d just wandered around on our own. What I particularly liked was how the tour mixed history, architecture, food culture and modern-day New York. Walking through streets that have changed so much over the years while hearing the stories behind them really brought the city to life. The contrast between the bustling streets of Chinatown and the old-world character of Little Italy was fascinating. The guide was happy to answer questions and clearly knew the area inside out. Even though we’d already spent a few days exploring Manhattan, we still came away having learned a lot. If you’re visiting New York and want to understand more about the city beyond the famous landmarks, I’d highly recommend this tour. It’s a great way to see a different side of Manhattan and get a deeper appreciation for the history and culture of the neighbourhoods.
Really enjoyable, informative tour. Our guide Dave was lovely and had lots of interesting facts!
Dave was very informative, personable, Spoke clearly and with passion.
Has any tour guide ever ate the greasy dumplings that we stopped to buy? Where I was disappointed was no time to purchase a cannoli.....why even stop at either place ?
