We had a great time! Excellent variety of wineries, and Ron was a very sweet guide. Really fun way to see the area, especially with the fall colors :)

Crush Beer & Wine Tours offers guided tours of Breweries and Wineries in the picturesque setting of the Finger Lakes and Rochester, NY.
For nearly 35 years, Chateau LaFayette Reneau has produced estate-grown vinifera wines. Their 110-acre estate provides optimal sun exposure and air flow for consistently aromatic white wines and rich, full-bodied red wines. They are home to three highly acclaimed Governor’s Cup Awards and five Jefferson Cups, in addition to innumerable other awards and gold medals. Their commitment to quality and integrity in grape growing and winemaking results in the finest Finger Lakes wines..
At Toast Winery they are committed to making quality premium wines reflecting the unique terroir of the Finger Lakes and New York region we are blessed with. Located on the West side of Seneca Lake, their name refers to the tradition of toasting wine barrels which enhance the character and flavors imparted to wine during the aging process. It also stands for their never ending journey to produce exceptional wine and celebrate their customers.
The winery was founded by Jerry and Elaine Hazlitt in 1985. What started out as a hobby and enjoyable pastime turned into Jerry making one of the top-selling wines in New York State, Red Cat. Now, the 7th generation has begun to join the Hazlitt crew, bringing with them the same passion and perseverance that drove generations before them. The next generation looks forward to continuing the legacy of family, friendship, and fantastic wines Hazlitt is known for.
Tabora’s wines are 100% estate-grown, harvested, and produced from 200+ acres of vines. Their current wine portfolio focuses on native and hybrid varieties and more recently has expanded on vinifera plantings. Their winemaker focuses on minimal intervention while still maintaining pristine and traditional winemaking practices in order to highlight clean, crisp, and concentrated wines sure to please a variety of palates. Lunch is at Tabora if you choose the tour that includes Lunch.

It was so much fun! The driver was super nice and we enjoyed all the wineries! Pick up from the other hotels though caused a pretty significant delay though. Outside of that, everything went great!
Alan our tour guide was professional, friendly and local. He provided vistas and experience that was unique for the complete wine tour. Definitely would book Crush again.
My husband and I had a great time. Wonderful wineries and Rayce, our driver, was femonanol! Water and a snack was provided and safe travel between the wineries. We definitely would book with Crush again.
Excellent in all aspects. Randy was an outstanding driver and guide!
Bill was a great guide, very informative and knowledgeable about the area. He made the whole trip enjoyable and smooth.
Super fun! Donna was a great guide. Vineyards were fun. Hazlitt is always a good time. Try the pickle pairing at Toast it’s worth it.
My boyfriend and I were celebrating his birthday, and meeting Rayce made the experience even more special! He took us to some amazing wineries and brought so much knowledge, personality, and fun to the day. His recommendations were spot-on, and he truly made our trip one to remember. We can’t recommend the experience with Rayce enough!
Crush Wine tour was such a great experience. Ron was such a pleasure to work with. He drove us from winery to winery, and was so knowledgeable about the area. He took us under his wing and made us feel like family! Would recommend.
What better way to celebrate a milestone anniversary than with a delightful Finger Lakes wine tour. Our Crush host and driver, Ron, was friendly and knowledgeable. We toured four area wineries and enjoyed a lunch overlooking Seneca Lake and the vineyards. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed the tour. We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was fantastic. We are already planning next year’s adventure.
I would definitely recommend this tour. Ron took good care of us and made sure we had the best time. All of the wineries we visited had great options.
Excellent service all around. Very professional Company. Our driver Donna was outstanding! Would highly recommend using them.
Deb was a great, personable driver. Very courteous and informative. We enjoyed the tour. Similar to another recent review, we would recommend having lunch after the 2nd tasting. Would book again!
Deb our driver did a great job. It was a fun experience. OUr suggestions is that the lunch stop take place after visiting two wineries and then complete the tasting at the final two wineries. Lunch was good, but amount paid to the tour operator for lunch was way to high. Paid $76 for lunch that only cost $22.
Husband and I went on the vines and vinifera tour with Alan Hooper as our host The tour was wonderful and Alan was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and wineries He went above and beyond to make sure our day was memorable
This was such a fun day in the finger lakes. Our driver, Deb, was friendly, knowledgable and very safe on the road. We got to spend plenty of time at each winery and taste some great regional wine. It was also very easy to book and to meet up w Deb at the appointed time & location!
Crush Beer and Tours gave my sister and I a very nice experience up at Seneca Lake yesterday as we went on the Seneca Lake South Wine Tasting Tour! Our driver, Jim, was very kind , patient, attentive, and very friendly . He had water and snacks available for us as he drove us to four different wineries and was very knowledgable about this area as he filled us in with interesting facts pertaining to the area's history. This was a fun experience and we definitely recommend this tour and Crush for making a nice memory for us. Cindy Stevens .
This was ridiculously overpriced. We have four tastings, which should’ve been total of around $80 and a sandwich for lunch. The driver was great, but the price was totally ridiculous.! I feel like I got ripped off.
Deb, our tour guide was amazing !! So very professional , informative and attentive. She made the trip worthwhile. The value you recieve for the cost you pay however is not there. We added the lunch which was a$70 per person charge . The lunch was delicious but could be purchased on site for $35. So not sure why viator charged double with no added value. Viator, if upu would loke to reach out, please do.
Make sure you eat first. Drink a lot of water. Would suggest lunch should be halfway through the tour not at the end. Patty was fabulous!! She took good care of us throughout the day. Our favorite wineries of the tour were Hazlitt and CLR,
Everything about this your was outstanding. This was our first time wine tasting in the finger lakes. The wineries selected was fantastic each different in their vibe. everyone was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends etc.
Visited 4 wineries on the Seneca Lake wine trail. Ron, our driver, was right on time. May have been a miscommunication on the number of groups but all worked out. Ron was super friendly and helped us document our experience.
the lunch was good, unlike reviews I had read. Driver Christy was very nice and friendly. Wineries were great! The only bad experience was Viator sending me lots of emails beforehand telling us to meet at Watkins Glen Hotel, when I specifically arranged for us be picked up at Idlewilde Inn. We were correctly picked up but had no way to contact driver beforehand to confirm.
The first visit to Wagner winery was exceptional, the lunch was very good, the next two wineries were interesting but nothing exceptional, the last winery at Barnstormers was delightful. Our tour guide Deb was helpful and even took us on a little detour to see a spectacular waterfall. Might be helpful to have some type of microphone system in the van so everyone could hear Deb’s commentary
Bill was great. Four great wineries plus a fantastic lunch. I highly recommend if you are in the area use Crush Beer & Wine Tours. We had a blast and learned allot! Bought some great wine too and the views were amazing!
Darryl was a great tour driver. Full of great stories and positive energy! We went to some places we never would have known existed. I definitely remember him.
Great winery tour with a driver/guide who shared their experienced guidance with us. This created a stress free tour allowing us to fully enjoy the day. Don’t hesitate to sign up for a tour today.
We had a great experience with Darryl. The wineries were really great and the whole day was wonderful. Would recommend.
Jim was a fabulous escort/driver! He was very solicitous of one of our handicapped travelers. He was knowledgeable about the area and the wineries and came prepared with water and snacks. Cannot recommend more highly. A fun outing, well worth it!
The best day!! Darryl was an amazing tour guide/driver and made the experience so much fun. Would definitely recommend!
Darryl was the best tour guide ever!! He was so organized and fun we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide for our energetic group!
Friendly and knowledgable tour driver. Beautiful weather and nice countryside. Visited some good wineries on both sides of Seneca lake. Would definitely recommend taking the tour and leaving the driving up to them.
We had a great tour with Deb; She was friendly, courteous and informative. We would definitely book a tour again with her. We would highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.
We took two tours out during a long weekend and both Jim and Darryl were just wonderful. They were attentive to us (a group of women aged 50+) during our tours like we we VIP customers. Truly can't say enough about the customer service. A++
The driver picked us up even a little early. She was very personable. We had knowledgeable people at each winery and enjoyed the wines. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed the other couple.
A small van. We couldn’t even sit together. The driver was great, friendly and informative. But this trip is not worth 1/4 of what it cost. A HUGE waste of money
Overall it was a great tour. The shuttle picked us up at our hotel lobby which was very convenient. We had to pick up two more guess but it was a hard place to find. It felt like we were lost. We visited four wineries. Our favorites were Lafayette and Hazlit. My husband likes dry but I like sweet. The last two wineries didn't have a good tasting for sweet. I guess it would have been nice for some contact before the tour to get an idea of what the customers preferred for wine. It would have been nice if the last two were wineries that had a better variety of sweet. Also, a lunch was included with our price. We visited four wineries and the lunch was provided at the last winery. It would have been nice if it was offered at the third winery as it was a late lunch. The lunch was an appetizer, an entree, and a free glass of wine. At first it was said that they wanted us to pick the wine before we had even tried what this winery offered. We then were able to wait until we were able to try the wines. The cafe did have a great selection of food. I am vegetarian and there were a couple of good choices. However, the description of an appetizer was not what we received. An appetizer is something you have before the meal like a salad. We had to order a side instead of an appetizer. I did order a salad however I had to pick a side as well because we were told that a salad wasn't an appetizer. That was a little disappointing. I was looking forward to a salad. Overall, it was a good tour. The driver did a great job pointing out landmarks, she got us to all our destinations in a timely matter, and returned us to our hotel in a good time. Since lunch was so late we didn't eat dinner that night as we were full from the lunch.
My wife and I took the Crush tour of wineries in the north Seneca area around three years ago. As our travel plans were back east this year, we decided to book their tour of the south end of Seneca. By chance, we got the same driver as we had the first time. Gary recalled us, and he remains a capable and pleasant host. The four locations they scheduled for our tastings ranged from good to remarkable, and the lunch they scheduled was superb. We will likely be back if time permits to take a tour on one of the other finger lakes.
Lennie was amazing! Super respectful and responsive. Very easy to plan with! Visited 4 different wineries overall around 4-5 hours!
Beautiful, peaceful area with cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. Book early for the Trolley if that’s what you want to do. Limited Ubers/Lyfts. Boat tour was very relaxing. Fox Run Winery has beautiful scenery and landscape. Glenora Vineyards has amazing views and dinner options. Lakewood Winery also over looks the lake and has very good wines.
My friends and I went on this tour and had an absolute blast! Our driver, Darryl, was helpful, informative and friendly. We had a great time and felt like it was a great value. Taxis and ubers are rare out here, so having a personal driver took away all of the stress of coordinating transportation. We would definitely do this again!
Darryl was our host/tour guide, he provided a well planned route, and kept us informed of the itinerary. He coordinated evey move with our tour planner/leader. Darryl, made the brides to be, Torrie's Bachelorette wine tasting tour; memorable, fun, enjoyable . Not an easy task with 11 people who had been wine tasting. We were on time for all 4 wineries . We would highly recommend Crush Beer & Wine tours, just don't forget to request Darryl , you won't be dissappointed.
Patty did an excellent job as our tour guide for the day at the selected wineries with her knowledge about the area. She was able to make a few adjustments to our timetable to include a photo op at Hector Falls near Watkins Glen as well as an ice cream stop at one of the many nearby creameries. I would definitely use Crush again and Patty as our guide.
I’m giving 3 because of the price. We really felt it was too much. The $60 lunch per person was a sandwich and a side and one glass of not very good wine. We also didn’t get our lunch until our last stop. Our driver Deb was nice.
This was my 2nd tour with Crush in this area. Gary was a fun and informative guide. The wineries were fun. We also enjoyed our lunch. Crush is my “go to “ in the Finger Lakes.
Ron was an amazing tour guide. Super friendly and super knowledgeable. He knew all of the pourers that we visited. They liked Ron and so we were well taken care of. Had an absolute blast.
Great tour! Ron Smith was a wonderful host! Thanks !!! Would definitely do it all again! Each spot was enjoyable and Ron made it all easy!
Ron was our tour and he was great! We had a great day on all wine tours! Thank you! Ron took pictures of our group and helped the entire time!
We did the Seneca South and West with Lunch tour with Gary as our guide. He was a great host….taking care of everything for us throughout the day. Our first and last wineries were our favorites…Wagner and Barnstormer. The tasting at both reminded us of when we first came to Seneca Lake over twenty years ago. The wine consultants were engaging and and the tasting was generous and enjoyable. The two other wineries were nice to visit, I actually picked grapes at one, but the tasting was rushed and so structured it felt like they were “pushing another bus group through” even though we were a party of 5. I would use Crush tours again. Thanks Gary!
