I had been a long time commuter through Grand Central and I learned so many interesting things about this building that I used to race through on my way to work. Richard is a great guide - he has so many pictures on his ipad that help reinforce what he is telling you. Definitely recommend

Our tour guide, Christian, was terrific. His enthusiasm for Grand Central and all things New York was infectious. His knowledge was deep, he answered all of our questions in detail, told us many stories about the sites we visited, and made the 90 minutes go by fast. The history of Cornelius Vanderbilt and the railroads, the beaux arts style, the gorgeous ceiling with the backwards constellations, the preservation fight led by Jacqueline Kennedy, the hidden tennis court, the really cool Whispering Gallery (parabolic effect), “window” in a wall in a now wine shop that was the movie projector that showed movies and shorts while people waited for their trains. Christian’s details were great - he pointed out this one small black square on the ceiling that was left to show how dirty and disgusting it was after decades of neglect (and to use as a paint test patch if needed), and he talked about the new, big time-saving connection of the Long Island RR to Grand Central. Really enjoyed the tour and learning that one million people move through Grand Central EVERY DAY was amazing. Hope some of them take the tour and appreciate the history! The 70 shops and food choices in the Dining Concourse are definitely worth checking out after the tour too. The most helpful part were the wireless ear pieces so we could hear the guide clearly. Thank you!
Pete was a great tour guide! His style was engaging and his pace was perfect!! We learned a lot and we are so glad we did the tour.
We took our 13 year old granddaughter on this tour and I was worried this would not be interesting to her. Quite the contrary! She loved it. Our guide, Jonathan was truly extraordinary and made the entire experience so special. Of all the things we did on our trip, this was our favorite.
Micky was very knowledgeable, so friendly too! I really liked that she was not trying to overdo her presentation. No nonsense, occasionally funny and friendly! Thank you for a great experience.
Richard is a wealth of knowledge! He conveys that knowledge with confidence, enthusiasm, humor, and deep interest in his subject. We appreciated his accommodating the needs of the group, (auditory & mobility). We will definitely seek out another tour when back in NYC.
Laura was a terrific guide. She took us to places in Central Park that we had never been too and lots of fun, hidden details were pointed out in places we had been.
We thought Cullen was terrific. He was personable, article, and engaging.

My wife and I visited NYC from out of town. We joined our long-time NYC friends on a tour of Grand Central Station. Our guide, Richard, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our questions. The tour was tremendous and we had a fantastic time.
It was an excellent tour led by an informative and charming guide. Ben knew his stuff well and explained the history in a clear and easy to understand way.

Well done tour of Grand Central Station led by our guide, Christian. He was professional, informative, and personable throughout. He included key historical facts and architectural highlights, with a great balance of detail and enthusiasm.
Richard gave us a great tour with humor and interesting facts. And tailored it just for us. Recommend.
We took the private tour as two couples who are Native New Yorkers and thought we saw it all. Justin, our guide, was incredibly personable and knowledgeable and helped us see even the most iconic buildings like the Chrysler in a new light, alongside some hidden gems in the city. We ended up talking about it for the rest of the evening. A great way to rediscover the city we all take for granted as we go through the daily grind. Thank you so much Justin for a special birthday present for my brother-in-law. I highly recommend this tour for New Yorkers who have a love of history of Old New York and architecture.
This was a terrific experience! Our guide was so knowledgable and so friendly - within 5 minutes of us arriving, he knew everyone's names! I learned so much and will absolutely be recommending this tour to anyone who visits New York.
Richard was very sweet and informative! It was a great experience. We learned a lot; he was very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone
We had a very informative tour with AJ! It’s not enough to be in a place, we love to learn about it! We had tours with AJ two days in a row, the other being the subways. We are glad we did both and glad we were on these tours with AJ.
Excellent tour. You will learn many things you never knew even if you have gone through here daily for years. Richard was extremely informative, pleasant and well organized.
Fantastic tour - Jonathan our tour guide was fantastic, so upbeat and a joy to learn from. Often I find tours can get boring in various parts but that was not the case here at all. Highly recommend doing this tour!
The guide knew the place intimately. It was a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone who likes history, architecture and a bit of exploration.
Loved this tour! John DeSanto was a great guide - informative, attentive, knowledgeable, personable, well-prepared, and funny. He shared interesting facts and points of interest within the terminal and outside. We didn't miss a word as he provided whisper listening devices. There are places in the building that you will want to go back and visit after the tour ends! Thanks, John.
This was by far the best tour I’ve done! Richard was extremely knowledgeable about GCT and made sure any questions from the group were responded to. The earpieces were a tremendous help. Many thanks to Richard for a fun, informative tour!
Brilliant tour with Richard our guide today. He was kind and courteous and very knowledgeable. My husband is very much into trains and thought the tour was fantastic- as did our 17 year old daughter and I who aren’t quite such train fanatics! We learned a lot about the history of the train station, the role of Jackie Kennedy, secret spiral staircases, architecture, whispering walls and of course the tennis court! I was concerned that we wouldn’t be able to hear our guide given the background noise of a busy working station but Richard gave us little over ear headphones which were great. We’d thoroughly recommend this tour. Thank you Richard!
It is a great and interesting tour. Amazing to see just how much is in this station and how interesting its history is. The guide was gentle, attentive and well versed!
Bob was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable. It was really neat learning all of the hidden gems inside Grand Central Station. He even helped us choose what we wanted to do the rest of the week based on his local knowledge.
Richard was an amazing tour guide! We loved our tour of Grand Central and never could have learned all of the secrets and history that Richard shared on our own. Richard's attention to detail was amazing, and seeing the indoor tennis court was a simply wonderful!
Bob was FANTASTIC! Wonderful tour: insightful, entertaining, etc. Our time together flew by! Thank you.
Interesting and detailed. Worth spending a 1.5 hours to learn about NYC history. Why do you make me add words. I said it all above.
Me and my friend had AJ last Sept 2023 as our tour guide. We had an amazing time then. This time I signed up again with my family (2). And we had such a wonderful 1.5 hours with the most passionate guide ---- AJ. !!!! He covered a lot of insider details and even went a little bit over the 1.5 allotted hours. We did not feel rushed at all either. Thank you AJ.
Cullen was a great tour guide for our Scout troop. The pacing was just right for a group of young folks. There was humor for the adults. And we got to see a bit behind the scenes, which is great for those of us who pass through GCT every day. Thanks!
AJ, our guide, was very knowledgeable & made the tour very interesting. Would recommend for all history buffs!
Richard, our tour guide, was very informative. Very easy to hear with the listening ear piece. Got around to all areas of the station. Very thorough. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, John DeSanto, seemed to know it all when it came to Grand Central. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic. We had a great time and learned lots.
The best part was the guide himself. John is Very eloquent, very entertaining and he is a very nice and warm person.
Jonathon was such a great tour guide. Enjoyed the tour much more than I thought I would. There was about 17 people on the tour and he somehow managed to remember everyone’s name so he made it feel like a really personal experience.

Bill was absolutely wonderful. He brought Grand Central Station to life. He was very knowledgeable & it peaked our interest to learn more about other NYC landmarks. A couple of hours well spent!

Our guide, Ben, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Grand Central Terminal and how the rail system developed in New York! We learned a lot and had an amazing time. We highly recommend!
