Private Transfer From Manhattan To Nyc Airports (Jfk/ewr/lga)

The company had the wrong time and did not show up had to take an uber. My flight was scheduled for 10:55 am and when I called they were not going to show up until 10:55.

Diagusted !!! I have been so loyal to Carmel Limo over the Years and today they have been Dishonest and Tryed to Dispatch tried to rob me. I asked yesterday (25th Oct with John) for a 2 minute extra terminal drop. To drop 3 elderly ladies at JFK Term 5 and the other 8 to terminal 4. I have prepaid a $41 Tip for a journey from Downtown to JFK so we are very generous and we prepaid all the tolls as I always do. ** I was told $25 extra by Dispatch and so was the advisor John told this on 3 occasions yesterday - (25th Oct). Today (26th Oct) I went to pay what I thought was already a high price and dispatch now changed the already high charge of $25 to now charge me $50. The Dispatch Agent DJ was adamant that it’s $50 amor no extra 2 minute deviation to T5. Sadly This is the actions of a cowboy outfit not a professional service. So so so Disapointed, we trusted them. 😢 Sad to say I will not be using them again and not will anyone I know. A good trustworthy company will not see options to fleece money from tourists at an appropriate opportunity. So bear all this in mind, they have zero customer care and just want to find ways to get extra money from you and I mean a 2 minute terminal drop from 4 to 5 $25 extra was high. Now they try for $50 extra. Maybe they heard my English accent and though hang on, we can make even more here. We want company’s we can Trust !!!!!!! And this incident has proved you can’t trust Carmel.

Excellent communication with company. Driver arrived on time. Car was clean and had plenty of room in the trunk for our luggage.

Our driver was on time and friendly. The car was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Communication was clear.

Extremely rude driver from beginning of ride to dropoff at LGA. Didn’t even offer to help with 1 light carry on suitcase. Yelling at me for walking past his car twice because he couldn’t communicate in English, the color of his car or that there would be a small sign with my name in the passenger window. Continued to yell at me once I got in the car even after I actually apologized to him. Your company sent frequent text and could have told me the color of the car and that there was a sign.

The driver called to let us know he had arrived and would be waiting outside of luggage claim. He had a sign with our name and was easy to locate. The vehicle was comfortable and he got us to our destination quickly!

Booked a car ahead of time. Car never showed up and no one called to say they weren’t coming. When I called after they were 10 minutes late, they claimed the driver was just late. Ten minutes later, I called again and was told they weren’t coming.

The pickup from the airport was pretty bad. The driver was rude. Second pick up from hotel was also bad. The car was small our luggage did not fit. We have to stuff the luggage on the front seat and we all have to seat in the back with our carryon and it was pretty tight. Not very happy customer

Tour operator did not respond to a text message the day before our scheduled event. No vehicle at our scheduled time. Called the operator directly. Person I spoke to was unable to provide a vehicle in a timely manner.

Spend the extra $ to get a direct ride as opposed to the shuttle. Our driver was on time, professional and made it very easy.

It was easy and nice to have this taken care of before we went. It was convenient. I found this method cheaper than the taxis.

It was my first time using the pick up service. I was asked about my flight information, but I was never provided pick up details. At the airport I had to call and a car was sent. When leaving, again, no details were sent, so I called and was told no cars were available and I would have needed to call the day before! I wish I had been told that. It was too late to cancel with a refund and I needed to order an ub r to get to the airport. Never again

When I booked my airport transfer from Manhattan to LaGuardia, all I received was an invoice I had paid. The day before my transfer I emailed Viator and requested a confirmation. I was being picked up the following morning. No response was ever received. The morning of my booking, I called at 8 AM for confirmation. They saw that I was in the system, but then asked what time was I needing to be picked up. I said by 8:15. At 8:15, the driver was not at my location. As I was calling, my phone rang and it was a driver. He was a half a block waiting for me. We had to walk to the location for pick up. Overall, everything worked out just fine. But, a clearer communication process should be in place when people are traveling.

The tolls were not included in the fee. After paying $73, drivers showed wherebthe company for $60 and I still had to pay and extra $8-$12. I paid over $85 on both trips. I did not appreciate that on front of my child I was traveling with. I will not recommend that company to anyone. Scam artist, that should have known at time of booking

The driver was on time and very professional. We arrived to our destination safely. My only complaint was that the drivers name could not be provided. They did give the type of car and last 3 characters of the license plates.

Our ride never showed up, we had to pay $100 for another ride to get to the airport on time. We called twice, “they are running late”. We did not realize that when we purchased a “Private Ride” that we were getting an Uber. I could have done that. Disappointing.

We were a large party with lots of bags, and our driver was extremely adept at getting all of the passengers and baggage into the vehicle!

Big Car which is great for family. The seats spaces were big and comfortable. Driver was early which was really good!

Reserved the ride weeks ago to make a flight at LGA. The service would not answery questions or respond when I requested the pick up time. I had to call Viator and was then informed that our pickup was scheduled for the same time our plane departed. I expressed to Viator that was unacceptable, they escalated and told me the car would arrive 2 hours after my requested time, which was still unacceptable I told Viator to cancel because we could not wait so late and told them to refund the charge. Luckily my hotel called another car service who picked us up 5 minutes later. My family and I are at the airport boarding our flight and receiving calls from Carmel Limo service so assuming Viator failed to communicate the issue. What a COMPLETE FAILURE on Viator and Carmel. I recommend NOT utilizing either service and find a better, more reliable option.

Enjoyed the private car instead of dealing with NYC subways. It was nice to sit back, relax and let someone else navigate. Ontime pickups!

Made a reservation in the morning for a 3pm pickup same day. At 3:10 there was still no car, and no prospect of any car. Took an Uber instead.

The driver was on time for pick up, communication was excellent. He was a safe kind driver. We had good conversations during our drive to JFK. A good value for transportation from Manhattan to JFK. I highly recommend. Thank you

Both journeys we had problems. You book the service via the app which is then transferred over to a local company. However on both journeys the details which i originally put on the booking ie time and address details of the booking are not transferred over to the local company.

The driver was waiting when we walked out the door. He was friendly, assisted with the bags, and ensured we were comfortable.

Professional, on time, a great ride back to the airport. Pick up right in front of our hotel in Manhattan and dropped off at our airline terminal.

Be careful. I booked two private transportation. 1st one was amazing. 2nd time, the Company sent us a person that did not speak English. Driver made us feel uncomfortable as he did not assist with luggage’s when picking up or dropping off, driver took my credit card out of my hand, kept looking at my wallet for more tip money, and then laughed and asked for more money in his accent & dropped us off at a location that we had to further walk…At this point I called the tour company to file a complaint. Not sure of the outcome but be careful when booking these reservations

Quick response time from booking on the day. Very helpful driver with what terminal we need after getting a little confused. Peaceful and spacious drive from hotel to airport.

The experience was not the best. Unfortunately there wasn't much communication and it was very confusing and the driver wasn't right there at 11:00 and so another driver was calling us over which we thought was a driver from the company we hired through Viator. Unfortunately we went with that driver and found out he wasn't the driver for the company we were supposed to go with, but it was too late.

Allow for NYC traffic when setting a pick up time. I was getting a little worried by the time the driver arrived.

Driver took us to the wrong airport and left!!! We had to scramble to find another ride to the correct airport.

Do yourself a favor and book any other Car Service except this one. I book them twice because I’m a full and thought after the first time it was a fluke. Wrong! They lied and said the car was coming, but no car was ever coming, and I had a kept calling to see where the car was standing outside in the freezing cold with my kids and no one ever came. I don’t know why I booked this company when Uber or Lyft is so convenient. Very stupid.

When this asks "where did you go"? Well we didn't go anywhere because they didn't pick us up, they cancelled 4 minutes before the pickup time which was scheduled in advance. This is absolutely the worst car service ever, they failed to pick us up on the morning of an international trip that was scheduled weeks in advance and their compensation for that after filing a complaint was a TWELVE dollar discount. don't waste your time with these people, they don't value their customers at all.

The driver was early to arrive and was waiting for us prior to our scheduled pick up time. The driver was able to navigate traffic to get us to the airport ahead of schedule. The only issue I had was that the driver took my credit card to "charge for tolls" and later I found out after questioning him that he gave himself a tip by charging my card without my knowledge. To me this is not acceptable and probably not even legal.

This was a horrible experience. Before we got our seatbelts on the driver was demanding that we pay him more money and stated that tolls were not included. He was very aggressive and screamed at us and asked if we were going to pay cash for the toll or a card? He made us all feel uncomfortable and I would never recommend this service to anyone as we did not feel safe!!!!

The driver was right on time. A very comfortable, nice vehicle. Efficient and helpful driver. Easy drive.
