Booked weeks in advance. HeliNY cancelled the night before due to weather, which is fair enough. What’s not fair is what came next. No refund, just a 1 year credit they admitted we couldn’t use before we leave New York. We won’t be back within the year, so the credit is worthless.
Their solution? Transfer the tickets to someone else. So I’m expected to go out, advertise their company, and sell my own expensive tickets at a discount just to recover some of my money. That’s not customer service, that’s offloading their problem onto me.
Every objection gets the same answer: “it’s policy.” A policy that takes your money for a service they never delivered isn’t a policy, it’s a scam dressed up in fine print. Awful company. Book elsewhere.
