I would especially like to thank Emile, Ryan, and Michael for the incredible experience they gave us on April 30th, 2026, during our 7:30 PM chauffeur + 45-minute helicopter tour package with Wings Air Helicopters. I had booked this activity to celebrate my partner’s 30th birthday, and it truly exceeded every expectation we had. It is a memory we will keep forever. Already during the booking process, Samantha answered all of my questions with efficiency and kindness, which made me feel reassured and excited before the experience had even begun! On the day itself, Emile picked us up and drove us to Westchester Airport. He was absolutely fantastic. He knew the helicopter tour was a surprise for my partner and kindly played along, helping build the excitement in such a natural and thoughtful way. The drive itself already made us feel incredibly special! Then we met Ryan and Michael for the helicopter tour, and from that moment everything felt magical from beginning to end. Our pilot was amazing: professional, reassuring, and attentive. He shared interesting information about New York while also giving us space to simply enjoy the breathtaking views together. What touched me the most throughout this entire experience was the way these three persons made us feel. They did not treat us like just another booking. They made us feel genuinely important, almost as if we were the only guests they had ever welcomed! That level of care, warmth, and attention is incredibly rare. Thank you again for giving us such a unique and unforgettable moment. We will cherish it forever.

The helicopter flight was great and more than expected. We extended the flight to 45 minutes to reach lower Manhattan. We booked the pickup by a car service. And pickup was possible even in Brooklyn. We just asked via email. We had to pay some additional 50 dollars. Communication was fast and easy. The pilot was also able to accommodate our wishes, for example flying slower at Midtown and Timesquare to allow for better photography. We can only recommend the trip with Wings Air! Our experience with the Wings Air Helicopters team was absolutely amazing! A huge thank you to Samantha and Ryan—my wife and I had the best time. The communication was excellent, and everything was crystal clear from the very beginning. I personally recommend the 45-minute tour that includes the Statue of Liberty; the hotel pick-up and drop-off service is also a fantastic addition. Our pilot, Ryan, was incredible. You can truly tell he loves what he does. Since it was our first time in a helicopter, we weren't used to the sounds or movements, but Ryan explained everything in advance and made us feel incredibly comfortable. Thank you, Ryan, you rock! Views were pretty amazing but I wish it was longer cause it’s a bit of a trip from from starting point to manhattan. For 950 I would like to see more. My trip was the 30 minute one that excluded Statue of Liberty. You basically just fly around manhattan and come back. Spectacular views but not the greatest value for the money.

Amazing experience, with lovely views and pilot. Only improvement would be the $3 sparkling wine which was advertised as champagne

After an initial hiccup due to the grid locked New York traffic we were picked up from our hotel in midtown and driven to the airport. We had a brief safety talk and then taken out to the helicopter. We were taken on a very smooth 45 minute night flight over New York, our pilot was very knowledgeable and pointed out the different sights on the way, absolutely amazing views of the city. After the flight we were driven back to our hotel although the driver did offer to drop us anywhere we wanted. All in all a very professional and enjoyable experience.

I’m literally lost for words??? If you’re looking for a cheap quick helicopter 🚁 ride (most 12 minutes) please please book via Wings. I booked the 45 minute flight for my daughters 18th birthday and from being picked up via the most friendly driver Emile (couldn’t have wished for better travel as Emile was a so friendly talking us through the drive and areas and reassuring us re the flight! What an absolutely fantastic person he was!!!! Upon arriving at the airport we were introduced to our pilot James and again I’m literally lost for words with regards to how professional he was!! Upon taking off for the 45 minute flight James throughout was the complete pilot and honestly never thought I would experience a night flight like that??? Literally James is an absolute legend of a pilot and one of the nicest guys I’ve met!!!! Thank you James for making my daughter’s 18th birthday 🎂 the best day ever!!!! Wings you are the BEST OUT THERE AND THE REAL DEAL 🚁🚁🚁

The trip was fantastic, we got picked up from Times Square and taken to white plains where we had a 45 minute flight around manhattan and the surrounding boroughs, it was a fantastic trip with the city all ablaze with lights.

The best experience in my life! 45 minutes of stunning views, two circles around the Statue of Liberty (so we could see and make pictures from each helicopter side). I’d do this again and again.

What an absolutely amazing experience from the moment we was picked up by our driver Emile who was professional courteous and also a good laugh along the way which helped settle the nerves Then arrival at the airfield we was welcomed and offered refreshments and given a brief safety video to watch Once completed the safety video we was transported to our helicopter and as it was our anniversary the added extra of flowers and champagne just gave that little more spark to our flight Our pilot (I'm rubbish with names but I'm sure it was Anthony but I maybe wrong) but however our pilot was amazing at easing nerves and was very informative and professional but also able to have some good jokes with on our journey If you are fortunate enough to experience this trip you won't be disappointed especially if you have great weather If I could give this experience a 10 on trip advisor I would as definitely worth more than a 5

Anthony was a wonderful pilot and tour guide that gave my husband and I the experience of a lifetime. He was knowledgeable, affable and extremely professional. Don’t return home from New York without experiencing this tour, because no one wants to go home and say I wish I did that. The previous day we did a 7 hour bus, walk and ferry tour of New York. However, we were shown a whole new perspective from the sky. Traveling to Westchester airport allowed us to see some of the outer suburban area. We saw country clubs, dams, stadiums and so much more that we hadn’t seen. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up so close was an amazing experience. Loved it.

“Don’t go home regretting that you didn’t experience things whilst you had the chance.” We took a 45 minute helicopter tour and it was absolutely fantastic. The views were spectacular and gave us a completely different perspective of the city we’d toured the previous day. We were in awe of just how expansive New York is. Our tour guide was friendly, attentive and had really good knowledge of all of the areas we covered and saw in the distances. Consider this one of the best presents you could give yourself, because the memories will last a lifetime.

I was very weary of going on a helicopter tour, but those fears all went away as soon as we met our highly experienced and friendly pilot and started liftoff! Brian was great!! Stopped and made sure we had all angles of landmarks for the best photos. Very smooth ride (we opted for the twin engine). Comfortable and mesmerizing. Highly recommended!

Was not aware of an option of the helicopter I got put into a small one, not the one that they have been advertising throughout their page

Next time, I’ll order the 45 mins one, so we can go to the Statue Of Liberty. This time, 30 mins time flight is not long enough to go to the southwest side of Manhattan.

Amazing experience! Everything was perfect. the driver Emile was really kind and the car was clean and he drove very well with a fantastic playlist of songs appropriate both for the go and the return. The pilot was incredible: very professional and kind and fun. He also explains a lot to us but at the same he was able to let us our time to watch and make pics. The view was stunning. We had a long helicopter ride of 45mins. It worths the money and I would highly recommend it to everyone. That’s the best way to enjoy all NY’s Burroughs.

The best of the best!!! I have flown with Wings Air several times, Including once again just a few weeks ago and they really have no competition. They are so far above the rest In every way possible! I seriously can't imagine going up with anyone else as they have the best pilots on earth and the best company to deal with! Last time working with Anthony who I love, we had two helicopters that were almost side-by-side times which was so cool. He would go everywhere I asked him to...Stay as long as I wanted....and with the doors off once again, I got some of the best shots I could have ever asked for! Wings Air.....There is no substitute! The most memorable thing was that I got to share the view of NYC with my best friend. It was so beautiful. I had never done anything like this before. Amazing experience. And our pilot sorry I forgot his name, very experience, knowledgeable, he took care of us very well. Everyone must try!!!!

We had a fabulous transfer from our hotel in Manhattan, our driver Emile was brilliant, our pilot Manuel put us at ease (i was very nervous) and gave us a tour of a lifetime, Anna who dealt with my many queries was brilliant as well. We cannot recommend Wings Air highly enough, superb value for money, a memory to treasure, thank you all!!

They made me wait 40 min , with out explanation, I booked the trip special to see the sunset, and of course I can not see it because of the 40 min delay

Viator makes the transaction part of this experience seamless! Against my better judgment I used another company and it was a complete scheme. We got emails from a bot server to the minute 24 hrs before departure that simply stated "we have to cancel due to equipment rotation" and we got zero refund. All correspondence from that company was limited and sent from auto generated responses. Hours, and I mean less than 12 hours later, we booked through Viator for a similar flight. Viator emailed confirmation, sent waivers in advance, texted us updates and even texted us directions to the airport we were to fly out of. The flight was amazing, we were treated kindly from the start to the landing and the staff at the aiport location was great. I have used Viator before for a Vegas flight and won't use anyone else from now on. Great company, and they fully back their services. Trust your gut, the other guys are looking to simply fill flights or generate income through automatic cancellations. Thank you Viator for making our trip!

This was an absolutely unbelievable experience! My girlfriend & I chose the 45 minute tour, and it was everything we could ask for and more. Having the helicopter to ourselves was absolutely the right move, and our pilot Kevin was friendly & knowledgeable. We saw everything from NYC & beyond including the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center and the State of Liberty. We flew right above, next to and around everything multiple times and were able to take mind-blowing pictures and videos of it all. Tip: we chose the 5pm tour in Feb, and we’re able to witness the city during golden hour/sundown and when the lights came on by nightfall. It was the perfect time! This was absolutely worth every penny - truly an experience we will never forget.

I wanted to make something special and unique for my boyfriend’s 35th birthday. I was searching on my phone for different activities, but any of those didn’t catch my attention as when I found private helicopter tour with Viator. I knew this would be a perfect surprise for him and definitely cool experience for both of us, as we have never experienced flying the helicopter before. When I booked our flight, I didn’t say anything until the day we were supposed to leave to Westchester. He felt something is going to be magical, but when he found out he almost didn’t go, I have to admit, both of us were very nervous, and the same time excited. Our hearts were pounding as never before, but thank you to our pilot, he made everything smooth. As soon as we were up in the air our fear disappeared. Breathtaking views of all bridges, Yankee stadium, NJ, beautiful NYC night, streets of Manhattan, the Lady, the Wall Street, Time Square, Ground Zero, etc; it looked so different, so beautiful from up above it’s impossible to even describe our feelings and emotions .... we were so happy we had such an amazing time up in the air. Moreover, our young pilot was very friendly, he even convinced my boyfriend of taking courses to get a license. I was very surprised when in the first place he wasn’t so sure he wanted to do this, but after such an unforgettable moment and experience after we landed, he got super excited and told me - I want to do this again and I want to try to get pilot license. ))) We talked hours after our helicopter tour... Still can’t believe we did this. 45 min fright went by too fast.... but the more is yet to come. Hoping to do this again by watching sunset with my loved one! We had the most amazing experience with this company....booked in advance via TripAdvisor before we arrived in NYC. Wanted the exclusivity of a private tour (as I’d planned to propose to my partner) and we were not disappointed with the customer service and the overall experience. Our original booking for the 30 December had to be cancelled owing to heavy rain and strong winds but we were offered an alternative flight on New Years Day (company don’t normally open on NYD) which we took. Lance our pilot was brilliant....for 30 mins he enthralled us with his dry sense of humour and knowledge of NYC from the air. Spectacular views of all the great city landmarks culminating in my proposal to my partner as we circled the Empire State Building.....truly memorable in every way!! A special note also to Paulo, our driver, very knowledge and thoroughly professional. We will most definitely fly with you again!! Thankyou for an unforgettable experience....🎉🎉🌇🌇

Terrible customer service. Booked a last minute provate tour for Dec 15 on a bright sunny day. The provider did not honor it and was not willing to refund and was rude on the phone. Said that they can only reschedule and not refund even though it was them who cancelled the booking. Buyer beware.

Our 45 minute tour started on time and was significantly enhanced by humorous and useful information provided by our pilot. The helicopter was climate controlled, comfortable, and allowed for incredible 180 degree viewing. Highly recommended.

Wir haben am 1.11.2026 einen privaten Hubschrauberrundflug (45min) ab Westchester gemacht. Bei besten Wetter hat uns Josiah, unser ausgesprochen sympathischer Pilot, über ganz Manhattan bis zur Freiheitsstatue 🗽 geflogen. Dabei hat er uns alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt und erläutert. Auch der Transfer vom Hotel/zum Hotel in Manhattan hat völlig problemlos trotz New York Marathon funktioniert. Der Service von Wings Helikopter ist einfach perfekt. Für uns war es ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, dass wirklich uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen ist und jeden, wirklich jeden Cent wert ist.

It was an incredible experience. Not only was the flight itself unforgettable, but the whole thing around it was great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Even the pick-up / drop-off service tuned us into the experience. Thanks to everyone, we enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend it.

Tremendous. Like others, I chose this company based on the glowing reviews and were not at all disappointed with the result. Flight carried out as part of a marriage proposal, and preparation for the day of the flight, the entire team is very professional and caring. Christine, one of the people on this team, speaks French which was a great help, but the other people also have some knowledge or at least are very understanding. We took the driver option, and it was also very pleasant. Very clean vehicle, very friendly driver and possibility to arrange to pick you up at point A and drop you off at point B on the return. The flight is spectacular, even more so at night I think. The pilot takes the time to explain to you what we see and the camera is really great for taking photos or videos. Thanks again to the whole team, it was a wonderful moment for us and one we will not forget!

Expensive, but the 45 minute tour is worth it. No matter what the weather. We were lucky, after we had already started and had to turn back due to bad weather. From the airport outside of NYC, it's about 1.5 hours. Around $30 by train there and back and then around $20 by taxi or Uber to the airport. You're alone on the plane, the pilot and service are very friendly. What's a shame is that the providers offer transfers from NYC or hotel to the airport and back, unfortunately disproportionately expensive! Around €350. Even an Uber is cheaper. Of course they have to make a profit, but we took an Uber back from the airport to Manhattan for $85. These tours in NYC that take 15 minutes are nothing compared to these tours. In NYC, you sit with 4 other people on the plane (maybe even in the middle seat!) and it's only a short flight for just under $250 per person. It's better to pay €1000 for both of you and enjoy 45 minutes and everything. Unique! You have to do this once in your life. I can definitely recommend it. Tip: at night, don't take photos, rather videos and then a screenshot afterwards.

We booked the 45 minute flight for couples and loved it! We were picked up from the hotel and taken to the airport, supplied with champagne and had a great flight over Manhatten and up to the Statute of Liberty, which we flew around once from each side (so that we both had ample opportunity to photograph it). After the flight we were quickly taken back to the hotel. The crew and back office were extremely professional and friendly - we can only recommend this experience!
