This tour was really fun. The Upper West Side is so pretty and it was great to learn some history. All the food was delicious. Definitely come hungry!

It was a great experience. Alex was very knowledgeable. A lot of walking so make sure you take a fan and water.

This was definitely worth it and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting nyc!! Our tour guide Ryan was amazing, very knowledgeable about the restaurants and sites while also making the tour fun. Got to eat some amazing food including New York classics like pizza, bagels, and hotdog, and some hidden gems. A great way to see part of the city and eat some good food!!

Ryan was great. He has a terrific personality. I learned so much from him. We go to New York often but never visited the Upper East Side. What a nice area of the city . I would highly recommend this tour . It was well worth the money.

As many trips as we've taken to NYC, had never done the Upper West Side, what a shame, the architecture, culture and FOOD, just go! Every food stop will be your new favorite, and our guide (Alex) was so incredibly knowledgable, you couldn't do this on your own and why bother with experts like Alex?

Great stories and Alex had a lot of good knowledge of the city. She had a lot of details to her stories and did well making everyone feel comfortable while on the tour.

As an early birthday treat, my mum booked us on this incredible food tour of the Upper West Side with Tasty Tours NYC, led by the fantastic Ryan—personable, knowledgeable, and fun! We started at Broad Nosh Bagels for a delicious, overstuffed everything bagel, then stopped by Mimi’s Pizza for a perfectly prepared cheese slice (and garlicky knots!). Next was a sweet treat — Zabars' famous chocolate rugelach, paired with what was probably the best coffee of our trip. Along the way, we saw a real Banksy ('Hammer Boy') and visited Strawberry Fields in Central Park, where a musician played Imagine—a moving moment. Then came our favourite stop: Gray’s Papaya hot dogs—utterly delicious! Finally, we ended at Magnolia Bakery, where Ryan surprised me with a birthday candle in my banana pudding, while my mum had a delicious cupcake! We left full and happy—such a fun morning! Highly recommend this tour! 🍕🥯🌭🎂

The walking tour with our guide Ryan was fantastic! We learned things we had never heard of before and had the best food and treats. The pizza was absolutely delicious! Visiting the John Lennon memorial was memorable as well as the live music. I would highly recommend this tour!

To be honest all the stops/food were equally good, so no one stands out especially. I did enjoy the Jewish Delicatessan where I bough some coffee beans. Our guide Ryan was entertaining and knowledgeable, giving us insights into this part of the City that aren't on the main "tourist" areas.

This was my second tour with Tasty Tours and Ryan, having done the Upper East Side food tour a few months. Another fantastic tour. Ryan is a great guide with a passion for what he does. In addition to some delicious food, you’ll learn about some Upper West Side landmarks which you may have just walked by without noticing. If you’re thinking about moving to the city or new to the city like me, this is a great way to visit different neighborhoods and get a feel for them. Ryan was a great tour guide. Great stops and lots of neighborhood info. Pizza was the best anywhere and it was simple cheese pizza! Hotdogs were remarkable and set a new standard, too. Pace was good; length of tour perfect.

He has amazing food knowledge; including warnings not to try to make NY boiled bagels at home. He was so personable and continued our tour despite many participants canceling.
