Hudson Yards is a brand new real estate development within Manhattan - a mini city. It is the largest private real estate development in the country. It is home to Vessel, an elaborate honeycomb-like structure that rises 16 stories and consists of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500 steps, and 80 landings for visitors to climb.

We absolutely loved this tour...Our tour guide, Michelle, was full of interesting information about these sites. She was passionate about New York and radiated her enthusiasm. Chelsea Market is a cornucopia of international culinary delights. We were able to sample many delicious treats so do not eat before or plan to lunch after the tour. Highline Park is most interesting and an intersection of local plant life and art really seated upon an architectural wonder. Like A Local Tours is a women-owned company, which we love supporting. Definitely take this NYC tour!! Afterwards, if time permits, visit Little Island. This is a short walk from where the tour ends in Hudson Yards and it will be well worth your time.....it's a unique respite from the hum of NYC streets.

This was terrific team building event. They were accommodating to our special requests and also gave us a great private tour. Our tour guide had a lot of energy ,,, and really helped make the evening special.
It was plenty of food. Good amount of time. Nice to walk on high line after eating so much. Some of the relationships with vendors seemed unsure, so it was awkward when we had our "30min free time" & were told to go get a free flight. Maybe this was bc guide was new...

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area as well as other great spots around the city. We really enjoyed the tour and all the food samples! He is so aware of all the art in the area and took every opportunity along the Highline to point out significant murals, buildings, and the significance of what we were seeing. I wish I could recall his name. He's just finished with culinary school and is working as a baker. We all really had a very good day!
Our host Harry was hilarious and very informative! All the food was great and the whole group loved their experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the city who loves food and history!(And pop culture)

We went on the virtual tour with Jillian - what a great idea. There were some technical hiccoughs but Jillian took them in stride and we had a lot of fun . Great pics both real time and historical. We can't wait to be back in New York and able to do in person tours once again. She is a terrific tour guide, both in person on previous tours and online last week.
A few months ago, my company had the wonderful opportunity to work with Lauren to create a private tour of the Chelsea Market and High Line. We were able to pick and choose the attractions that we wanted to see and food stops that we wanted to try. The pricing was very reasonable for the length of the tour, quality of the tour guide and amount of food & drinks that we had a chance to sample. One particular fun highlight was the hot sauce tasting at Heatonist. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for an educational and entertaining activity in NYC that can be customized for any guests.
Very good ride. The meals we tasted at Chelsea Market are a delight! Our guide Alvaro was the best! Good disposition and knowledge. It is worth taking the tour!!!
