Perfect seamless tour. The highlight was our visit to an Amish family. Rest break were sufficient and our tour bus was very clean.
The full day was full of interest and filled with hi lights brilliantly verbalised with clarity from our guide Michael
Overall trip is pretty amazing and our guide Sharon is so knowledgeable and helpful. It is worth the trip!!
We had a Spanish guide when your company said we would have an English guide. Very disappointed. I hope you do better for the next English travellers.
outstanding tour of historic sites in Philadelphia, as well as present day Amish people. Tour guides are very knowledgeable about all the places and history of where we went. I highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Melina was very informative and made the tour very fun too! We saw some great history in Philadelphia and then on to an Amish Farm which was a great wholesome experience.
Melina was outstanding! Informative, fun and made everything run very smoothly. Philadelphia was even better than we expected but the real highlights was the Amish farm. Absolutely incredible and wholesome. I'd recommend this to anyone!
We enjoyed so much so Philly and the Amish , the guide Oscar can not recommend more he was amazing smart and helpful like no one I met helped us with issues we had answed questions and super professional!
Great day. No issues or pt. Went like clockwork.
Great tour guide. Comfortable bus. Safe driver.
Everything was very good from the beginning to the end. Sharon is the best. Very knowledgeable and patient.
The Philadelphia tour was worth it seeing sites important i. American’s history. However the stop at the food market was toooo short while the stop at the Amish market was tooooooo long. People walking around to kill the time. The amish visit is a time waster. You visit a barn and see the animals. No difference except for the beard. Modern systems are added hence not the traditional no electricity, no equipment set up. I would prefer to have more time at Philadelphia itself. Guide was cheeky asking all the time for tips.
Great choice and sequencing of activities. All enhanced by a wonderful friendly guide, Oscar. We deliberated about taking a day out of our time in New York, but are delighted we did. Do this trip! It was remarkably good and great value for money.
Very nice tour of the city and learned a lot about the history; Amish country experience is unique and interesting to know the lifestyle.
I really enjoyed this tour! I had always wanted to visit Philadelphia, so finally getting the chance to see it made this trip really special for me. I also loved visiting Lancaster and the Amish countryside. Being so close to nature, surrounded by the beautiful countryside and animals, was exactly my kind of experience. And spoiler alert: the pigs going down the slide absolutely made my day! Our guide was incredibly friendly and made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and I’m really happy I decided to go. Definitely a day I’ll remember!
Great experience. Okei is amazing, knowledgeable, personable, and friendly.
Peter was the best Guide for this Trip
It's a good trip. But we weren't aware that we'd be on a bus with three different languages. There were times where that didn't work very well.
It was a good experience, learning about the history. I was a bit disappointed about the buggy ride. That’s not what I anticipated.
An awesome experience especially touring the Amish country in Lancaster. Truly enjoy the buggy ride!
Oscar was an amazing guide for our tour to philadelphia and the armish farm. He is very likeable and engaged in both history facts and and information as well as small talk. He did not disappoint with energy and charisma. If you have Oscar as your guide you are guaranteed an informative and fun day packed with laughs and great historical facts thrown in. Highly recommend
I had a great time with my family. Sharon is a knowledgeable person who took extra effort to explain the history and guide us through this tour
A wonderful tour covering lots of different interests including American history, Philadelphia sights & Armish culture. Oscar (our guide) is very knowledgable, explained everything well & patiently answered all my questions. All the stops were interesting - including the meal breaks. Highly recommend this trip. However we were told to sit at the back of the bus where there were only 9 English speaking passengers. Loud engine droning noise & a rough ride. Would have preferred to be closer to the front where the Italian & French passengers got preferential treatment.
A very enjoyable day. A great and very knowledgeable tour guide
Awesome staff from the bus driver to the tour Guide. She was very knowledgeable and didn’t make us feel rushed. The visit to the farm was the best, nice family petting and feeding the animals and buying their fresh made products. They are delicious, what a difference from eating stuff from the supermarket.
My friends and I enjoyed our day trip from NYC to Philadelphia. I’d definitely like to try other itineraries.
I would suggest the gathering time in the morning for the weekend should be at 15 minutes later . Instead of 6:30 am it should be pushed back to 6:45 am for the visitors coming from New Jersey state . The reason is the public transportations like The PATH doesn’t start operating until 6.00am so if you live in NJ side you can’t make it to Port Authority Depot at 6:30 am. Usually on the weekends NYC traffic is not jam packed so a little late starting the bus journey does not affect the whole trip . Secondly the trip to visit BETSY Ross house is completely wasted of time . The museum is only a souvenir shop and you have to pay extra to get it.
Great tour get to see a lot and our host Iris was great very informative and helpful we especially loved the Amish part
Very nice experience and funny tour guide
Nice trip and many thanks to our guide Sharon.
Really enjoyable experience seeing the key parts of American Independence and learning about some Amish culture at the same time. The farm with its cute animals and lovely homemade lemonade was a welcome bonus on such a hot day as today. The air conditioning on the bus was welcome! You don't need to buy breakfast in advance. The only opportunity you'll get to eat a Philly cheese steak sandwich is at the breakfast stop.
The best experience in the amish ville
We had a wonderful experience on our Philadelphia tour through Viator. The tour manager, Carlos, was excellent throughout the journey. He shared interesting historical insights about the city and ensured we covered everything mentioned in the itinerary. His teammates were also supportive and managed the group well. A few considerations before booking: 1. If you are traveling with a toddler, the tour may feel a bit fast-paced (we felt that way). More time at each destination would have made the experience even more enjoyable. 2. On our return to New York, there was only the driver on the bus and no tour manager. In case of an emergency, having an additional staff member onboard could be helpful. Overall, it was a great experience, and we enjoyed the trip.
I had an amazing experience on the Philadelphia and Amish Country day trip from NYC. Everything was well organized, and the itinerary was excellent. We had plenty of time to see the highlights of Philadelphia and enjoy the beautiful Amish countryside. A special thank you to our tour guide, Andrea, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized throughout the day.
Best Philadelphia and Amish area tour ever! Very informative and food was all delicious!
We had an amazing experience on this tour! Everything was well organized, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. Visiting both Philadelphia and Lancaster County in one day was the perfect combination of history, culture, and beautiful scenery. A special thank you to Andres, who was an outstanding guide. Having a Spanish-speaking guide was a huge plus and made the experience even more enjoyable for my mom. Andres was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and passionate about sharing the history and culture of each place we visited. The Amish carriage ride, the historic sites in Philadelphia, and the delicious food were all wonderful. We left with great memories and a deeper appreciation for the places we visited. I highly recommend this tour, especially for Spanish-speaking travelers. Thank you, Andres, for making our day so special!
Very informative guide and good experience overall ! Only downside is the bus leaves early in the morning.
Suley, our tour guide did an amazing job. Excellent bus driver as well. Super fun and informative. I would highly recommend.
Fantastic day out seeing the country side and visiting historic places in America. Do your self a Favour book your trip today!
Very interesting and great day away from the city , loved seeing the liberty bell and visiting Lancaster
It was an amazing trip and even with the weather being fickle, the guides made sure we had a great time. Would definitely recommend. I only wish it was longer.
It was an amazing experience. Iris, our tour guide, is very approachable and helpful. I strongly recommend this tour.
The tour was a really nice adventure away from NYC. Thanks to Sharon I felt like I understood a lot more about Philadelphia and the Amish community. I Highly reccomend!
The tour was amazing, the pacing, the guidance from Oscar. All top notch! If we come back we will definitely take another tour with you guys.
Andres is a great tour guide! Loved his professionalism and especially his sympathy! The places visited were beautiful and the time was well allocated to each activity. Thank you very much Andres for this wonderful experience!
Amazing trip would most definitely recommend
I was looking forward to the trip but was quite disappointed, the bus had no heating so after a while we stopped off and got on another bus..The free WiFi didnt work.. We were taken to see Benjamin Franklyns residence, but the guide didnt give us time to go and look at Franklyns grave which was on the way which several people were disappointed. There was stops along the way to eat ect..Got to the Amish community, didnt see any Amish people.. Included in the trip was a horse and buggy ride which was not driven by any Amish people. The buggy was crammed with people. We were taken around their community. It was a disappointment not seeing any Amish people as thats why we went.. The shops were lovely in their village...I wouldnt recommend this trip...The guides were lovely but I think the trip was boring and it was really cold
We did the Spanish tour of Philadelphia and Amish County and it was great. The guide is very friendly and has a great knowledge of the city and culture. We don't have more time on this trip but on future occasions we will repeat for sure.
Amazing Tour to the Amish Country! You see Philadelphia with the Rocky Steps and the highlight was the Farm at Lancaster, so many beautiful farm animals who are carrying a lot of love to share! we loved it so luch!
