Definitely worth the tour! I was able to get great pictures for our first trip to New York to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday.
Great for family, especially after you’re tired of walking around New York. We took the tour at sunset.
scam they dont have cruise big scammer
I did everything correct, went to both the boat place and the bus place and neither were running, there was nonody there or staff just signs, absolutely ridiculous. Never got a refund.
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Don’t go!! Horrible! We arrived there no boat - then a worker from an other boat told us this company is out of business and try to rip of people on trip advisor!!!! Horrible!!! SCAM!!! My parents came from Germany and I wanted to book them an amazing experience- I am so disappointed!!!!!!
We were provided an address for W42nd St & 7 Ave & found dedicated bus stop drop off area but after an 45min nobody had showed up while other bus tours have driven around a couple times at least. Horrible I structions. Something about a red lobster when there's no red lobster there. Also, nobody answered phones. A street vendor & food vendor even said the bus company are closed don't come there. so I'm Pretty sure they're closed & not operating. Not sure how or why Viator or TripAdvisor is allowing this scam to go on?!
Horrible. No cruise or buses were ever running the day we bought our tickets. My family and I waited at each destination for over 2 hours only to find out after I called numerous times to find out after the fact that no cruise or buses were running. I called the company Viator where I purchased my tickets and they said they needed to verify what I was saying is true before I could get a refund. Not accepting the fact that after waiting for hours at each destination and the fact that it was really cold, I contacted Viator to let them know I was there with my family at both events were a NO show. I would never recommend NYC statue of Liberty and bus tours to anyone.
The free boat tour is a scam. 40 people turned up at Pier 36 to no boat, no people, nothing. We waited for 2 hours along with everyone else way past the supposed start time of the tour. Then left - wasted time. The instructions were useless. I will not be using this company ever again.
The experience was nice. However, it was very misleading the ferry is not apart of the bus tour. You will have to schedule it at a later time. Which can be difficult if it doesn't fit into your travel plans. I was unable to do the ferry. So I lost 1/2 of the "advertised" experience. Tried to call. No refund.
WORST EVER TOUR BUS COMPANY, ABSOLUTR RIP OFF! (READ TO UNDERSTAND MORE) This is the scandalous company. I bought tickets from the vendor in Time Square. The next day, I have really hard time catching the bus! They gave me the tour map with the bar code to download the app. I didnt even work! IT NEVER WORKS. I can't call them, I cant track where they are either. But luckily, I found while I was walking on the street, the bus driver guided me where the bus stop was. So I've decided to wait in front of the actual bus stop and it took me almost 30 minutes to wait for them to arrive. Upon entering the bus, I was SHOCKED TO SEE HOW DRITY AND POORLY MAINTAINED THE BUS IS! The driver is terrible. The bus is so shaky to the point ONE OLD LADY FALLEN OFF HER SEAT, hurting her back. Even myself, I almost fell as well. This is absolutely unacceptable! Then when I arrived for the boat, they said the boat is mechanically broken down. That is the second discomfort. Hence, I have asked for a refund. They posed me with an extremely rude attitude, refused to give me a refund. They were showing aggressive attitude as well, swearing off at the passenger (using profanities) Worst ever company. Avoid at all cost.
Could not find the bus. Directions were not clear. Ended up paying again for another night lights tour with another company. Would not recommend
It was windy, the location wasn’t clear. The bus bathroom door or back door was broken and kept opening and closing. The recording was talking to fast at one time we missed the part where they told us to look for the statue of liberty. The guys outside was helpful but there was mush they could do about the rain showers and wind.
Could not find the bus. No address was provided as to where to meet the bus. Missed out on the tour and had to book a tour with another bus company
Off and On Bus provided a smooth and reliable experience. The drivers and tour guide Sain were professional, patient, and very helpful during boarding and drop-off. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and everything ran on time. I appreciated the care and attention given to passengers, which made the trip stress-free. I would definitely recommend Off and On Bus for safe and dependable transportation.
Touring New York will always be a nice event. So much to see. This bus tour is no different, but it has its quirks. First off, we got snow the day before, and the company didn’t do anything about that on the top deck. Everything was covered with snow, and it was cold. So the only seats you could sit in, and there was only a few, were the ones that someone else had cleaned off or sat in and melted away the ice and snow. Also, the sound system had many problems so no one was quite sure if what we were seeing was really what was being described. Being at night, it was freezing, even inside the bus, and the employees didn’t really care or doing anything about it. No heater, blankets, etc…but I understand that the weather is not their fault, and on a nice night it would be a much more pleasant experience.
Our family had a terrible experience with this bus. Do not choose this bus and waste your money!!!! We waited an hour or more for the tour to start!!!!!! All the passengers even got off the bus because of so much delay and wasted time!!!!!!! Save your money!!! Worst experience ever!!!!!!!
This was literally a huge rip off! We arrive at 7:00 and board and 15 min goes by we ask what’s the hold up they say we need more people and we replied that’s not our problem refund us. They then say we have 2 people in the bathroom so 5 min we would go. Another 15 minutes goes by at this point I call Trip Advisor and request a refund which they transferred me to one of the guys that were there who stated were leaving in just a few minutes the 2 people will be right here. So he hands us earphones to hear the detailed tour! We take off and there was no detailed tour just 3 short NY tunes on replay the whole time. There was supposed to be Statue of Liberty tour included there was none! This is a total SCAM and waste of money Definitely not at all worth the hype - it was a short bus ride only a huge rip off from what they advertised we paid for! We requested a refund still waiting before disputing with credit card.
Honestly the negative reviews were right. The audio never worked and we left an hour after said time. The guys are gross venders and they don’t care about cleaning the bus.
This was a nice bus ride through the city. Got to see China town, empire state building, and some other attractions. Definetly worth the price we paid. Only criticism is that the tour included audio about the sites, and that audio was poorly timed, didn't make sense to where we were, and was repeated in different areas. It was confusing.
horrible service, extremely unpunctual (almost 1 hour delayed), bus was filthy, audio was at parts messed up
We never got close to the Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial and a few other locations. Only reason why I bought these tickets. Now being to New York for the first time, these locations are pretty far away Midtown, but don’t advertise that we will pass by all of these places. We go to see the 3 inch tall Statue of Liberty from the Manhattan Bridge. If I would’ve known that is how the tour would be, I would’ve found a better tour or just taken a taxi to those locations.
My sister and I had a fun time together we loved it such a nice experience the food was so good we saw the statue it was fun a nice
My sister and I had a fun time we liked the food and the set up the water was so nice the line was short tho it was a fun experience 10/10
Nice and great cruise me and my wife loved it great time beautiful would recommend 10/10 my kids love it too it was fun loved it
Me and my husband had a good time the food was good the tour guide was very informative and we learned a lot about nyc would definitely come back
We have to wait over one hour and 30 minutes and not body explain about the city they put one song over the headphones. Bus driver bad adituve I will don’t recommended this service to any body.
Has a great time with this with this it was a great fun day and we had enjoyed a lot together and we have a great time together thanks again
The boat was not overcrowded at all, very comfortable setting w/food and beverages available too! Great experience!!
Super fun there was food ,drinks and was explanation of where we are going and was a smooth ride going there love it and would do it again !!
It was easy to book. The description of tour is as described. The atmosphere was festive. I like the option to buy food and snacks onboard.
it’s great , great for a family trip very nice experience, a little shaky but it does the job very good snacks kids are having so much fun .
Awful would not recommend it to anyone! Waited 25 minutes for the bus and another 45 minutes to an hour before they took off. Right when it was starting found out, no Audio available and who knows if we saw everything, I know I didn’t see the Chrysler Building amongst other things. I bought another ticket for the Statue of Liberty, I was not going to go through that nonsense again. Good luck 🍀 travelers.
Waited almost an hour for bus to fill out for night tour before leaving out. Most of the audio was garbled like the chipmunks and could not understand the narrative of history and various sites.
We waited for a while. The original bus broke down. Staff yelled at people. The guide audio was not working. The driver drove very fast, and rushed through several lights. No seat belt. Overall, the view was great, but the experience was bad.
Great views. I loved all the information provided in the narration. I learned so much about beautiful new york city. Good music too.
Very cool experience, we got to learn a lot of information about the history of the city and gave some ideas of where to explore next. Amazing views too!
Best tour of statue of liberty - great views and friendly service! Bar on board for drinks and snacks too. Definitely recommend if you're in new York or local
Prompt and friendly service! Beautiful views for a great price! We would definitely go again. Thanks for a great time!!
Great family experience! The only thing to be improved is the audio tour on the open air bus. It didn't seem to to work for everyone nearby us. Please update your system! Staff was awesome though!
Awesome experience! Beautiful time with our family, unforgettable memories! Crew was very friendly and atmosphere was unique!
This trip was good with family with young children. Recommend it when you visit NYC. They were courteous and friendly. 👍
Loved both the night skyline tour and Statue of Liberty cruise. Worth the price. Truly recommend this tour. Only drawback is you have to wait for 30 mnts for the next bus to arrive.
You can buy too cheap tickets. The experiences was fine- especially the evening tour was great, however waiting time and service level were horrible on both the ferry trip and bus tour. Waiting 1 1/2 hours for both boat and bus. People were rude and skipping the line. There were too many people on the ferry.
Bunch of foreigners running it who were completely rude if you could understand their broken english, they loaded us on one bus let's us sit for over 30 min then moved us to another bus!! They said a bus leaves every 10 minutes. Well thats not accurate at all.
the views were great but it did take 3 hours to come got here at 4:30 and only got on the boat at 6 but besides that the music was good and the views were good
Boat is open and has lots of seating. Dock was a little hard to get to plan extra time if you are take public transport. Overall fun experience.
It’s informative and affordable. We enjoyed the trip and would do it again. There’s a top deck with seating as well as an indoor area. Wheelchair accessible.
A excelente costumer service and amazing looking on this boat I love it 😍 this is an awesome trip and it’s really cheap I want to do again!!!
