We chose the "Canadian & American Tour with Maid of the Mist Boat Ride" and could not have been happier. We experienced some of the popular attractions: The Maid of the Mist boat to the very base of the falls, Cave of the Winds on Goat Island including a walk out to the Hurricane Deck for those who love to get soaked, lunch at the Hungry Moose and finally the Skylon Tower, where you can see both Buffalo and Toronto, cities 99 miles apart. What really made the day was our tour guide, Randy. As we traveled between sites, he shared the history of the area and of the falls themselves, including a litany of people crazy enough to go over the falls in every contraption you can imagine, going back to the 1800s. We learned the history of Niagara Falls was dynamic in its early years, with its scientific and industrial period to its modern, enduring legacy as America's oldest state park. If you want to experience both sides of the falls in a single day without worrying about the logistics, this is the tour to take. Bring a change of socks or listen to Randy about how to enjoy the Falls while keeping you and your camera (mostly) dry.

What a great tour of the Niagara Falls area! From picking us up at our hotel, the tour itself, to dropping us off at our hotel afterwards, our tour guide Dayna was sensational! Over the Falls is just amazing! They contacted me beforehand about the tour and other places we wanted to visit, gave restaurant suggestions and general helpful tips for the days before our tour. They didn't try to push other tours, only made me aware that they could provide tours to other places we were going. DAWN was wonderful to speak to in advance and she set us up with NANCY as our private guide. There were four in our group. It was well worth the money. Nancy is a dream. Such a sweetheart, and took us where we could have a wonderful lunch away from the crowds and also to a great souvenir destination. NANCY also times everything perfectly. We had no large groups around us anywhere. They always seemed to arrive right after us. We all agreed, we would do it again in a heartbeat and request, Nancy.

We had a great tour of both the Canadian and USA side of Niagara Falls! Dana, our tour director, was excellent! She was informative and helpful, and made everything for the entire day go smoothly. It is a great deal for the money as you see the falls from so many different angles, and learn about the national park along the way - boat ride, tower, cave, walking trails, it was all great! The lunch stop was good too, and we felt that each stop provided sufficient time to take in the sites! It was nice to have someone else handle everything and not have to worry about parking, planning, waiting in lines, etc. Dana was great!

Was a great way to see everything. Was a long day but well worth it. Patty was informative and professional. We did get pretty wet on a few stops, but that was expected.

Randy was our tour guide and a lifesaver! He is easily the best tour guide we have ever had. The recommendations for the day of tour were immaculate. He is a wealth of knowledge for sites along the tour and what to do after if you have some time to spare. He recommended we go to the botanical gardens which were breathtakingly beautiful and a highlight of our trip. Randy made our trip the best experience and we would come back a thousand times just to spend time with him. It was also my friend’s birthday trip! And Randy made it perfect!

Eduardo was a great driver/guide. Easy pickup and drop off from our hotel. Small group of 25 was great. Bus was comfortable. Easy in and out of Canada.

Our tour was very informative, we learned a lot about the history of Niagara! Eduardo was an excellent guide and very good at keeping the group on task.

I was concerned about being sick on the boat. I used some nausea patches and I did not get sick at all. In fact, it was the best part of our trip. You see the falls but when you are in the boat almost under it, you feel it's power and really see it. I wish there had been more on the boat. However, the driver was very good and I felt that he was very attentive to everyone. Eduardo(I think), bus #34, did a great job!!

This was the perfect tour for us as we got to see so much in one day and we were still back to enjoy a nice dinner before sunset. What made it so great was our tour guide Nick. Taking the American and Canadian sides tour today was hands-down the best choice we could have made for our trip. From being picked up right at our hotel to being dropped off directly at all the top sites, it was completely stress-free—no searching for parking or waiting in long lines to buy tickets! A huge shoutout to our tour guide, MJ! MJ was so friendly, knowledgeable, and just plain fun to spend the day with. We can’t say enough great things about this experience. Door to door service. Experienced guide. Entry tickets for all attractions were included. It was an enjoyable day to see the falls from both sides of the boarder. The bus was comfortable and our guide/driver did an excellent job. I would recommend this to anyone that wanted to see the falls.

I did the Niagara Falls in 1 Day tour with Over the Falls, and it was everything I hoped for. Our guide, Dana, was the highlight. She was knowledgeable, friendly and well organized, and she kept the day running smoothly. What impressed me most was the pacing. We visited every attraction on the itinerary, and we always had plenty of time at each one to explore, take photos and enjoy the views without feeling rushed. That is rare for a full-day tour that covers this much ground. Covering both the American and Canadian sides in a single day is a lot, and the tour made it feel easy. I’d happily recommend Over the Falls to anyone visiting Niagara, and I’d specifically ask for Dana.

All the iconic experiences are included and you don't have the hassle of navigating, parking, or getting tickets. Our tour guide Dana was exceptional at knowing all the ins and outs of getting the most out of our tour and kept us all on schedule without feeling rushed or "herded". We had an amazing experience with Over the Falls Tours! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, informative, and so much fun. Our pickup was right on time at the designated meeting location, and our guide, Randy, was absolutely fantastic! Randy really made the experience special. He gave us a great overview of the day, shared interesting facts and stories along the way, and provided clear instructions before every activity, including where and when to meet. What we especially appreciated were all his insider tips on how to get the most out of each experience. His years of teaching experience definitely shine through in the way he explains things and keeps everyone informed and engaged. The Maid of the Mist was one of our favorite experiences! Randy explained exactly where to stand if we wanted to stay relatively dry while still enjoying great views. We, however, decided to head straight to the upper deck and embrace the chaos — and we're so glad we did! Getting soaked by the mist and feeling the power of the falls up close was unforgettable. The Cave of the Winds was another highlight. Being able to walk right up alongside the falls and experience that incredible rush of water was amazing. You can get as close (and as wet!) as you're comfortable with, which makes it even more fun. We also enjoyed the smaller scenic stops throughout the day, including views of the Niagara Whirlpool and a stop at the beautiful Floral Clock. Randy shared interesting information about each location, making even the shorter stops worthwhile. The Skylon Tower was another great addition, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the falls from above. One of the best things about this tour was getting to experience Niagara Falls from practically every angle — from the water, right alongside the falls, from scenic viewpoints, and high above it all! Our only minor criticism was the lunch stop, which was a little pricey, although that's somewhat expected at a tourist-oriented location. On the plus side, we enjoyed the opportunity to sample some fudge and maple syrup! Overall, this tour was absolutely worth it. We got to see and experience so much without worrying about navigating between attractions or figuring out the logistics ourselves. Randy's knowledge, organization, helpful tips, and friendly approach made an already incredible experience even better. We highly recommend Over the Falls Tours, and if you're lucky enough to get Randy as your guide, you're in excellent hands!

Excellent tour for the money. This tour covers Niagara Falls from all angles; from multiple locations above and next to the falls, to riding on the Maid of the Mist boat, which takes you past all the waterfalls for an up-close look. Some helpful tips would be to bring something to cover your shoes or bring waterproof shoes. Walking is not that difficult in most spots on this door, however, for those who struggle to walk, there are ramps and elevators. Lastly, bring some snacks your bottles of water. As a final note, Randy, our guide, was spectacular! He looked out after everybody, was very knowledgeable, and went the extra mile in every way.

Book it! We had one full day in the Niagara Falls area and this full day tour is the way to go. Our tour guide Randy was exceptional. He is a middle school teacher by profession. Middle school students and tourists…….this guy is a saint. He provided a very knowledgeable and informative tour, Randy enjoyed guiding, was happy, patient, and kind. Worth every penny!

Jessica, the tour guide was amazing! I think the whole tour was a little too fast and probably could have been extended another two hours But it gave us a very good taste of Niagara Falls and we will definitely book with this travel company again.

We had a wonderful tour with Jessica as our guide. We went on my daughter's 11th birthday and Jessica made sure her special day was acknowledged. She also had great local recommendations and knew all the ins & outs of the places on the tour. It was great just enjoying the experiences of the Falls without having to eorry about the logistics. Definitely not cheap, but would highly recommend for the ease.

Our tour guide, Randy, picked us up in a tour bus from our hotel and took us to numerous destinations at and nearby the falls. First was "Maid of the Mist," a boat ride by the American Falls to the heavily-misted area close to Horseshoe Falls. Get ready to get wet! Then we went to the "Cave of the Winds" which was a series of platforms (accessible by many stair steps) alongside the south end (right side when facing the falls, the section known as Bridal Veil Falls) where we were within a few feet of the falls at various levels. Reach out your arm and feel some of the spray from the falls! The “Hurricane Deck” was the best part because it was as close as it could be to the falls without being directly under them. There were plenty of times when a surge in the falls brought the water right onto the closest end of the deck, and you could feel some of the power of the falls as you get completely soaked by areas not covered by the poncho (from my knees down, hands and forearms, and face). I never knew one could get so close to the falls! This experience was better than Maid of the Mist. Randy then drove us to The Hungry Moose Food Court for lunch (not hosted) by the White Water Walk (class 6 rapids) and whirlpool area of the Niagara River. After that, we went to the Horseshoe Falls overlook area (by the Table Rock Restaurant), and finally to the Skylon Tower for views of both falls at the 175-ft level of the tower. Quite a day! About 5 hours total, beautiful views of the falls from lookout points and up close, and GREAT narration by Randy during the bus rides. Full of interesting stories, history, and tidbits. We would highly recommend this Viator tour by Randy for a memorable Niagara Falls experience!!
