Niagara Falls Tour- Complete

Took reservations when the maid of mist in Niagara was not even opened yet for the season and when I called tour operators- he said he can do it later that day when there was not any boats allowed in water for this season yet

Waste of $378 plus a $50 tip which I was told I had to give the driver. The driver paid for the cave of the winds which was $28 for the two of us. Didn’t even maid of the mist and everywhere else he took us was free and we walked to the day before. We wasn’t even told any facts abut anything we were seeing.

Ricky, our driver, was absolutely fabulous! He has a wealth of knowledge. He added so much to our trip. I would definitely ask for him on our next visit

The people I dealt with were very kind but they were not informative. I had booked this tour months before. Then I had to update my pickup spot. I couldn’t do it on my own so I chatted with someone and they assured me that although my hotel was not a pickup spot that there was one on the Canadian side. Long story short there wasn’t a pickup in Canada for the day I had booked it. I called the company and even though we were going to have a private tour they were not going to come pick us up. Very disappointing and I was not even offered my money back.

I booked this tour 2 days before the date it was to occur. After booking, I noticed there was no pickup time on the booking, nor in the confirmation. I messaged the company through Viator to confirm a pickup time, no response. I called, no answer. I called and emailed again, no response. The day of the tour, I finally got a hold of someone, they said they'd call me back with a time. They didn't. I called again, just to be told that the tour was cancelled. I'm only in Buffalo for a day, now I have to scramble to figure out whether or not I can go see the Falls, if there are even tickets available for the Maid of the Mist at this point. I'm so disappointed. If I hadn't called so many times, when were they going to tell me that the tour was cancelled? Would I have just sat in the lobby for hours? This is ridiculous. Don't use this company.

Wow what an amazing trip. We were surprised to have a private tour with the best guide. Ray was knowledgeable about the history of the falls and was very personable. Thanks for a great day.

We were interested in seeing the falls since this was our first (and probably last) opportunity to see it. My wife and I have been married for more than 52 years and haven't been able to get to the falls before. Misty Thunder and our driver/guide/jokester/singer Ray did us right. The trip was modified for our interests and abilities. Ray knew all the places. He explained what we were seeing and provided lots of background for it all. Because my wife is diabetic we had to stop for lunch. Ray took us to the Anchor bar for Buffalo wings. Terrific! You won't go wrong with Misty Thunder.

Misty Thunder Limousine had to get special permission to do both sides of Niagara Falls for us, and they did! My husband is disabled for military related hearing loss so a tour on a shuttle or bus is not an option for us. There would be too much noise. Using this company allowed my husband to be able to hear everything Ray (our tour guide) said. It also allowed us to individualize the tour for us. Ray was excellent and dropped us off at each stop, purchased the tickets, etc. This saved us time (and our feet). Ray has been there many years so was knowledgeable on the falls and stories about the falls, especially the US side. Thanks David and Ray!

Tour package was over price, they don’t do the whole itinerary plus ask for a tip $20 to $30 per person, not professional at all. We really enjoy the falls, we got confused in how the tours package works.

Everything about this tour was amazing! We went straight to The Maid of the Mist which was incredible! From there we had a few minutes to spare so our guide, Ray, took us on a little sightseeing tour. We saw things we hadn’t planned on seeing but so glad we did. He gave us background information on the falls and things in the area. We went to Cave of the Winds which was wonderful…you will get wet!! Ray offers to take pictures for clients and is sure to treat them with respect. He has a couple of jokes under his sleeves and you’ll be pleasantly surprised if he sings a tune or two for you! We had a blast and would highly recommend Ray as a guide/driver.

Misty Thunder Limousine picked us up in a stretch limo. Our driver and tour guide Ray was awesome, he stopped for warm chocolate chip cookies for each of us. We skipped the line at the maid of the mist and cave of the winds. On the way back we stopped at three sisters island .

This was our first visit to Niagara Falls. We got their early (9:30 am on a Sunday morning). There were plenty of open parking spots at the State Park lot. It is a short walk to the ticket booth for the Maid Of The Mist Boat Tour. Lines were very short and the early arrival paid dividends. The tour was around an affordable $30 and is worth every penny. It is a half hour or so and departs every 20 minutes approximately. You will be given the complimentary plastic poncho which includes a hoodie and which is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. The poncho will become soaked by the spray from the falls, but it will keep the rest of you dry. If you think this is some sort of tourist trap, please think again! No matter how many times you have seen movies and videos of the falls, those films just do not do the falls justice. Seeing the sheer volume of water from the river is no less than spectacular! The experience will NOT disappoint!! The lines move steadily on and off the boat. I understand there are other package tours with Maid Of The Mist for those who want to see more and spend more time. We were very happy we visited. The early start helped beat the crowds and any possible long lines.

The tour was absolutely Marvelous! The limousine was a pleasant and a most welcomed surprise —we were not expecting to tour Niagara in such luxury. But the limo wasn’t even the best part—it was Ray! Not only is he an excellent singer but also has a fantastic sense of humor. Ray’s knowledge of the history and landmarks is impressive. He'll give you trivia and stories about the place in such amazing detail you'd think he was there when it happened, make sure to have your camera ready for the best photo spots Ray points out along the way. And how could I forget the delicious cookies he brought for us all right at the beginning of our tour. If you're planning a visit, don’t miss this tour—And I sincerely hope you have Ray as your guide.

We saw everything there was to see in Niagara Falls. Ray was knowledgeable and entertaining. He has a great singing voice. He went out of his way to pick us up at the airport and get us to our hotel on the Canadian side.

A bit pricey, but an all-inclusive with all the highlights of Niagara Falls. Even with a limo as means of transport. Ray, our guide, told a lot about Niagara and its history. Funny and educational. Cookie included. We had a great time.

Our tour guide was Ray and he made it a very entertaining day singing to us like he belonged on America's got talent but more importantly very knowledgeable about the history of the falls had great interesting stories to tell it was just a great day would recommend this company all the way!

Me and my boyfriend had the best time on our tour with Misty Thunder Limo! Our tour guide Ray picked us up from our hotel in a stretch limo and was very knowledgeable and professional, and he had some great jokes and a wonderful voice! We went straight to Maid of the Mist where we were able to skip the ticket line, and by the time we were done there he had our Cave of the Winds tour already lined up (as well as some delicious fresh cookies for us!) And we also made a stop at Three Sisters Islands which I wasn’t expecting! Going with this company made the whole experience so much smoother and faster than if we had done it ourselves, though we got everything done quickly we never felt rushed at any of the locations. Will definitely recommend this tour to anyone heading up to Niagara!

Bad organization. Sold me the tour without services available, I used it for hour and a half and got barely nothing in return. Would not recommend

I would highly recommend Misty Thunder limousine. Our driver Ray was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and even sang to me on my birthday. He has an amazing voice too! My son said it was the best day ever. He got all our tickets for us and did a great job showing us around. We saw a lot of things we wouldn’t have seen without this service. We got to have an amazing day without waiting in line and worrying about driving everywhere. We would definitely book this tour again! You will definitely have a wonderful time!

Ray was our tour guide, and he made my wife's 40th birthday surprise one to remember! Ray was very good with the children and educated us all on the history of Niagra Falls! During the tour, he also sang a few songs for my wife (birthday present). Ray is by far, the best tour guide and I highly recommend this company. Before saying goodbye, my son hugged Ray and that tells you, how much of a good time we had with Ray! Ray, if you are reading this, thank you again for giving our family a trip to remember! This is a COMPLAINT. It is about Viator booking no. BR-1064380875 booked 09/15/2023. It was a disaster. Your hotline was not available by phone at any time, only Voice Mail. We were told by mail the starting time 3:00 pm. Unfortunately, the guide Ray arrived 20 minutes to late at the meeting point. He told us to give him a call or SMS when we are ready, and so we did. He answered „Yes“, but he did not come, so we waited until 6:25 pm. at the agreed meeting point, unsuccesful. This time was sufficient for us to learn that the last boat trip (Maid of the Mist) started at 5:00 pm. In the end, all other offered tour destinations could not have reached. The tour start was definitely to late. As Ray did not appear and did not give more answer by mobile phone, we had to WALK !!! from the Cave of the Winds back to the hotel in Canada! So we are very disappointed and we demand the refund of our money. We payed €437,56 via PayPal. That was not worth the tour!!!

Ray was a terrific tour guide. He had wonderful stories and history to share and keep us smiling. We were with one other couple and had an unforgettable time. Saved us time and learned and laughed along the way. Go with Ray! You won’t regret it!

It was a nice and unexpected treat being picked up in a limousine; however, the company never reached out to tell us the time of our tour. The pickup time was between 8am and 8pm. What kind of window is that? I sent repeated chats the days leading up to the trip (with no response). I finally got someone to pick up the phone the night before our excursion at 7pm. They told us our tour was at 3pm-8pm the next day. We thought it’d be a morning tour and we’re not expecting such a late start time. We had to cancel our evening tour of the power and light show and somehow squeeze in dinner. We also have little kids that typically eat at 6pm so this was awkward to try and squeeze in without lots of meltdowns and temper tantrums. The limo was fun though and the kids got a kick out of it. DJ Ray was able to get us to jump the line to buy maiden of the mist tickets, but still had to stand in a long line for the elevator. DJ Ray was juggling multiple families so we had to wait up to 20 min at the end of the night for him to pick us up, when we really just wanted to get home. It was fun to ride a limo, but probably not worth all the extra wait when we could’ve walked or gotten an Uber.

We booked this tour not knowing what to expect. Ray took great care of us. He picked us up, took us to all the great spots! Even places we didn’t know existed in Niagra Falls. He got our tickets for Maid of the Mist and for Cave of the Winds so we didn’t have to wait in those lines. Not to mention, he is incredibly passionate about the area and knows the history and interesting stories of the area and the falls. This is a must book! We were picked up around 10am and another couple joined us. We spent the entire day out in Niagra. It was an experience we will never forget!

My tour guide didn't pay attention of my location being in Canada All this information was provided phone, email, text and when I made reservations with viator. So long story short I was unable to experience maid of mist I sent you an email. I am expecting a refund

We had a great trip. Ray our guide was excellent. He knew his way around and was very knowledgeable. Ray was very prompt, polite and professional. It was a great experience.

When I booked the trip, I indicated to be picked up at the Falls View Sheraton on the Canada side. The evening prior I was looking at the itinerary and noticed no pickup time was listed. I called and they said we had to meet them on the American side as going through customs takes them too long. They did pick us up at our hotel in the end, and customs took 45 minutes to cross the Rainbox bridge. The limo was nice but the a/c wasn't working all day. Ray is a local and knows the falls lore, and did get us past the tour buses and right onto the Maid of the Mist-however we were rushed all day so he could pick up his 3:30 party. This was our first trip to Niagara and didn't know what to expect. In retrospect, since the M of the Mist tour cost approximately $40 per adult, and Cave of the Winds is approx $20, we would've walked or driven over to the US side from the Canada side and just bought tickets at the attraction. There is plenty of parking for $10-25 on the US side but get there early. The US side is dirtier and has far fewer attractions and eating venues. The Canada side is built up and has tons of shops - it is like a big Gatlinburg or a small Las Vegas. The view of the falls is way better FROM the Canada side, and you can take the Canada version of the Maid of the MIst, the Hornblower, from the Canada side just below the Falls View Sheraton. I would recommend the Cave of the WInd tour which is on the US side - you get right up to the falls - and wear water shoes and expect to get a little wet! To summarize - skip the tour packages and do the attractions yourself - everything is concentrated into a small area easily walkable for the average health person.

We weren’t able to ride together because of car issues,plus we had 2 kids under 5 which they got into cave of the winds and maid of mist for free bud we still paid over 100 a piece for them on the tour

Maid of the mist exceeded our expectations and the cave of the winds achieved had the biggest reaction from our grandkids

Ray was our guide. Given the amount of mayhem and humanity surrounding the Falls, one great aspect of our experience was not having to park or wait in line for tickets, as well as being escorted and picked up at the entrance points. He provided us with interesting and insightful information along the way. Ray's enthusiasm and passion for the area really shone through, making the experience even more enjoyable. He had a great sense of humor and kept us engaged throughout the tour, occasionally serenading us with some great songs--he is a fantastic singer. Given the extremely rainy, windy conditions that day he ensured that we didn't miss any important points of interest. Furthermore, Ray was extremely helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and had a memorable experience. He answered all our questions with patience. Overall, our tour with Ray was fantastic. He truly made the tour stand out with his exceptional guiding skills, friendly demeanor, and genuine love for what he does. We highly recommend him as a tour guide and would gladly join another tour with him in the future.

The booking business was terrible , the party did not take us to all the attractions, the person who suppose to give us pick and drop service he dropped us on one location and after that he never answer his calls we were left there with no help and did not gave us the ticket for one of the attraction

Ray was very friendly and informative and even gave us a little song!! He gave us plenty of time to see things and never felt rushed.

Ray was very informative, I'm glad we took the tour. His singing is awesome, thank you, ray. Made of the mist was fabulous and the cave of winds has no caves a lot of walking. Be careful if you're taking an older person.

Ray was very informative and spot on to get us to the paid tour locations. The only hiccup was there were 6 of us and the car Ray picked us up in only handled 4. Our hotel was very close to the falls so Ray improvised and took 4 and zipped back to pick up the other 2. He ended the day by singing to us.

What a great/fantastic tour we had, thanks to Ray our guide. The morning was very wet, yet he did a great job with the tour. The attraction lines worked out just right. There is no better way to see the Falls and learn local history.
