Niagara Falls Night Illumination Tour: American, Bridal And Horseshoe Falls

We were at the meeting place 30 minutes before the departure time, but the guide never showed. Waited an additional 30 minutes, but still a no show for the guide so we did the walk with three other customers without a guide. Now the tour company is claiming they were there 15 minutes before the departure time which just isn't true. I recommend for anyone planning to use this company to think long an hard before booking. I don't believe they are very trustworthy.

It's a walking tour so comfortable shoes. Our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable he gave us many wonderful facts about the falls, history, fun facts and even Nikolai Tesla. Also put us in perfect view of the fireworks 🎆. I would definitely recommend this tour. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Extremely disappointing experience. The tour company failed to communicate properly, and the guide never reached out to us before the tour and never met us at the pickup point where we arrived 30mins early and stayed for an hour trying to reach tour guide. We also tried calling the contact number provided so many times, but no one answered the call. As a result, we were unable to enjoy the experience we had planned and looked forward to. We spent significant time and effort trying to make the tour happen, but the lack of coordination and support from the company made the entire experience frustrating and super stressful. What should have been a memorable occasion, especially on a special day July 4th once a year, turned into a major disappointment. We traveled from Seattle & California to experience this once a year trip just to get disappointed with all the flights, travel and effort which we put into the trip has gone waste. Better communication and customer support are the minimum customers should expect when booking a tour. I definitely won’t recommend this tour based on my experience.

My experience was unfortunate. We arrived early and all parking was full at 1230 pm. We had a very long walk. over 2 miles because the only parking was metered so we had to pay $50 kept adding to the meter on an app. So much walking and i use a cane. I am disabled. The line for Maid of the Mist boat was an hour and half wait and they had us walk thru a maze to keep orderly so no sitting there. My apple watch said I walked 12,910 steps/ 5-6 miles. By the time we sat down at Hard Rock Cafe my legs were done. There was no way to do a walking tour so I messages the tour guide to cancel. It was too late for refunds. The public had free access to certain areas but we were only able to view the fireworks. Viator is a great app. The walking and parking issue was what put a damper on things. I enjoyed seeing Niagara Falls. I will use Viator again as I have done in the past. Thank you!

My guide was awesome. Beautiful time and lots of information. He took the time to show me Beautiful things along the walk.

Really bad experience the tour guide never showed up and I was there like 30 min before the timing of the tour. I called the number that was in my ticket and the person in customer service didn’t know English and didn’t know what I was talking. I hope they refund me back as I didn’t get any tour and no one showed up.

This tour took place in the daylight and essentially took us to the same views we saw on other tours. There was no illumination of the Falls whatsoever. Very disappointed. I do want to give props to our guide. She was a very nice lady, clearly proud of her city and knowledgeable about the area.

I was called the night of and asked to reschedule. I couldn't so I refused. Then he wanted to charge me an additional $25 fee because I was one person. That's not how this works. There are too many options. Don't pick this one. Waiting on a refund.

The tour guide never showed up. We tried calling them multiple times and voicemail was full. Tried sending the message via chat and was ignored.

The tour guide was late to begin with, didn't know until another tour guide from another company told us. Rushed through the tour. Didn't give us a chance to fully see the lighting, last 20 mins said we could watch the fireworks from our hotel due to 14 minutes left of our tour.

Had the worst experience ever. I followed the map directions and reached the pick up spot 15 mins prior to my tour time of 8.30 pm. I kept waiting but no one came or called up. Finally I started calling the operator at 8.30. Several calls went unanswered, then a guy picked up and constantly kept telling me to the Ferrous wheel (which is on the Canada side). I kept telling him that I have booked the US side of the tour and I'm standing at the exact pick up spot mentioned in the app. But he won't listen. Then after another couple calls, a guy picked up and said that since I was the only one on this tour, they had cancelled the tour. He told me to pay additional $45 and book a private tour for the next day. When I told him I didn't want to do that, he said I would need to contact Viator for refund. It was extremely cold and dark and chilly and I was standing outside the pick up spot handling all this mess instead of enjoying my trip! The tour operator had called me around 4 pm, but I missed the call. Apart from them, there was no email or message from the operator informing me of the cancellation. The viator customer care said that since the operator had not informed them of any cancellation, all that they could do was send them an email to confirm the situation and that I would have to wait 72 hours to hear back. I did get a refund finally, but the entire experience was unpleasant as a tourist! I have booked other trips with Viator and have always had a good experience. But this one was more than disappointing and highly unprofessional!

If there’s a negative star I would’ve put in a heart beat! DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS SITE! Absolute scammers! We booked a 60-minut walk and boat that ended up without a boat; got a $75 refund after I complained in length. We were standing in a 32 degrees freezing cold on the meeting spot and NOBODY came! I’m going to demand a full refund! You dont need a tour the thing just walk yourselves over! I’m going to report them to Better Business Bureau!!!

Amazing experience! Tour guide was very informative and shared the history or Niagara Falls. This was a breathtaking experience getting so close to the falls was beautiful and mind blowing.

While our guides were very pleasant and informed about the Niagarra Falls State Park and its history, this tour ended in 60 mins instead of the stated 90 mins. We walked from the Hard Rock Cafe to the American Rapids and then to Prospect Point after which we were escorted back to the starting point. $100+ charge for this seems over the top and definitely worth it

We were sold tickets for a boat nd walk experience, but there was no boat. Felt deceptive. Very disappointed!!!

We paid for the Illumination tour at night of Niagara Falls and the tour guide never showed up and there was no communication from anyone even though I replied to the tour guide to say that we were waiting at the designated spot. Don't waste your time and money. Just walk around the park at night by yourself.

We had a really good time and the tour guide was really knowledgeable. If you do the night tour with the boat, just know that the boat tour won't be until the next morning. Also the tickets will be in the PDF with the QR code.

Disappointing and misleading title. I thought the boat ride last night not the following day. I ended up losing time and money because of that

Our tour guide apparently had a wreck on the way to our tour. No one called and when we finally got someone on the phone we were only interested in a refund. We got our refund today so that earned a 3 star. Too bad all the way around, we were looking forward to the Falls at night. Hope the guide is all right!

I had been to the falls before but my husband had not. Danish was so sweet and knowledgeable and the perfect host!

I opted to secure our tours with a "live" agent and not online. I stated we were staying in Canada (Raddison Hotel). I made it clear we wanted the Canadian side tours when asked. I booked a morning boat tour with hotel pickup. The bus operator would call to confirm pickup time and location. Then we discussed all the evening tours. The agent said the tour that would have a 20-minute boat ride. We would be able to see the fireworks and light show from the boat. Then do the walking portion of the tour. Dinner was not included but, there would be an opportunity to make purchases. The confusion began when I saw the ticket and it stated the tour started on the USA side. I tried several times to correct the mistake. The CSR and the tour company denied my request. Even though I stated both tours were to be from the Canadian side. My family arrived at the Hard Rock Cafe at 8pm. Between 830p- 845pm the small group waiting for the bus were calling the number and leaving messages. Finally, a tour guide arrived on foot and tried to gather his group. He had difficulty reading his list. The few in the group helped gather everyone we could find. He decided to start with who he found. We all (12) were under the impression we were looking for a bus and were going on a boat ride. The tour was not what we expected. We walked to a bridge and watched the lights and fireworks. After the fire woks he walked five of the twelve back to the Hard rock...end of the tour. We expected more stops on the walking tour.

The tour was lovely! Seeing the Falls at night adds a whole new layer of beauty to them. Our tour guide Danish was great! He made sure we were safe from beginning to end, kept us engaged with interesting questions, and was overall just a very sweet young man. We definitely recommend.

Our tour guide was absolutely fantastically awesome! He was not only a story teller ..one of us was using g a using g a walker with a seat on it. The ramp etc. Was very hard for her. I could push her in it however our guide would not hear of that!! He pushed her EVERYWHERE!!! The one elevator was closed and her pushed her on, even though he was 10 years my senior!!! And yes I tipped that man accordingly!! He even waited with my friend while I walked up to get my car!!!! He is a awesome member of your crew. We went on several tours..one we even left after one stop because the guide was to say the least, unappreciative of us being on the tour. Thank you for a Great Tour! Sunnie and Gracie

The falls r just breath taken ... was gorgeous n the maid of the mist is unreal .... loved it all... n the shops the trolley n Park was beautiful...hard to belive what it would have been like that many years ago..

We had the best tour guide in Mike. He was quite knowledgeable and told terrific stories with exact details about the falls and the area around them. He had a wonderful personality that made it easy to enjoy the Falls and the fireworks show. We recommend him to everyone who visits.

The tour was very bad for me and my family, and it was slow in the journey and information, and my children also could not see the lights because of the crowding, and the tour was only the glasses without your help??

Horrible! Tour guide never showed. Finally left meeting point at 333 Prospect at 9 pm. Waiting on full refund!

Our tour guide canceled at the last minute Rescheduled for next day we were scheduled for light show and was substituted for a day show

I was very disappointed for the cost. All we did is walk out to the falls like everyone else was doing. It was beautiful, but we could have done this by ourselves.

I bought the tickets for the Niagara Falls Night Illumination Tour: American, Bridal and Horseshoe Falls walking and boat on Viator. When I arrive to the Made of Mist they said the tickets online don’t work and end up having to pay again. I have the receipt. Then for the tour we had to many problems. The lady that was suppose to do the tour arrived late 15 min late, and then pass attendance of the 17 participants and give everyone a glow light almost 10 minutes more. I understand it can happened to any one and she will gave us the time but she don’t do it. She was rushing the tour. The walked was so fast that only two of the participants were able to walk close to her at front and all of the rest of the people are just mad and upset we can’t even keep up. I notified I have an injury on my knee and can’t walk too fast and she didn’t waited. Didn’t explain or provided information. She just sprint walk. There were also more people asking questions and wanted to take pics (she said since the beginning that she will be able to make some stops and took pictures of us if we wanted) included me and my kids and she didn’t wait. Two of the participants in the group were lost. She was rushing everything the tour was not even 40 min. And she wanted to leave me behind wish make me upset. My kids were upset. This was not a tour. Didn’t get to see or hear anything about the Niagara Falls and then she left because she said she needs to go. We waited for the fire works which she said it would happen at 10pm; by 10:30 we decided to leave, no fireworks. I paid for everything in here and was not able to experience anything, it was so frustrating. The only good thing that we exp was the Made of the Mist that we had to paid separately. I’m requesting a refund and I am providing receipts by request. Also, I notified the issue with the Made of Mist and the lady of the tour told me by the end of the “tour” she was going to request a refund with the agency but at the tour she didn’t do it or provide me with anything.

Danish was very knowledgeable and Niagara Falls. A great your guide. The falls were amazing to see at night.

First of all, don't book this because it's on the American side. To see all three falls illuminated, you have to be on the Canadian side. Secondly, this was not a "tour." This was a person who knew very little about Niagara Falls, walking us to a place that did not showcase the illuminated falls. She did not have a speaker with her, so unless you were right next to her, you couldn't hear anything she was saying (which wasn't much). She was on her phone texting half the time, and when we asked questions, she either didn't know or had to Google it. She verbally got excited when two people who ordered the 90-minute tour didn't show because it meant she could cut out early. This is a fine feeling to have as a human, but not one you should share with your paying customers. All we did was walk from Hard Rock Cafe to the American Falls overlook and then walk back. It's not a tour, and I can't stress that enough. Save your money for either something on the Canadian side or for a different tour/attraction/restaurant on the American side.

Do not buy this is a reap off, you can do this on your own and you cannot see the falls illuminated for that you would have to be in Canada

Very misleading information about the tour u don't need to. Pay them all that money and you can walk the park at 945 and see it urself this website is a joke had another tour that was supposed to last 4.5 hours and it was over in two such a rip off book ur own attraction these folks is taking people's hard earn money for nothing

It is a waste of money. You walk where you can walk alone, with the difference that someone is talking to you. You pay for a boat ride that they don't give you.
