Transport was very cramped when full. Hars to see when sitting in the back. Places we visited were good. Guide was knowledgable.

Our tour guide Stalina was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable about the area. She kept us entertained the entire trip. Elvis our driver was great at maneuvering the big bus. We loved the tour. Highly recommend this duo for your tour!
Very informative and interesting experience. The tour guide was detailed and courteous. Took his time to explain historical facts and answered all questions asked.
Excellent overview of Manhattan, Harlem, Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about some information, but made some racist and sexist comments. I assumed the tour would be light and full of pop culture based on the description. However, it became a lesson in economics and stereotypes.
This is a great little tour for seeing a lot in a short space of time. We were on a return trip to NYC and picking up parts that we didn't manage to visit the first time. Estelina was our tour guide. She has a vast, in depth knowledge of all the areas and history of the stops we visited, with a personal touch dropped in. Her enthusiasm, coupled with I'm depth knowledge and humour makes this tour perfect. She injects the right balance of 'need to know' and additional information. Her personal experiences bring the magic to life. On a personal note, I think the actual tour would benefit from being an hour longer, to allow enough time for a large volume of people to take photos, wander and explore. However, I'm guessing this runs to a timetable, and there probably aren't enough hours in a day. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to see and hear some history, local insight and use it as a foundation to maybe go back after, and explore the areas independently. Rico our driver and Estelina make a brilliant pair. Please pass on our thanks to both of them for making it a memorable experience, for all the right reasons. Money well spent.
Estrellata was an excellent guide who is passionate about NYC and shares a genuine admiration for each of the boroughs. I’d been to Manhattan several times, but now I feel like I’ve seen New York City. The tour does a great job of showcasing the strengths of each neighborhood with ample time to explore a bit and whet the appetite for return trips.Transportation made it easy for everyone including those with mobility issues. As long as you can walk and board a bus, you’ll enjoy the neighborhoods in manageable doses.
Great experience learning about the different districts of NY
Loved the tour!! It was great to see many landmarks without having to rent a car! Our guide was very informative
Good experience. Great knowledge of Harlem queens and general New York information Good to know all of the parts of the city
Avoid this tour. Terrible organization upon arrival to pickup. Over 100 people stacked up on the curb with no clear point of contact. Booked a “van” tour but a massive coach bus showed up 30 mins late. Tour guide didn’t even find me, I happened to notice my name on the sign in sheet while walking by. Families were separated on the bus because nobody took charge of metering seats. Once we finally got going we noticed it was fairly warm and asked for AC to be turned on. They said it was at max. At best it was blowing warm air. The stops were as advertised but definitely nothing I’d want to do again. The rides between stops was absolutely miserable. It was beyond hot, people were visibly sweating through their clothes, my kid and I resorted to using drinking water to wet our hair and using our hats as fans. Tour guide continually made non-sensical excuses to explain the heat when it was obvious that the AC was broken. Spoke to several fellow tourists after we got off the tour at the first available exit and we all agreed it was absolute misery. Our tour guide was Stelina. Nice woman but lacking in leadership skills on a bus full of people. Once things unraveled she was urging our driver in Spanish to expedite the journey but there was nothing she could do with Brooklyn traffic. Lone bright spot was our driver Nelly. What a driver!!! She was ripping that huge bus through tiny gaps in traffic and parked in tight spots like a true professional. In the best of circumstances this would have been a mediocre tour, in this scenario it was the absolute lowlight of my NYC trip.
I recommend this tour in Spanish to learn more about what lies beyond Manhattan. Brooklyn, Queens, Harlem and the Bronx.
Really good, the tour guide was so knowledgeable and lovely. Very comfy bus and learned loads. Look for interviajes staff outside the hotel.
It was very well organised, a lot of historical information
Stalina was an excellent guide (maybe her name was Estalina, sorry). However, she provided a great tour. Had fun, even in the rain.
Great Host Ali showed us everything and so friendly, took time out take all our photos. There was snow . He was a very though guide, stopped when we asked and had so much knowledge
It’s everything about the name. Understand how is the real NYC life outside of Manhattan. Francisco took the time to explain everything, numbers, reality, zones and much more. It’s the perfect trip to understand realities and true life at the big apple.
This was an awesome experience. I am really glad to have taken this tour. The transportation was clean and warm. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Agustin, our guide today, was very knowledgeable and nice and provided a good amount of information about the 4 borroughs we visited - I can recommend this tour to anybody who wishes to get a good first impression about the city, and its contrasts, in a matter of a few hours!
• Our ship was late getting in. They waited a few extra minutes to give us time to get there. This was very much appreciated! • The bus needed AC or more ventilation. • It would have been helpful if the guide confirmed the tour prior to departing just to make sure we were all on the right bus. • Excellent driver. • Interesting overview and areas, but could probably do with fewer 15-minute stops (e.g., Joker’s stairs and Men-In-Black water towers). • Guide could fill some dead air with more significant/historic events of the various areas and some of the famous folks who grew up in the boroughs/areas. • Would be nice if the lunch break was near some quintessential NYC food providers - e.g., pizza by the slice and deli. • Would be nice if the bus returned to the starting point to let folks off at the end of the tour. The tour has a lot of potential and there’s some quick/easy things they can do to make it better.
Great tour. Very informative. Knowledge of tour guide was awesome. Totally recommend 👍. To see the difference in the 4 boroughs was an eye opener.
It was a great experience since we were able to explore different neighborhoods in little time. I loved the Jewish part of the city and the part of exploring Brooklyn.
We were disappointed in the tour as we didn’t go to or stop at the points that were advertised. We didn’t go to Harlem, which was one of the main reasons we booked the tour. didn’t stop at the big pun mural just drove by. The tour mainly drove by most of the places we were to stop. I realise we couldn’t go to Flushing Meadows because of the Tennis and the Men in Black stop was under renovation. Our break stop was totally unsuitable and uninteresting as it was at a shopping centre with a star bucks (whose toilets were locked and couldn’t be used) and a McDonalds for 3 buses to use. We walked over to the Target store as we were told we couldn’t use the buses toilet. The stop at Williamsburg was just to watch the Orthodox Jewish community wander around. Our suggestion is to scrape Williamsburg as the architecture isn’t that different and spend more time in Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn. Also instead of a drop off at Dumbo allow time for there and then finish the tour at Chinatown. On a positive note our guide Agustin was very knowledgeable and professional.
The Contrasts Tour in New York, purchased through Logitravel (which refers to the local agency Traveltino), was initially subject to some confusion: we were repeatedly told that it had not been confirmed, even though we had followed their instructions and confirmed it multiple times. Thanks, however, to the excellent work and professionalism of our guide Sandra, we were able to take part in the tour as planned. A special acknowledgment goes to Sandra for her outstanding knowledge and availability: she patiently assisted us in confirming the tour and guided us with great expertise through the different neighborhoods of New York, making the whole experience truly unforgettable.
We have done many tours over the years in many countries. Everyone of those tours returned you to either to the starting point or close to it. Not this one. You could either get dropped off on the far side of the Brooklyn Bridge or if you didn’t want that it terminated in Chinatown some 1 and a quarter hours walk back to the starting point of Times Square. This was stated in the tour blurb however you do not really look at the starting and finishing points when you are booking, especially if you don’t know the area in a foreign country. The tour itself was OK however I would not recommend it unless you enjoy walking back to the starting point or taking the subway.
Excellent trip, guide was so knowledgeable and took time to explain everything. 5.5 hours and packed with things to see. Highly recommend
Sara was an excellent host. The group were nice which helped. It was brutally hot and Sara was sensitive to that. The sights were great and the amount of time at each stop was perfect. I had to leave early and Sara was super helpful and accommodating. This trip to see Harlem, the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn was under £30 which was a total bargain. I’d definitely recommend this company.
Don't do it. The bus air conditioner did not work. The sites aren't that great. Too many stops at things that aren't needed like a market.
This tour was one of the most disappointing tour we have ever been on. We go on a lot of tours and this was so disappointing. There was no history. There was a lot of drop off points that had little context as to why it was significant. They were just random streets. In addition, there were some random movie references, which was irrelevant. It was just very boring.
Millie was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that wanted to experience New York.
This was the best tour! Our guide Sarah was brilliant, she knew a lot of information but also made this fun and interesting. Seeing the different boroughs was great and you get a better sense of New York City. The stops along the way are just long enough and are as detailed in the description of the tour. The empanadas from the store on one stop were delicious. We chose to get off in little China (last stop) and walked around to go up onto the Brooklyn bridge. We done the morning tour (9am), you meet outside the Manhattan Hotel. Our tour was full so if are thinking about it book early because it is likely to sell out. I booked about 4 weeks before through Tripadvisor - viator. We were a family of 6 and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Sarah, our driver (a lady), and Intertravel.
It’s an interesting tour, seeing NY from a different angle. A real experience of the diversified culture of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our lady guide and driver were very knowledgable and helpful. Highly recommend tour to take
Amazing Tour to see different areas in NY. Very kind and knowledgeable tour guide. The tour was done in a small group of 14 people. I went on my own and loved it :)
We had booked a more complete tour, but it was cancelled. This was as close as we could get. Had most everything, but not Coney Island. Too much time on murals, and not enough time at Citi Field/US Tennis. Guide, ?Kay?, did ok, but doesn’t need to badmouth former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Was amazing, Luca explains everything I went to Washington DC. Just one day from New York, and they are not waste of time but you feel enough time too. And I loved the energy of Luca
Our driver Augustin was very knowledgeable and the whole tour was seamless and interesting. Has to be the best way to see the real New York. Really worth it.
Loved every minute Thankyou Cecilia Definitely worth the money A must to see New York in its many facets A great way to see the less popular areas
It was great and I'm willing to do it again. I enjoyed every minute of it. All the historical information provided by the tour guide name Agustin was awesome.
Guillermo and your driver were great! We learned a lot exploring the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn with them. Thank you!
We really enjoyed this tour, it gave some history and it felt very relaxing. Adrian and Jamie were very kind. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Great guide very knowledgeable on all areas of the tour. And a memorable walk across Brooklyn Bridge.
Had a wonderful time. The destinations were interesting and fresh. Many iconic locations as well. Adrian, our tour guide was funny, engaging, organized and very knowledgeable. Take this tour. You won’t regret it!
They didn’t show up at place where they should be. I paid 98$ and they change location and didn’t want to come up for us. Very BAD experience and I wouldnt recommended.
Adrian was awesome and we thoroughly going on this trip with him in his mini van we got a really good experience of the contrasts of NY and he was so nice and polite and interesting
Excellent staff and guided tours. The guides are really kind with very good explanations. I specially recommend Fernando( NY Contrast tour) and Martin (Washington and Philadelphia trip).
Easy to get around and so many famous landmarks to visit. The reality was better than expected and the city wasn’t as frenetic as expected. I found the cafes and restaurants very limited and many had shut or closed down. Subway worked well and made travel simple but it was very tired and in major need to major overhaul. The highlight was the Hudson River Park on sunny Saturday morning with thousands out enjoying the views and magnificent piers all renovated and landscaped.
Dumbo area was impressive unfortunately our trip was delayed with the breakdown of the van we were in. Wish it would have included Greenwich village.
It is a very bad experience, they did not want to wait for us 10 minutes, which we know that we are tourists and should wait for it since we paid $100, they only said that they could not wait and we were lost. and they did not return the money
The guide and driver were great. We really enjoyed their insights into the various neighborhoods through which we went. We had never been to Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx, and appreciated the differences between the boroughs, especially the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. When we next return to NY, we want to stay in Brooklyn to get an even better understanding of it.
Guide had a relatively thick accent, and was difficult to understand at times, especially when he mispronounced words. He also gave a lot of misinformation - the most egregious of which was his assertion that one does not own real estate in America but only the buildings located on the real estate (!!) with all the real estate being owned by the government. He also seemed driven to perpetuate the belief that New York City is absolutely rife with crime and murders; mocked the Hasidic Jews for their dietary restrictions, their strict sexual morality, (claiming that they are extremely powerful, own almost all the banks in America, blaming them for the fact that Mel Gibson's career exploded when his anti-Semitic rant caused him to become toxic several years ago, asserting that married Hasidic women wear wigs because they have shaved off all of their hair, etc). .
