Ms. Rachel, the friendly night tour guide, was gracious and accommodating during our winter night tour. We enjoyed her detailed narrative of the points of interest. We recommend Rachel’s tour.

Rachel and Juan did an excellent job on this tour. Rachel is very knowledgeable about NY. Even though I have been to NY several times, she took us to places I have never seen and explained these places. If I ever get back to NY I would do another tour with Rachel. She and Juan are a great asset to Viator.
This Christmas lights tour of New York City was absolutely magical and one of the best ways to experience the city at night during the holidays. Visiting Grand Central Station, Wall Street and other sites instantly put us in the Christmas spirit. From the glass roof bus, we could experience the lights and sights of the Chrysler Bldg, Trinity Church and the Ghostbusters Headquarters (from the movie) and many, many more. Traveling through the city at night and taking in so many beautifully lit landmarks made the experience feel special and festive. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and thoughtfully planned, allowing us to truly enjoy the sights without feeling rushed. This tour is a wonderful mix of holiday charm and iconic New York scenery, and it’s perfect for visitors or locals looking to see the city shine during Christmas. Highly recommended for a memorable and festive night out. 🎄✨
We looked forward to this tour during our visit to NYC. It was titled Holiday Lights, however our guide focused mainly on the sites of New York. Informative and interesting however somewhat disappointing on the holiday lights. We did see the NYSE tree and the Rockefeller Center tree but it felt like we missed out on other iconic holiday displays, such as Saks and Macy’s windows, etc. One stop was to a pizza shop for a slice of NY-style pizza. One would think it was included with the cost of this tour, however, it was not. One thing that really bothered me was that we did not get dropped off where we got picked up as the description said. This would be a great general tour to see the sites of NY but a bit of a let down for a holiday lights tour.
This is not a Holiday lights tour. For 89$ per head we saw about 3 actual holiday lights- rest of the tour was architecture and buildings/ hospitals of the city. Save your $$ just do the hop on off tour- cheaper- multiple routes trips option plus u can use those tickets for the whole day! Guide and driver efforts are appreciated though.
Locations were good. Your quite had very poor communication skills, was limited on the info that was provided.
Great Tour!! Well planned and coordinated. Guide shared lots of interesting information about the history of NYC. And plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the sights. Well done!!
Great tour, many interesting and fun stops, and an excellent tour guide. Vehicle was clean and comfortable and complimentary water was provided.
Had an amazing time. The weather was a bit chilly but we we’re both covered up and were able to enjoy the experience without letting it bother us.
Excellent tour. Very knowledgeable guide and clean and comfortable van with many photo opportunities including food stops.
Our review is not based on traffic or weather. It is Christmas in NYC after all. However considering the weather, our tour guide could have explained history on the tour bus. Our tour guide seemed more interested in telling his version of history, including his personal history, than addressing the needs and wants of his group. This tour was advertised as a holiday light tour. We would have appreciated to see more holiday lights and hear festive history than a personal history tour.
Mim was a great tour guide and took us to some great places and a pizza place for dinner. She did great! Only 4 people in our group and she personalized it and was very knowledgeable.
This was an excellent tour and one of the highlights of my trip to NY. Our tour guide Alberto and bus driver Tony were both excellent. The highlight for me on this tour was Hudson Yards and Little Island. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
Jimmy the chicken man from Brooklyn was an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed his insights on the City. The stops along the way were well planned. He had to modify the order of a couple of stops after we got drenched in a fast moving downpour. We headed to an excellent pizza stop and were mostly dry when we went to our last stop.
We booked the night tour right after the excellent full day tour. Our guide was Alberto and highlights of the night tour were the High Line, Little Island and the Financial District. We also appreciated that we could view all the three bridges (“BMW”) before and after sunset. The quick stop at a little pizza place was nothing to write home about but it served its purpose. The night tour complemented the day tour rather well. Do note that this combination works especially for those who are on a tight schedule. Both tours began and ended at the Winter Garden Theatre. A real highlight turned out to be that right after we alighted from our night tour bus, we were able to join adoring fans of George Clooney (!!!) as he exited from his latest performance at the theatre. The excitement of the joyous crowd was palpable. Clooney was such a nice guy and hung around for quite a long time…just to chat and pose for photos etc. What a lovely way to end the evening!
This was our second tour and just like the first the dispatcher James and the driver Tony were very friendly. Jimmy was our guide and he was also very knowledgeable. We visited Times Square, Hudson Yards and Highland Park, Little Island, Pier17 @ South Street Seaport. We passed the Empire State Building, Public Library, Chrysler Building, Grand Central Station and Bryant Park wile passing through Midtown East, the Financial District and Lower Manhattan. Little Italy Pizzeria served the best pizza we've ever tasted.
The tour was awesome! Learned so many interesting facts. , We saw several things we would have never found. Our guide Jimmy H. was super informative, funny and made us all feel like we were good friends visiting during the trip. Would highly recommend this tour and guide! Our bus driver Anthony was also very kind and definitely knew his way around town! You won’t regret spending an evening with them!
Go, go and go, small bus, very well organized, a lot of instagram spots, right pace of the tour, valuable guide! Highly recommended!
We took this tour on our first night in NYC. Charles was a wonderful guide. He had a great personality, and really packed in a lot of information both on and off the bus. He didn’t rush us, yet he made sure to give us a very full tour. He seemed like he really enjoyed being a guide as well, and it was a very nice experience. You’ll see a number of things you probably wouldn’t find/see on your own. So it’s it good for everyone, even if you’re not brand new to NYC.
Very entertaining and informative! Definitely worth of doing it ! Great to have in closed bus on chilly evening excursion - you would freeze with out! Little walking was good too.
We booked a night tour, and we were the only ones booked on that particular night, so it was like having a private tour. Our guide Jimmy was amazing and so knowledgeable about all the places he took us to. We had a lovely few hours with Jimmy and our driver Arlis.
This experience was well worth the time. To see so much of the city and detail information on each site we visited. Would recommend to anyone.
We had a wonderful experience with Nathan and Juan. I did a day time and night time Tour and would highly recommend seeing NY at night time as well.
We booked a night tour with this company but ended up being the only ones booked on so ended up with a private tour by accident. We had Jimmy as our guide and Arlis as our fabulous driver! Jimmy was absolutely phenomenal as a guide - he is extremely knowledgeable about the area. We were taken around some fantastic sights and he knew all the best spots for some fab photo stops. The experience was very personable and he cracked some great jokes and anecdotes throughout and really made the experience a fantastic one. We learned a lot about New York that we would have never known otherwise and we had such a fantastic evening. Thank you so much to both Jimmy and Arlis for such a wonderful experience - we will be recommending this tour to anyone who comes to visit New York!
This was a great tour very informative- it was a very small group - we covered a lot of ground and got a great feel for the city. I grew up in NY but left awhile ago and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the many changes
Our guide was fantastic! We had a small group so he showed us a few bonus items and stops on the night tour!
We saw so much of New York and our guide was very knowledgeable and told us so much about the area! It is a great way to see New York!
Great tour, liked visiting some hidden gems and hit all the popular sites. Alberto was excellent historian and guide!
No matter how many times you see the city during the day it comes alive in a different way at night. The atmosphere, the lights, the different colours of the lighting. It is a must see. I say "Wow " so many times because it is so beautiful. It is like looking at a new place!
This tour showed a part of NYC I had never seen before. Traffic was a beast! I’m told this is normal for the time of the year. The driver handled the traffic like a pro! I would recommend this tour!
although the guide was knowledgeable, he cut the trip short by an hour as he was on his way to a Halloween party the trip was a little short of 3 and 1/2 hrs. and we got dropped off 7 blocks away from the start, which means our p/u was all wrong, we had to walk. not fun. he rushed the tour, as we might have seen the highlight's I feel we missed stuff as he kept telling the driver to turn on other streets
Enjoyed the small bus with a glass roof which allowed easier viewing and taking pictures of the tall sights of Manhattan. Stops where we left the bus for a walking tour included the High Line, Hudson Yards, Grand Central, the man made park in the Hudson River and a spot to get good pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Charles and driver excellent. Charles kept us informed every yard of the tour. Really made us feel special. Would highly recommend this trip to friends
What a fantastic way to take in the city at night and have a native New Yorker share about the city he loves! Jim was an amazing guide and kept sharing stories and information throughout the tour. He was highly accommodating for all guests and made sure everyone enjoyed the tour. Loved the stops to see some of the familiar and new highlights of the area. I'd not heard of High Line Park - but what a cool piece of green space in the city! After a short time, it was as if we all had a new friend in NYC - strangers? fugedaboudid! 😁 And throughout it all, Juan guided us safely through the streets in the bus - avoiding traffic snares and keeping us close to our stops! Highly recommend!
We booked this less than an hour before the tour departed from an agent in Times Square and the price was cheaper than what we had seen online. Headphones were provided to listen to the tour information while on the bus. We chose the 8pm tour to make sure it would be dark enough to see the city lights. There are some great views of Times Square as you leave on the tour. The bus takes you across the Brooklyn Bridge and then back again. At this point the views of the city at night are breathtaking. The whole tour is worth it just for this moment!
Jimmy was so personable And friendly. he gave a very thorough explanation of what we were seeing and where we were going. he was humorous, polite and thoughtful. I would definitely take this tour again!
This an excellent tour! Very comprehensive, educational, and fun. The tour guide did a great job and definitely knows his stuff! The only thing we feel we need to warn people of is there is a LOT of walking. By our step counters, over 4 miles. As long as you are up for that, you are up for an excellent tour!
2nd time on this tour. It is LONG-- 4 hours but you see so much!! Many walking stops and picture opportunities. Great tour guide.
Our tour guide was awesome and made our experience fun! He kept us entertained and his knowledge was awesome!
The tour was better than expectations. Took my Granddaughter and we both enjoyed the route and the guide was very good. Would reccomend the trip. Especially being an evening tour.
This was a wonderful tour! The best part is the guide… he’s a true New Yorker and has great stories and information. His movie making studies definitely help. The most memorable part was the high line and the island. I appreciate that we were able to separate from the group for a while to feed one of our kids and it wasn’t a big deal. Even though this tour goes a bit late and would not be ideal for small kids it worked great for our 8 and 9 year old. It helped that the bus wasn’t very crowded as they were a bit rowdy. The kids favorite part was Grand Central where they could talk across the hallway corners. Highly recommend this tour! Nighttime is a great time to see NYC!
Great experience. First time in NYC and it was awesome. The guide did great in providing the history and stories. Thank you
Albert, the tour guide was awesome. He had excellent details about the city and he was personable and answered questions with ease and accuracy. He made the 4 hour tour seem quick and interesting. It was also very intimate in that it was only 8 people. More walking than we expected, but well worth the exhaustion and the amount paid.
Excellent guide and wonderful walkabouts. With so much to see, having knowledgable and experienced staff makes all the difference. Actually had more stops than expected. Thanks for the ride!
I recommend this tour for first time visitors and those who only go every few years. It is well worth it and gives you a great perspective on where things are and the significance of them. Our guide was great during this 4 hour tour in Friday afternoon city traffic and we received an amazing informative tour
Not so good experience as we were not given few extra minutes to take photos and buy some snacks for kid! Felt so bad. It’s guided tour but we can read the history from internet we are in NY to create memories ! State Empire building not covered big miss ! Brooklyn bridge was not touched! If you are old &. Boomer it’s for you. If are 90’s, 2k kid please do not opt this !
Bus tours was great. You could see everything and guide had good information. Wish they gave 30 min at a place to grab a snack or meal.
Viewing the Brooklyn Bridge during the sunset. Seeing the different area of Manhattan. Also loved visiting Hudson Yard.
Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and fun. My sister and I had a terrific time. The tour guide kept us laughing. 10++++++
I would recommend this trip for anyone visiting. So much has changed in the city in the last few years. I learned SO MUCH!!! Great views, knowledgeable. Noone would ever cover so many sights and information on their own. Best money spent!!!!
