Cruise was fine, food pretty good, ambience was decent. Staff was friendly and attentive. Pickup and dropoff spot was kind of bleak and area didn't seem all that safe. Overall experience was ok but not quite what I expected. Pricey, but great views of the city.

We did the VIP experience and it was AMAZING!! The food was top notch, the views were beautiful and the servers and staff were extremely accommodating.

Boarding the ship was very poorly organized. All the passengers followed the signs, but the path was blocked. We had to figure it out for ourselves and go around the section under construction from the other side. There was no guide on board. I enjoyed the live music, the food, and, of course, the view. At the end of dinner, we received a bill for additional drinks, but it was incorrect. It included two extra drinks (two glasses of white wine for 40 dollars) that we hadn't ordered. The staff promised that the amount would be refunded to my card within two hours; however, four days have passed, and I still haven't received the refund.

We had no idea who was in charge during our cruise. The pick up location wasn’t well sign posted or well lit. We had notified the cruise my partner has an allergy and it seemed this was forgotten about for every course and they didn’t seem to understand what my partner could and couldn’t eat. The tables are very close together. The staff didn’t come around often enough to offer more drinks and as it was choppy it wasn’t easy to go to the bar. Quite rough when you are waiting to depart so would not recommend for those who get sea sick. Overall we had a nice time together but I think the experience could be improved for the price you pay.

I was late for boarding but the boat was still the dock..I alerted the crew and it seemed that they would let me on board but then the boat left the dock…I’m trying to reach the company to see if I can reschedule…

The cruise was very nice. The team is very sweet and professional, in particular Yashka. I recommend this experience. They even remembered that it was for our anniversary. Very satisfied!

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We had such a wonderful time! The entire team treated us so well and made us feel truly special from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfect and beautifully presented. A special thank to Yashka, who was amazing throughout the whole evening. She was so kind, attentive, and professional, she made our anniversary truly unforgettable. Fun experience with beautiful skyline views and a nice pass by the Statue of Libery. Our server Gulay was pleasant and attentive.

A excellent way to see NYC and the staff are polite and respectful. Especially Gulay was helpful

Menu listed Ribeye steak as choice of entree served NY strip which was tough. Had to send steak back twice because it was over cooked. The was told they ran out of steak and was given a choice of salmon or pasta. When told them I don’t eat either was given a lobster tail that was only served to VIP guest. It was nice but not sure for the price. Desert was excellent

This was a nice evening, however I dined solo and the table placement selected for me was not great. There was one other solo person and we both were placed in the center of the room between everyone starring at the front glass mirror. I was not able to enjoy any views of the city and feel this should have been arranged better. Dinner was not flavorful

It was an amazing experience. Loved seeing the NYC SKYLINE as we ate a beautifully prepared dinner. The staff were all great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The cruise was an amazing experience for my husband and I. We thought we were having just a regular night out but it was much more than that. The food was so good and they just kept feeding us which was great. The staff were amazing I would recommend it 100%.

The experience comes with mixed feeling, the live music was a great touch, the pictures captured were wonderful. The food was good. Could be a bit more organized. I would have liked a pre safety touch from the captain, it seemed like a lot the young servers were new. Had to always get their attention for services.

View were amazing and the staff was good. Lighting was terrible for pictures (neon lights all around the boat) and the food was just ok.

The highlight is the amazing views of NY by night and then the final star was the Statue of Liberty, to be so close. The food is plentiful and the service from Guloy and Doro was exceptional. A very nice night.

This was SO MUCH FUN! I took my daughter for her 18th birthday and she loved all the cool photo ops. The service was amazing! The food wasn’t great, but it also wasn’t terrible, however, the food wasn’t the main event, so it was fine. I had done this cruise a few years ago with my older daughter and it was just as much fun as I remembered!

Of course — here’s the corrected version: We really enjoyed our New York City dinner cruise! The boat was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the crew was friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to our servers, Gulay and Rusa. They were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the evening. They really helped make the experience enjoyable. The food was good as well. My wife and I both had the cheese ravioli and steak, and we really enjoyed our meals. The highlight of the evening was definitely seeing the Statue of Liberty at night. The captain positioned the boat in a great spot and gave everyone plenty of opportunity to get some fantastic pictures. It was a beautiful view and one of those experiences that really makes you feel like you’re in New York City. The only downside was that finding the check-in and boarding location was a little difficult and could have been marked more clearly. Overall, we had a great evening and would definitely recommend the cruise, especially for the views of the Statue of Liberty and the excellent service!

This was a perfect experience if you're looking for a chill evening dinner. The servers Rusa and Gulay were wonderful and attentive, and made our dinner experience great.

The staff was very kind, the views were incredible. The food was pretty good! It was a lovely way to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had our baby and stroller with us and they accommodated us so kindly!

The NYC dinner cruise offered beautiful views, and the captain pulled right up next to the Statue of Liberty! However, the food was mid and customer service was horrible. A waitress lied about not serving drinks to tables, and asking another helper for salt and pepper felt like asking for a miracle. Nice sights, but onboard service needs major improvement.

The tour, the ambience (including place settings), food (5 courses were well paced, proportioned and tasty), wait staff, and music were all excellent. The views were spectacular- from sunset, to the city skylines and Statute of Liberty. Only took off one star because check-in process was problematic to say the least! All correspondence/info received said it was at Dock 9, but it wasn’t and instead at Dock 7, and there were no signs to indicate change or show where to go. There were multiple boats, but not given identifying boat info to atleast determine which boat to look for. Dock was also far back from where Uber can drop-off or entrance to Pier from public/private transport. Glad we planned and got there almost 45 minutes early to make it on time. So overall check-in was confusing, but eventually we got to where we needed to be.

Prepare for chaos when arriving at the pier. There are no signs to direct you and the ground agent could use more coordination with organizing the different groups. The food was tasty and the cruise staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our dinner Rusa was great as our server. You get a very nice view The Statue of Liberty. We recommend it if you want I nice dinner.

We booked a VIP dinner cruise for 11 people for our wedding celebration in New York, paying $3,106.25. On July 7, 2026, we arrived at Pier 36 and waited for over an hour. The cruise never operated, and we had received no prior notification. The next day, NYC Water Cruises confirmed in writing that the boat had technical problems and promised us a full refund. On July 23, they told us the refund had been processed on July 14 and would arrive within 10 business days. We never received the refund. Since then, we have sent numerous emails and made repeated calls asking for proof of the refund. We were eventually told that the case had been escalated to the General Manager. Months later, we still have neither our $3,106.25 nor a satisfactory explanation. This was supposed to be a special evening celebrating our wedding with our family and friends. Instead, we lost the evening and have spent months trying to recover money the company promised to return. Think carefully before booking with NYC Water Cruises. Booking: NYCWATCRU-92023880
