Kevin was very knowledgeable able items in the museum. He remembered were everyone was from Great personality!
Rob was an amazing tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the artists, the artwork, and the fascinating artifacts throughout the Met Museum. He brought the exhibits to life with interesting stories and details that we would have otherwise missed. Rob was engaging, personable, and passionate about the museum and its incredible collection. He made the experience informative, and truly memorable. We highly recommend Rob to anyone visiting the Met and any part of NYC!
Great tour of the MET highlights by Jeff. Definitely learned a lot more than if we had done on our own.
Kevin was an excellent guide - personable, approachable and very knowledgeable. I’d make an extra effort to book him again.
Kevin was so knowledgeable, sharing great back stories and details about the art which we would not have know or learned just going through the museum by ourselves. An enjoyable afternoon.
We had a great tour with Kevin, very knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging.
Kevin was a fantastic guide. Informative, and also funny and engaging. Gave us a great overview of the museum and set the stage for a full day of discovery. Would recommend.
Leo was great! Best visit to the Met I’ve ever had,
Leo was fabulous! Worth every penny.
It was an amazing review Richard really knew his stuff, was kind and unforgettable
Excellent tour with John. Our second time doing a guided tour Different highlights. Worth the $$$
John did a great job. Hit the highlights.
Mike is a great tour leader. We’ve been to the Met many times but learned a lot and visited art we had never seen. Highly recommended.
Our very large group was waiting in the designated spot looking for our guide with the flag. We all found each other wondering around asking for the City Wonders group. Eventually, Mike, our guide found us - without flag. The group size of 20 is too large for a crowded museum especially without an earpiece and guide microphone system. Also, Mike would forge ahead without waiting for stragglers. It was up to us to find him. I understand he had a lot to show us in a limited time frame, but his method was not favorable to his customers. His knowledge of the Museum was very good. His knowledge of the art was so-so. I recommend seeing this Museum, but with another tour group.
The Met is huge and quite daunting, and my family tends to have a hard time with art museums in particular, so I was hoping to improve our overall experience by taking a guided tour. We’ve done quite a few of these types of tours and Leo was up there with the best of them as a guide-he was engaging and interesting, and by following him through the museum we saw a lot, learned a lot, and didn’t want to kill anyone by the end ;) I definitely recommend this tour and hope you get Leo as a guide!
Thank you, to our guide Cherie, for such an informative and wonderful tour! Although our level of English unfortunately didn’t allow us to catch every nuance, we were able to discover some of the masterpieces of this extraordinary museum. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion with us. We truly appreciated it!
Our guide was very well informed. His enthusiasm and in depth knowledge was impressive.
Great introduction to the Metropolitan museum. Tour guide was friendly & easy to follow. Nice tour for solo travelers.
Very good tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared some very interesting history and anecdotes about the art.
The museum was awesome. But the skip the line ticket that we paid for was not accepted at the museum. They do not honor the line.
Leo was great! The tour was very informative and we hit the highlights with our guide Leo
Leo Was so good and sweet, he explained it very good!
Very good guide with passion about the museum
Such a large place, recommend a guide to see the highlights
The tour of The Met Highlights was a perfect way to see the museums in a few hours. Richard was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, providing extra history and interesting facts about the art. The group size was perfect- we were all able to hear and be involved in the tour.
Our tour guide, Sam, was very knowledgeable and interesting. There is so much to see at the Met and it would be difficult to know where to even begin without a tour. Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend this tour! John provided an exceptional experience.
Kevin was our tour guide, an artist and an art professor. The tour was excellent, and he was very responsive to all of our questions. Such an knowledgeable person, and very kind as well.
Got delayed due to rain and no accommodations or communications were made for us to even meet up with the group. Emailed, texted and called both Trip Advisor and City Winders. Will NOT use again. Wouldn’t even leave the tickets we paid for. Horrible experience. Museum is cool.
As a non-informed person when it comes to art, having the daunting task of walking the Met would be overwhelming. My guide (Sam) was engaging, outgoing, and extremely knowledgeable. He made the tour very informative and I came away saying it was just too short. Would’ve loved more time. Definitely recommend
Richard was our tour guide. He took us around the museum and gave wonderful information about the art we were looking at. He knew a lot and he welcomed questions
Lots covered on the tour. Richard, our guide, was knowledgeable and accommodating. A microphone/earphone system would have been wonderful since it was difficult to hear him at times.
Mike was great! Very knowledgeable and great guide around the crowded museum. Very friendly and helpful!
The host did an excellent job showing us the highlights of the Met and provided good insight.
Really enjoyed my tour of The Met in NYC with Nicola..was honestly the best tour ever! Loved the history and making everything seem so relevant and fascinating!!! Highly recommend!!!
Kevin knows his stuff and walks you through a great experience.
The booking was easy and straightforward. Our tour guide, Richard, was great! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun.
Cherie gave us a great tour hitting the highlights of the Met. I never would have been able to do that on my own. Highly recommend!
The “skip the line” should be modified or removed from title as you DO have to go through the security line first, but can SKIP the line to purchase a ticket. This would be helpful in the meeting instructions to know and to remind people to have time for the security check
The guide was great, but we hoped the tour would be a little more of an overview of the museum. It rather was focused on certain things for probably too long. If it were up to me, I’d say hit each or most of the sections in the museum and give a more brief overview of the most interesting 1-2 pieces in there. This felt a little too slow paced and too in depth with too few stops made.
Great experience at the Met! I will come back again!
Kevin was awesome, very knowledgeable and made it much more interesting. Easy to follow along in the history that he was having, and, he was able to answer questions as they came up. He had knowledge of Arias that we did not get a chance to explore, but was able to refer to them in the context of what we were seeing. It was very relaxed, and he let the participants determine the flow as well as which exhibits were prioritized. I would highly recommend him. 10 out of 10. Thanks, Kevin. I have to come back now.
Kevin is an art historian and the perfect person to share the history and enthusiasm for the pieces of art and unique aspects of the Met. Taken many prior tours of different venues under Viator a d he was the best.
Leo was an excellent guide! His acting background made what could have been a dry subject entertaining. Even though I was briefly an art major 60+ years ago, I learned so many new details in just 2 hours!
Not knowing how the tour usually runs, I want to give credit to our guide Leo. Though he shares right at the start that he's not an art historian, his knowledge of the artworks we saw was comprehensive and he offered a number of interesting insights regarding the artist, the creation of the piece and/or its historical significance. He modified the path he'd normally take as the inclement weather had driven many tourists indoors so we rarely fought crowds. And we seemed to see most of the pieces on the Met's own recommended highlights! Excellent tour, guide, and value.
Kevin was very sharp insightful and professional
Kevin is amazing! He did a fantastic job on our tour on The Met.
Our guide Leo was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Pickup was also easy. I would advise getting there a little early to wait in line for security at the beginning.
Rob had so much information to share and did a great job taking us through the MET. Huge knowledge on paintings and painters and a clear love of the topic
